Im 23 years old, I come from London, England but moved to Birmingham in 2004, I have 2 children from a previous relationship, my daughter is 5 and my son is 3, I spilt up with their dad in 2005 after being together 4 years and got with my current partner in 2005 and in Jan 2006 we got engaged not long after i fell pregnant round April time 2006 but had a miscarriage at about 9 weeks, then 4th October 2007 I found out i was pregnant and everything has gone great so far, this will be my partners first baby, im due 28th May 2008, found out on the 20 week scan we are having a boy, so he is really excited coz thats what he was hoping for, we are hoping to get married in August 2009.

My Pregnancy Story

On 4th October 2007 i done a pregnancy test and found out i was pregnant, my fiance couldnt believe it as he didnt think i was pregnant but i had a funny feeling i was and when the test results were positive we were both overjoyed.

The next day we went to see the doctor who confirmed i was pregnant and we had our first midwife appointment on 30th October she came to see me at home she also had to fill in my pregnancy notes before i had my hospital appointment which was 5th November we got to see our baby for the first time on the scan, and we were really happy to find out everything was alright with the baby after what happened the year before, had to have blood test while i was there, the results came back that i didnt have enough iron so gotta take iron tablets.

13th December had a screening test done to find out if i would have Downs Syndrome or neural tube defects baby, the results came back fine which we were happy about.

I started to feel the baby kick in January 2008 sometime cant remember the date, once my fiance knew the baby started kicking he couldnt leave my belly alone and liked to wake the baby up..lol

Then on 14th January 2008 we went to the hospital again for our 20 week scan found out everything is fine with the baby which we were really happy about, my fiance's faced dropped when we got told at first they thought i was pregnant with a GIRL, not long after we got told i aint pregnant with a girl its a BOY as the baby opened his legs and showed what sex he was, my fiance's face lit up when we got told it was a BOY, i didnt mind what i was having as long as i have a healthy baby, my daughter wanted a sister but my fiance and my son wanted a son/brother, have been told ive got a awkward baby as he wouldnt keep still to have a scan picture taken, but i finally got a picture after i had to lay on my side.

Had a midwife appointment on 7th February 2008, everything is fine which is good, heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time but got told again by my midwife that ive got an awkward baby as he wouldnt keep still for her to check the heartbeat everytime she found it i got kicked and he kept moving, his not even born yet and already loves playing games.

13th March 2008 had to go and see the midwife for a check-up and had to have my 28 week bloods taken, my midwife had a good feel of my bump and got told the baby is breech at the moment but everything is fine with him, my baby was as good as gold for the midwife this time letting her check the heartbeat, I aint bothered at the moment about him being breech because he still has got 11 weeks to turn, so still plenty of time.
