Hi!

My name is Amanda and I'm due on January 2, 2009. I am married and have a little boy who is 17 months old. Dylan was born Dec. 21st, 2006 after I was induced early because my doctor was going on vacation! This time I will definitely wait until my body is ready and hopefully this one won't make too early an appearance! Looks like the holidays will be full of celebrations in our house :) Wishing all you ladies a happy and healthy pregnancy!

SHAYNA'S HERE! She was born on Tuesday, September 16th at 1:35 in the afternoon. I was in labor for ONLY 3 in a half hours!!! Such a smooth and easy labor. She's beautiful...looks just like her father. Black fuzzy hair, dark blue eyes. (Which will most likely change to brown.) She's still in the hospital though because she has Jaundice. She's under a UV light, and the longer she stays under there the faster she'll get better. So, hopefully she'll be home on Saturday.

Just want to let everybody know that I'm STILL pregnant and tomorrow is my due date. I feel like my worst fear is coming true...my daughter will be born on 9/11. If she is, I'm fine with that..I just want her to be healthy. The doctor won't induce me until I'm a week late...so let's all pray I don't go 1 whole week and my water naturally breaks. I'm sick of being pregnant because lately I've been getting horrible charlie horses.

That is always a good thing when your child sleeps through the night. I just wish my 31 month old would sleep through the night every night. Some nights he will but not other nights, last night (midnight) he didn't want to sleep in his bed, I brought him in my bed got him to sleep put him in his bed then he woke up at 4:30 and came back to my bed. I just wish he would always sleep in his bed, it is hard to go in his room and pick him up or try to get him back to bed with the belly in the way.

Good luck with your son, hopefully he just needed this first night and now he will continue it.

I was just wondering do you stay up late or are there distractions like tv noise or lights that he can see. with my son I never had that problem but I had him on a strict schedule, i would get him in bed everyday at the same time and wake him up around the same time also. I never had him sleep with me either, so sleeping apart wasn't a problem.
