We both appreciate everyone who voted and gave us input on the different baby names! We decided today to use a name we had slotted for a middle name as the first name. Also, I agreed to go with the Celtic form of another name for the middle name because Sean loves it. So....her name....unless we change our mind AGAIN...will be....drum roll..................................Lilli Morrigan Patton :)
FYI I had a grandmother, the family rock who died on my 28th birthday (yes, that very morning). She was German and her name was Cilli....pronounced "Silly" if you can believe it. I wanted to honor her with the name I chose because I feel she is my angle. Lilli was as close as I could come so it just felt right putting it first :)

Thanks for posting your u/s. What a great keepsake! Technology is amazing. I found out I'm having a little girl at almost 16 weeks. The perinatal specialist showed us the 3 lines and said, 100% sure it's a girl. Hopefully he's not wrong. :-) I've been buying pink like it's going out of style. Best wishes for a smooth pregnancy and delivery!

just a quick update! i had my u/s yesterday and we have a little boy squirming around in there! i found out that the reason i am not able to feel him yet is because the placenta is on the front of the uterus acting like a shock absorbing to his little kicks and punches! the doc said i should be able to feel him in there in another 2 or 3 weeks when he gets a little stronger! YEA!

Hey, just voted on your names...my oldest is Gabrielle Peyton, so, i'm partial to the name! There is only 1 other Gabrielle in her school too, so it's slightly unique around here! People call her Gabby, and that's ok i guess...i just wish it was spelled Gabi...i just think it's cuter, But who am i, lol, she's 9 now, and my opinion is becomming less important already!!!

Well I'm certainly dying to know if I have a little boy or girl in there so thank you so much for the tip!! Now does the dr.pepper include the water i'm suposed to drink? Or shall I drink the recommended water and the dr.pepper? That probably sounds best but I have either very excellent functioning kidneys or a tiny bladder, so i'm concerned i'll be bursting.

my doc told me the same thing...they'll measure the baby at the ultrsound to see if its on track, but he said not to worry... I know that the baby is getting what it needs...hopefully, I can come out of this around the same size as going into it....If not, there's always weight watchers!! :-)

We are going on a short weekend cruise to Mexico (so I already have to be careful of the water). I live in Los Angeles, so its really just a weekend get-away to celebrate my husbands birthday and my in-laws anniversary. I have some zofran left over from the first trimester, and we have sent in a document to the cruiseline that I am pregnant, so hopefully it will be smooth sailing!

I just saw the ultrasound you posted on the forum. It was really neat .... and precious! I can't wait to find out the sex of our baby. We still have 4 weeks to go ...uhhh. We go to the doctor this Thursday for a general checkup and to hear the heartbeat so that should be comforting for now at least. That's great that they did such a thorough ultrasound. Was that ultrasound done transvaginally or on the abdomen? Are they able to detect abnormalities if present with the type of ultrasound you had?
