So here I am 17 weeks, mid afternoon and I haven't gained a pound. I was overweight to begin with but as you can see most is just baby belly. This is my 4th and the question of twins or maybe 4-6 weeks further along is still hanging in the wind until July 25th. I have huge boobs which prob makes me look bigger, but would like to know what you think. As well my shirt is right against my belly, I think I look huge actually now that I can see myself on camera.. Good thing I have strong ankles, hehehehe:)))

Hi there, I am just starting to figure this personal page thing out. So here it goes, a little about myself.

I am 32yrs old mother of 3 boys ages 4-13-14, this current pregnancy was a real surprise for me as I was scheduled for a tubal ligation in March, but I happened to be in Mexico at the time. When I got back they were rescheduling me for April and I found out I was prego April 14th. So needless to say, I was not prepared at all for this.. However I couldn't be happier:) My partner is 27 yrs and has no children, this is a new relationship for us and he is super excited and so are my other children. I am recently graduating from nursing college and have benn working at the local hospital the last 12 weeks. This pregnany is a bit different from all the others (although they were all different from each other as well) I always though because they were different i would be having a girl..But NOPE all boys, and I love them very much. But this time around I have been super sick for about 8-9 weeks, my face has been breaking out, my boobs are huge and less tender now (at 13w3d) and I am craving sweet candies??? Had an ultrasound due date is Dec16/07.. I have an appointment with my doc tomorrow and I signed up with a midwife and my appointment is next Thurs. so I will definately keep this updated now that I know how. One more thing before I go, I have learned a valuable lesson aboutdrinking tea after 8pm.. DON'T DO IT>> PEE ALL NIGHT..hehehe Have a great day. :):):):) Nicole

Hi everyone just a little update. I was at the docs on thursday and he sent me for an emergency ultrasound as he was unable to detect the heartbeat. Of course while he was on the phone to the hospital telling them that he figured somehting was wrong I broke into tears and was stressed beyond belief. Needless to say as soon as the tech put the scanner on my belly my little darling was performing acrobatics for us like you wouldn't believe. Sweet baby of mine put my mind at ease instantly (and I love you for that). Heartrate is 154beats per, same as last time and the tech also showed me that everything was in it's place and did some measurements and brains shots to reassure me. However though there was a problem with my urine, I have a fair amount of blood in it and need to go tomorrow for some testing to the lab. I am thinking maybe bladder or kidney infection, as I do not have noticable symptoms as of yet other than tiredness starting again and frequent need to urinate.. If you have any comments or simular experiences I would love to hear about them. But I am off for now, I am going to love the father to be (as it is fathers day) and will update after my midwife appointment this Thursday coming.

Earlier today was the first time I felt the baby inside me. I was wondering if you were really able to feel this early and being my 4th pregnancy you would think I would know the answer to all these questions, but I don't. So yes the baby moved this afternoon and it felt great, then as I was just sitting here day dreaming about it it happened again.. yaaaaaaa I am so happy, make things a little more real for me. Other than that I have been feeling really tired agaon these past few days and not so hungry. Actually I am finding it hard to eat at all, and when I do it is very small amounts (which is good for me). I have to see my midwife on Thursday so I will update then. I love you little baby inside:)xoxox

I went to the midwife on Thursday for my firt real visit with her. Just like my doc did last week she checked for the fetal heartrate down low by my pubic bone and could not detect it. I asked her if it would be up higher and she said 'not suppose to be', so I then asked what was the big bump by my belly buttona nd she told me it was my intestines and things moving up from down below. But when she could not get a heartbeat I insisted that I have felt movement by belly button and think that baby is there, she checked me out and sure enough baby was up high and heartbeat was picked up immediately. She is concerned about my dates being accurate and my ultrasound that I have already had. At that time I was 14.5 weeks and ultrasound confirmed that by baby measurements, however I am meassuring at 20 weeks by fundal height and uteran size. So she questioned twins? But only 1 baby at the last 2 ultrasounds, so I am confused. It has nothing to do with being a little on the plump side either because this is sttrictly internal measurements. So what do you think about that, if you have any feedback for me I sure would love to hear it. This is my 4th baby and I have compared and chatted with others on their 4th and so far the closest comes is my girlfriend that is 20 weeks and I am measuring right beside her. I would love twins and I would love to be due earlier than expected, however I was just happy knowing I am able to have this baby and just pray for good health..

