We both appreciate everyone who voted and gave us input on the different baby names! We decided today to use a name we had slotted for a middle name as the first name. Also, I agreed to go with the Celtic form of another name for the middle name because Sean loves it. So....her name....unless we change our mind AGAIN...will be....drum roll..................................Lilli Morrigan Patton :)

FYI I had a grandmother, the family rock who died on my 28th birthday (yes, that very morning). She was German and her name was Cilli....pronounced "Silly" if you can believe it. I wanted to honor her with the name I chose because I feel she is my angle. Lilli was as close as I could come so it just felt right putting it first :)

Ya, I am still taking trips to the baby store and my lil one just turned 8 months old....you really don't need everything at once, and when you do need something down the road you can just go out and get it....don't worry!!! i bought the graco baby system in the french roast style which is lime green trim on dark brown and i really love it for my little girl.....everything about her room is frogs and green and the new baby is going to share a room with her and her theme is lady bugs.....they look really cute in the froggy room!!! i am really excited about having 2 girls a year apart!!!

Ya, this site is great, my husband loves when i go on it too because it helps relieve a lot of stress which makes for a healthier home!! lol!! don't stress out too much!!! this is the fun part, waiting for the baby to come and preparing your home and your life for a new family member!!! if you have any questions i can help you.....the graco stroller system is amazing!!! i went through a couple of breast pumps before i realized the medela really worked well, but like i tell all my friends who are expecting, it's all really "live and learn" cuz every baby and every mamma are different!!!! it is so very exciting!! how was shopping with your mother??? did she help?

Hey girl, Sorry you're so overwhelmed. It comes and goes in phases for me. One second I'm on cloud nine and looking forward to every little thing, and then the next moment I'm completely overwhelmed.
BTW, we were at Babies-r-us yesterday too!!!! Wonder if we were there at the same time? Once reason why it didn't completely overwhelm me to register is that I set up my registry online over a month ago and I'll hop on every once in a while to add things to it as I think of them. That way I'm doing it at my own pace and not getting the crazy sensory overload of being in that store!

Hey mrs.patton, don't get overwhelmed.....honestly you really don't "need" anything except love for your baby and i know that sounds cheesy but i had my first last year and we bought so much crap that we couldn't even see the floor in her room any more, most of it we didn't need.......we really used onesies and baby pajamas (8-10 of each, they don't wear real clothes for a couple of months......unless you want to dress them up once in a while, but they are happiest in their pjs......aren't we all, lol), diapers, baby wipes, penaten or diaper rash cream, baby bottles, receiving blankets, hats and mittens to keep her from scratching her lil face, i liked my avent bottle steamer that you can easily put in the mircrowave....and i got a bassinet for her to sleep in that i used a lot.......everything else is really "extras" or "toppers" that the baby industry makes you feel guilty if you don't buy.......get what you want but you really truly don't "NEED" anything......if you have any questions just ask cuz i just went through it.....i am having my second baby in august, the two girls will only be a year apart, and i am sooooooo excited!!!!!

Oh thats great!!! And what a good scan, congrats on the girl!! We went for our 20wk on Monday and all is well - he moves so much though it was hard for her to get all the shots she needed for the doctor but after turning me on my side and tilting me upside down and pushing on him - he eventually cooperated. Like the first u/s tech she couldnt believe how busy yet uncooperative he was. He is breech now but thats ok for now - he had his hand in his mouth a lot - not his thumb but his whole hand! It was funny. I wish we could have gotten a video like ya'll did!
