We both appreciate everyone who voted and gave us input on the different baby names! We decided today to use a name we had slotted for a middle name as the first name. Also, I agreed to go with the Celtic form of another name for the middle name because Sean loves it. So....her name....unless we change our mind AGAIN...will be....drum roll..................................Lilli Morrigan Patton :)

FYI I had a grandmother, the family rock who died on my 28th birthday (yes, that very morning). She was German and her name was Cilli....pronounced "Silly" if you can believe it. I wanted to honor her with the name I chose because I feel she is my angle. Lilli was as close as I could come so it just felt right putting it first :)

Doing good... just got back from our next to last childbirth class at Presbyterian. I don't think I'm anywhere close to delivery though :-( I'm thinking I'll have a Labor Day baby.
Please keep me posted about any progressions! I'll live vicariously through you since it looks like your "time" is approaching.. :-)

hope u feeling well, i had the pain last week spent the whole day in hospital they did all the checks and even an internal check and then i had the show which freaked me out but im ok now hope u get better too and dont worry keep relax and just rest take care

hope you had a good night's sleep!!....I got kicked in the swimming pool when I was pregnant with Xander...by a big huge man doing laps...he shoulda been in the lanes but he was in the kids area...I was so frightened...people don't see you pregnant under water...he really booted me...I was nearly in tears because I was sooo worried...Xander was totally fine...the docs told me that they are really pretty safe in there so don't worry...
Xander's eye is fine this morning...thanks for posting about the concussion..I just got freaked by the massive difference in the size of his pupils...I've never seen that before...split heads, busted noses and teeth yes...but not 'marilyn manson eyes'...lol.....the pics don't even show it that well!.......The triage nurse at our local minor injuries clinic gave him a good examination....but I was worried about there being bleeding or something where I couldn't see.....ah the joys of children eh...from conception onwards you just worry worry worry.....lol.....have a good day!! hope you are feeling better today.....

I read that you were up bright and early today. Did you get that slushy?

Yup, my baby's engaged. Sorry if it's TMI, but I can feel the head myself. My nurse said that the baby might be here very soon, but I've done some reading and one thing said that it could be a month from lightening and engagement until the birth of the baby. Since this happened at least a week ago, I figure I could have 3 weeks...or less. Who the heck knows? I'll see my doctor on Wednesday and maybe find out more.

I'm with you on the world spinning too fast, too. I've been so tired, achy, and feeling just plain weird. I'm so glad that I finished the nursery and am fortunate enough to have time off work since I teach. I don't think I could do it any more. I never imagined I'd be this wiped out. I went to my birthing class today and was told that it might be very soon for me as the head's fully engaged...yikes! I'm excited but nervous.

Thank you so much for your very, very sweet comment on the nursery! We worked hard on it (and stayed on a pretty tight budget). Thank god for the grandparents buying the furniture and rug (and to one of my student's parents for giving me her old rocker). We had fun with the colors and the art. :-D I can't wait to see yours, too. I'll bet it'll be pretty and classy.

Thank you for your reply! These symptoms are such a mind game -- but only b/c I'm letting them be. I should just enjoy it all, you're right. Pregnancy can be such a roller coaster ride for a worrier like me!

My guy is scared he will make me go into premature labor. It's just a guy thing, they can be insensitive sometimes as much as they try to be understanding.
