Hi!
My name is Amanda and I'm due on January 2, 2009. I am married and have a little boy who is 17 months old. Dylan was born Dec. 21st, 2006 after I was induced early because my doctor was going on vacation! This time I will definitely wait until my body is ready and hopefully this one won't make too early an appearance! Looks like the holidays will be full of celebrations in our house :) Wishing all you ladies a happy and healthy pregnancy!

Thursday, 12 June Hi; Thanks for the comment! Your son and my daughter share a birthday. She was born 12/21/04, also after an early induction. Her due date was 12/31, the same as my DD for this bean. :D When was your little guy originally due?
Anyhow; as for your question... my kids actually have all adjusted well to having new babies in the house. And really I wouldnt have it any other way because now that the baby is older and can play, they all have SO much fun together. They really keep each other entertained which helps a lot so I can get my mommy stuff done during the day. :) Best of luck!

Wednesday, 11 June Hi!
sorry I didn't go to the places where you are flying to ;-)
Santorini is great I guess! I was in Athens twice, but it is that long ago I don't remember very well haha.
Be careful with the water: drink only bottled water, not tap water and dont use icecubes (made from tap water). You might have a nice diarrea from that! Also the salads might be washed in tap water and only use ice which is wrapped. Just some tips to avoid sickness ;-) Take Norit with you, it is safe my doctor told me. But....I didn't have to use that because everything went OK ;-) Greece can be hot: take a hat/cap for shade and water with you on your trips ;-)
Wish you a great holiday! Hinde -

Tuesday, 10 June I wouldn't worry if I were you. They said not to eat pineapple becuz the citrus juice only in pineapple can cause contractions and a possible miscarriage. I was so sure it was nonsense. I ate the biggest bowl of pineapple two weeks ago. I'm doing just fine. I think it just causes too much unnecessary worry and stress on pregnant women. Have a great trip and enjoy!! Greece sounds like a beautiful place to visit. Hinde -
Tuesday, 10 June Hi I just came back from Greece and they told me that it was OK to use the Greek milk, yoghurt and feta. Most Greek milk products seem to be pasturized like ours do. I asked that to our travel agency ladies that visit our hotel daily and they live there since months. There were more pregnant ladies in our hotel which ate those products too... Or you might just ask a local doctor or pharmacy when you want to be absolutely sure?? They speak english ;-)
Have a nive holiday! flora -
Tuesday, 10 June Hi i think that women living in Greece eating feta, may have built up a natural immunity. I personally would keep off it, but there again Im not a feta monster.Flora panekbaby -
Monday, 9 June If there is something you want to eat. Go ahead and eat it. I've done a lot of research about foods. It's a lot of non sense. Unless you are at high risk eat whatever you want except shark, and big fish. Tuna is fine. Salmon and halibut is fine too. Lobster and shrimp. It's all good. Crystalpinkcoffeebean -
Wednesday, 4 June Thank you some times I do find it a little hard to pick him up depending what kind of postion the baby is in. But no matter what I will always pick him up lol. I am just afraid after I have my C-Section I wont be able to. I had a harder time picking him up when I was four months pregnant. Now that I am farther along the baby bump kinda helps me. I just cant carry him around for along time. I know what you mean I have been so tired with this pregnancy. Plus trying to take care of my son just exhaust me. Yeah I am getting really excited now that it is getting closer but it still seems like it is to far away csmith08 -

Monday, 2 June Hey! I was actually just talking to my dad about that drug (hes a doc) and he said that the b6 is just a marketing ploy, it doesnt do anything and you should just take an antihistamine instead. Also dont overdo it because I guess they havent done much for human studies, just mice:) haha anyways congrats, good luck and I hope you feel better:) margysd -
