Me and my Fiance have 1 handsome little boy and are on our second baby (who is going to be a surprise). Our first baby was a surprise, and although this one was planned we want some type of surprise since this will be the last. We only tried once!! Crazy, right? I found out I was pregnant when i was about a week, because I already started to get milk.

I have epilepsy and a hard time keeping my first in. I stayed in different hospitals on several different occasions, was bed ridden, and on breathine ( not sure about the spelling on that one) pills every 4-6 hours for a long time. I have to take meds considered catagory c i believe which could cause problems. So I am considered High risk. On the positive side I get sonograms done atleast once a month.

SO FAR EVERYTHING IS GOING PERFECT!!!!!!!

Got a sonogram today!!! My baby is already 7 oz and almost 10 inches. Sounds big compared to this sites info. The feet measure 1 inch and are soooo cute!!!!!

Got another sono today. I went to the specialist and now i have the exact weight and length. 9 oz 10 in. Evrything is great so i don't have to go back for another 10 weeks.

I have so much work to do today. Me and my fiance bought a house last july and there is still so much work we want to get done. We have done alot considering it has only been about 6 months since we moved in. My new goal is to get my sons room done before his b-day on 3/18. The room he has now is turning into the nursery and he is getting the larger room down the hall. So today im working on cleaning his new room out . It became a storage room for a while. yikes!! Im turning it into a race car bedroom. I've already designed it now i just have to make it come to life. I just want the kids rooms redone by the time the baby comes. I think i'm going to have to hold off on the wood floors for now though. Money has been pretty tight. I'll atleast get the painting done. My son is getting a road painted along the bottom of the wall, trees, grass, the sky w/ clouds, race car flags. It's hard to explain but i will post pics. i'm also taking down his closet doors, my husband is making cubby holes for the bottom of his closet, and i'm making a curtain for the top half of his closet so you don't see the clothes hanging or the closet shelf but the cubby will be accessible. Me and my husband do basically all the work. I do have to have someone come in and fix the heat in that room though, and unfortunatly we don't know how to put wood flooring in. Hopfully the heat wont be expensive. I know the wood will be which is why i'll probably have to wait a long time for that.

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Well, still haven't gotten everything. Need to get more things for the nursery until it's actually finished. Since we have hardwoods, we need an area rug for in front of the crib. Still need some wall decorations and a glider or some kind of furniture. So far all there is in there is the crib and the changing table and that room is HUGE!! I'm also planning on getting a nice jungle type plant to put in the corner or something. Thought that would be a neat touch. As for necessities, we still need a bouncy chair, some spit up rags, pretty small things. I did finally pick up an ear thermometer last night and some other small things we needed. I can't wait to get that check from the government, I think we should get ours around the middle of May. Totally awesome. What was great about that room we're using as the nursery is it was already painted a great color for the theme we are going with. My MIL is going to make us some curtains so guess that's one thing we don't need to buy. I know what you mean about the energy crap and having so much to do but not enough time! I feel like that every day!! Hope you get some energy and time to get things done soon!

I'm thinking about having my baby w/o meds...my fiance doesn't think I can handle it. I want to be alert when the baby is born and I don't want to be stuck in bed the whole time. Everyone I know that has kids had meds so I don't really know what to expect as far as pain.

thank for the message. she had been doing that for the past month but for the last 2 night i've been sleeping like a baby and thats why i got confuce and a little scare. you know how it is and specialy in my case; 3 of my cousings have lost their baby and my sister in law, so is like thats always in my mind but i had my 4 year old play a little with the belly and she started moving again this morning after i post the message. good luck to us and hope that they do start sleeping at nigt after been born.

Most babies are turned the right way by 32 weeks. The doctor probably won't worry about it too much until 36 or 37 weeks, so you've still got a while to go. :-)

prego1018 - Sunday, 24 Feb
I'm pretty sure my kid is still flipping around in there. Sometimes I feel kicks up near my ribs, and other times super low. I'm sure it's a good thing your baby isn't getting into delivery position just yet!

Rozzipozzi - Sunday, 24 Feb
with a second baby it can take up til like 37 or 38 weeks for the baby to finally make its mind up of what position its going to be in for birth so dont worry too soon!!

Rozzipozzi - Thursday, 21 Feb
hey thanks for your comment. hope your keeping well

oh ok so laying on your back doesn't really affect the baby? i am still going to try to stay off my back but now i won't be as worried if i keep finding myself laying on my back.

did you have a lot of contractions with your first? what do they do to help keep the baby in longer? i'm getting a little concerned. yesterday i had a huge spell of contractions, all day long....i didn't call the midwife until today, and she was kind of upset that i took so long to call. i don't know why i'm having them so much, and i don't know how to stop them. the good thing is the baby is doing super great and is really active. i wish my body wanted to support it longer! anyway. i hope you and your baby are doing well. let me know what you think! thanks! xo

Yes we found out at our 20 week scan that we are having a baby boy! My husband is very excited and me, all I want is a healthy baby. Are you going to wait until the birth to find out?

nursemom2b - Saturday, 9 Feb

pixiekate - Saturday, 9 Feb

mom@thebeach - Friday, 8 Feb
Thank you for the response. Later I started to feel her move again, what a relief. It's funny how everything has the ability to get us worried!

erica93 - Friday, 8 Feb
Sure, we do it every thursday night at 7:30 EST time. I usually put a reminder up on that day...

emily1 - Friday, 8 Feb
well i went and my scan from 1 in 10000 for downs or the other things changed to 1 in 1500 because of those soft marks. so i desided to do the amnio. i did it all yesterday. so i am waiting for the call on monday to get the results for try 13 and 18 and downs. and than 7 days from monday they can tell me if there are anyother gene defects.
she looks great to me, haha... but you never know what they genes say...
lets pray and hope.
how about you...??? whats new?
i started having heartburn every night now.. 3 nights alreadt... other than that i am doing great.

Myprogster - Thursday, 7 Feb
My babies heart rate has been anywhere between 130 and 150 for the past few months and the dr says that's perfectly normal. Normal fetal heartrate is btwn 120 and 160. So you are fine! I wouldn't worry about it all! :)