I have been feeling pretty good these days. I have alot more energy and am getting down to a regular sleeping routine. I have been using my body pillow and others propped in behind my back and my belly when laying on my sides for comfort. I often get really bad cramping in my lower back when I am awake and it tends to take my breath away. I am not to sure if it is from the ligaments as the baby is quite high already or my bowels before they are ready to move. It usually seems that shortly after then I do need to go to bathroom, I sure hope I don't get back labour with this baby....ouch.. I have been having the weirdest dreams ever too. I dream of my other children and their safety, and my mind is always on worrying. Some days I get really bloated and look about 8 months prego and other times I look like normal, and I haven't gained any weight yet. I lost a bit in the beginning and am slowly gaining that but nothing more yet, which is fine with me. Well we are heading into the weekend and it is my youngest sons 4th bday tomorrow, wish me luck with the heat and a bunch of screaming 4 year olds..hehehe

Wow it has been awhile since I updated this page. Well everything is going great, I had some heart palpitations the other day, both midwfie and I think it is because I really exhaustedd myself travelling to Kelowna and back. I measured at 22.5 last week and now 24.5 today, belly is growing although I have only gained 2 lbs. I have my ultrasound this coming Wed. I am hoping for a girl, and my friend whom is pregnant as well had a bunch of twin girl clothes given to her so she handed all her doubles down to me. Boy are they ever cute too.. So other than that I am feeling fine, been really bitchy and mean to my man, feel bad most times but am pretty set in my ways that he deserves it one way or another (isn't that mean.heheh). Oh and another thing, I have been craving sex really bad. I even got up in the middle of the night and had to wake him cause I just couldn't wait any longer.. I hope this sex drive stays with me after birth as well..hehehehehe Probably part of my sleeping problem. Anyhow I will update after my u/s this week.. Thanks for reading if you are.

Well this gender prediction stuff was way off except the chinese one. I am not having a girl I am having a boy.. AGAIN hehehe He is a beautiful healthy big boy, and I love him already. I have to admit I was a little shocked when the u/s tech said boy and his dinker doo was right in front of me plain as day. Brian was soooooo happy I thought he was gonna burst at the seems. He even started to rub my leg during it and saying 'it's okay another boy is good', then told me later that he thought I was gonna cry.. Silly shit, I was gonna cry because I was looking at my son in my belly growing all healthy and strong. Men eh!! Anyhow, my boys are very happy and excited especially the youngest (4yr) , he hugs my belly and tells his baby brother he loves him very much. As a matter of fact he has been my biggest support during my pregnancy and without his support I don't think I would be as happy as I have been lately. My mother/father in law didn't want to know the sex of baby, but when grandma asked if my youngest played with girls (at his daycare) he told her ''no, my mom only has 4 boys'' and grandma said 'no mom has 3 boys' he argued with her and told her ' no mom has 4 boys now, because she has one in her belly remember grandma''. Well the cat was out of the bag then, but good thing Grandpa didn't hear (he is really old fashion that way). I have been feeling really pregnant these days now, I am really working on getting the nursery done and I have been enjoying laying back feeling my little man roll around in my belly. Seems as though he does it mid afternoon and again at bedtime when I am resting. I am just worried a little about how cramped up I may get, because now already he is high and I have a hard time breathing at times and even bending over.. Oh well one day at a time..

I know you were hoping we weren't going to say this, but don't expect this baby to come early. Your baby will most likely be born in the morning. Justmommies predicts that your baby will weigh approximately 8.0 pounds and that your labor will be about 14 hours long.

I really hope that htis stuff is not true.. My last labour was induced and lasted 1 hr 10 mins none stop hard painful contraction that had no end.. I would take that over 14 hours anyday. hehe
