24 January 2008

The other morning I woke up and my uterus had "floated" up and the top of it was sitting just even with my belly button. I could palpate my whole uterus it was like a rockmelon sitting there. It was weird but exciting. I was showing Andrew, my husband, and laughing about it. Now every morning when I wake up it is like this. But when I stand up it sinks back down abit into my pelvic cavity, and it sinks down even further when I get up and empty my bladder! Its still there about 3 inches below my belly button though.

Can't believe I'm at the end of 14 weeks, I'm just flying along and feel like I'll almost be half-way soon. I'm still wanting to eat sweet things, I did also when I had the morning sickness cos it made me feel better. But I still want to and my skin on my chin is pimply like a teenager, even if I cut out the sweets it doesn't help much. Oh well I'll just put up with it. It usually clears eventually. But by eating regularly, more sweet things than other I managed my morning sickness better this time.

Hi, I have been reading lots from this web page and everyone elses comments on the chat forum. I love it so I `m starting my own VIP page.I am already mum to 2 kids and 13 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby. I like this chat forum so much cos I havn `t announced my pregnancy yet. So I can still chat to others at the same stage of pregnancy as me without telling everyone.

Man. So when she does undesirable things do you punish her? Hubby does not tolerate a lot of follishness sometimes so she may be needing attention, but at the same time how do you let her know that, that type of behavor is not appropriate? I don't want to punish her for US neglecting her. That is not fair.

We were thinking of getting her a big sister gift for the birth so she does not feel left out of the birthing process and telling her it was from the baby. What do you think?

babesinaugust - Tuesday, 24 June
I was sick as a dog, I had the runs for two days...thought I was going into labour because of the cramps and then it stopped. Hubby and I had a little loving this morning we will see what happens. I had lots of BH last night and yesterday in the evening a few contractions....hopefully she is on her way. Being PG with two toddlers, is more tiring then having a little one and nursing. You body is so fatigued and restricted to what you can do..ugggg

THanks for the advise. I did do the castor oil with my second born. Me and my husband swore never ever to try that again!!!! But I did laugh when I saw the recommendation. But the accupunture is worth checking thanks.

I wanted to name my baby Rhiannon if its a girl, bf totally disagrees with that one though! so no Rhiannon for me....

Phonics - Friday, 20 June
Thanks!

We share custody 50/50. THAT is what I am afraid of. The baby being her target. I think that is a good idea. Speding and giving her time with us away from the baby so that she still feels special.

What do you mean by behavorial excalations?

I totally understand the whole house remodeling ....we have been doing it too...My hubby works day and night to make this place look perfect for our little girl thats on her way....Plus I am still waitressing and it is pretty rough being on my feet lifting trays of drinks and so on....Thank god next weekend is my last weekend.....Time to just focus on my pregnancy since im pretty much at the end...

Thank you for writing me about your renovations. When I wrote my last comment, I was feeling overwhelmed with everything, and I was really tired! I am feeling better after a visit with my family, and seeing how much hard work my husband is doing. I am not so much worried about early labour now either... I guess I just needed some time to get over it... you are right, the baby won't really know the difference!

MommyWonder - Sunday, 8 June
I've had the cleaning bug for a while, but it all goes to hell when my boyfriend's kids come to stay with us LOL. I still have another baby shower left so I'm sure once that's done I'll be really motivated to organize again.

Patito - Friday, 30 May
I know!! Some of them are just to much into themselves. There are so many girls that are not going to have a baby shower and they do not complain as much!!! HHAHAHAHAH. I hope you are having a nice pregnancy :)

brittany2178 - Thursday, 29 May
Lack of support as well.... im just down.my boyfriend has been great so far but now that i'm nearing the end, he doesnt want to help with anything cleaning, getting things set up for the baby... nothing. I dont get it I'm almost fully prepared for everything and he is still stressing out about her coming in nearly 8 weeks. I dont know I think I juat need a day to myself really. Just to relax and do what i want to do without interruption

lilmomzy - Thursday, 29 May
my thoughts exactly..it seems as if alot of the first time moms forget that one day when they are invited to a party they may have to or want to bring their baby with them...they probably wont understand until they are on the opposite side of the table :)

peytonsmommy22 - Monday, 26 May
Hey. Thank you. I try to remember that, but it takes a little bit of activity for our heart rate to jump 30 beats more a minute. Unless he's doing arobics in there, which sometimes it feels like it. =) Congrats and Good Luck!

ChristineA - Monday, 19 May
Hey there, luckily for me my symptoms are very mild so far. I just have to be very careful when getting in and out of bed and when rolling over. When I do get pains it is in the birth canal area. I think I will get myself a little bench to get up into bed where our bed is hip height. I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well!

Mommad - Monday, 19 May
I have SPD too. I never had this with my first. It started at about week 24. It's terrible. I went to the dr crying one day b/c I couldn't even walk. He gave me some vicoden and told me to take it just when I absolutley need it. How was delivery with this with your other babies? I can't spread my legs without being in dying pain so I have no idea how im going to spread them to push the baby out! i guess i could discuss other birthing positions with the dr when i go this friday.

momof2oneonway! - Friday, 9 May
Congrats! on your little girl. Like you I am very excited, but this will be our first girl :)

Nezbit - Thursday, 8 May
I would have asked, but they seemed so stress. I have never been in an office with so many doctors and so much going on. I know for next time i will ask if I have to.

momof2oneonway! - Sunday, 4 May
Thank you for the venous lakes info I am not sure I guess maybe the doctor doesn't know. He said he never delivered anyone with this problem. thanks again and I am going to get a second answer from another doctor.

momof2oneonway! - Sunday, 4 May
i was reading your blog about the peliv swollen and presure, well if this helps I have been getting that too and just seen my doctor on friday and he said it was vigina veins and nothing to worry about, also long as the swollen area is in one spot and not blothes. what are you having? you said this is your thrid baby, Mine too. I have two boys and she'll be a girl :) Congrats and take care :)

mjeans - Monday, 28 April
Yes, I too have been having the most vivid dreams lately...they vary from super bizarre to absolute horror...and they are all in color...apparently quite normal for us preggers, but still, as if we weren't busy enough during our days, now our nights are filled with strange 'adventures'!
