Oscar Joseph was born on 19-09-08, With spina bifida, that was un-detected, He had an operation at 4 days old to close his spinal cord and is now recovering very well. We are unsure as to wether he will be able to walk, talk or feed himself it all depends on how he develops, but we love him dearly and wouldnt change him for the world, he is our special little boy and we feel blessed to be given him.
If anyone has any information on spina bifida feel free to message me as we are still learning about this disability and would find any information, or other peoples stories really really helpfull.
Fingers crossed for our little Oscar!

Hey there, i hope you and Oscar are both doing ok and that your family is well. He is such a beautiful little boy!!
Aidans heal prick test come back. I got a phone call saying that he has a genetic gene for cystic fibrosis. He has to have a sweat test done to see if he has the other genetic marker. He is such a beautiful baby... i love him soooo much! I'll let you know how we go. Good luck with little Oscar. Take care!

Hi everyone! Thanks 2 those who congratulated me! Sorry I can't reply individually - it's difficult on a phone, but I do appreciate all ur messages!
The baby's due 6th July 2009 but I'm prepared for a due date change after the 1st scan - shouldn't change by much tho. So I'm 4 weeks pregnant on Monday! We're very excited - and shocked! Took us 2 days of trying to get pregnant, how mental is that!
Love 2 everyone and their bumps and babies! And good luck 2 all of u trying to conceive and also to those about to pop! Keep the comments coming, will get Internet soon!
