One more week of work! I cant wait, i'm exhausted and so tired of sitting in the same spot for 8 hours a day! Its unbearable. Yesterday my co-workers suprised me with a mini baby shower. It was so unexpected and wonderful. They collected so much money between them all and came up with the most wonderful gifts. One lady even hand made a little track suit for the baby with our company logo on it. I cant wait for the day i bring him in for a visit, he will have to wear his uniform. LOL. I am really going to miss these guys so much, an entire year without them will be hard.

Had my tour of the hospital today, its awsome! The birthing rooms are beautiful and so comfy looking. But now i'm more nervous about giving birth, its made it that much more real!

Had my baby shower yesterday. It went sooo well and i am so please with everything. I got so many much needed items. I am so thankful for my family and friends. My cousin threw my party, she is going to be Aidan's godmom and she did such an exellent job. They made a 3 tier (fake) cake out of diapers, it was amazing, i will have to post a picture of it in the next few days! I got just about everything i asked for and MORE!! few things my work is going to get me, but the rest of it i will be excited to go shopping!!

So, i just found out my moms best friend who has been in out family for 10+ years cannot make it to my baby shower on sunday. Her sister had leg surgery for the 2nd time and is refusing to go to rehab and needs someone there to help her with her kids and hubby has dissapered. Im not mad that she cant come because family comes first, i'm just devistated that she cant be there with me. She is coming to my work at lunch today to see me and i know she feels sooo bad about not being able to make it, and i know i'm going to cry when i see her because i'm at that stage now where most emotional things make me upset, and thats only going to make her feel worse.. Urgh, what a crappy weekend for her sister to decide not to rehabilitate her leg! But i am happy she is home with her kids, so something good comes out of it.

Had doctors appt today, everything is just fine. Aidan is head down now and messuring big, doctor is not concerned tho. The only thing she worries about is my weight gain. 43lbs so far, shes not very pleased with that. Blood tests came back, everything is better then perfect, although my immunity for rubella has wore off, and we seem to have a small epidemic of it going around. Cant get a shot until the baby is born..
Aidan had the hiccups for the first time yesterday, they lasted for such a long time i felt so bad for him.

Week 33 and 1 day. Im so tired and have been for the last week! I sleep enough, although it is painful. I'm also having some bad sciatic pain today, and some hip and pelvis pain that i have not experienced yet. Maybe baby is lowering or is now head down. Doctors appointment on wednesday will tell me forsure.

i had fun, but it was realllly hot. and the reflection off of the pool made it worse. i already had tons of bath stuff, and of course, i got more. but the funny thing is, is i dont have ANY shampoo except for the little sample bottles. i counted it out..i have 9 bottles of lotion, 6 bottles of wash, and 4 bottles of powder..and 2 bottles of foam wash. but NO shampoo!! what is this?! hahh.

i know what u mean about the reaching lol, i dont have that much of a sex drive i just want it but never try to get it knowin i could i sleep naked everynight and he messes with me but i just go to sleep, lol that kinda sounds bad but hell i be tired. and i think i would probably have a different look on sex too after a while, probably be like omg i need a man right about now lol. my homegirl said she would get one of her homegirls to just put on a strap on and let her have it but no touchin cuz she's not into girls lol she saysat least she wouldnt be havin sex with a guy and wouldnt have to worry bout anything lol she's crazy

OMG 7 1/2 months KUDOS to u but i understand not havin sex with anyone else i wouldnt either i would feel uncomfortable and just wrong... i wouldnt even be aroused, unless they had that special smell that ppl use to seduce others lol but wow thats a long time i would have to buy some toys or somethin lol. yeah i heard sex was good for ya vagina during pregnancy. my bf's aunt told us that she had sex sex and a whole bunch of sex before she had her kids and never got an epidural. i think im gonna get the epidural cuz i dont think i can take the pain right about now. but last night was maybe the 3rd or possibly 4th time this month that me and my bf had sex. its not like us to go that long but the farther ive gotten the less sex we've had, im always tired. i work from 7 45 am til 5 15 pm and usually he's at work when i get off and doesnt get in til maybe after 9 30 ,10 or 11 depending on his work schedule, so im pretty much like ahhhh bed time by then but i never actually go to sleep until like 12 somethin.

That's awesome that you're getting tons of help! I found an awesome 2nd hand baby store down the street from where I live. It's called Once Upon A Child. It's totally awesome. We got a great jogging stoller there for $150, brand new in the box, and it came with the car seat adapter so you can just hook the car seat right up to it! Got some swaddles too. My first son loooved them so I figured why not try them with the 2nd. And they have tons of clothes there too. You could check out the website and see if they have any stores near you. My husband is wanting to get a few of those monkeys with the velcro hands. Since his mom is going to make us curtains, we'll get blinds to put up and then use the monkeys to tie back to curtains. At least that's what we plan on doing. Never even thought about hanging one from the plant! Great idea! Where we were living before, it only had 2 bedrooms and my sons room was a decent size but when we moved in to our new house, the rooms are huge and now all the furniture just looks sooo small! lol. That's awesome that your Mom bought you the blanket set. I wish we could get some more help buying things, or at least had a baby shower or something. Oh well, we went and bought almost everything that we need already. Except for all the nursery stuff.

Wooo, $300? I'll admit it was expensive but I got my Mom to pay for 1/2 of it. Anyway, I found it online for $180. Thanks though, I'm still working on the room. Since it's got hardwoods, I need an area rug to put by the crib and I'm still needing some more furniture. Either a glider or rocker or a dresser. Something to take up some space. That room is freaking HUGE! lol I'm gunna get a jungle type plant to put in the corner too. Thought that would be a nice touch. Anyway, thanks again!!!

Not my choice! I'd rather have him natural but can't due to complications. I dont dilate no more than 3cm. W/ my first I was in labor for 24hrs then my daughter and me started having complications and they had to do an emergency. I was really depressed after that cuz i didn't have her natural but I'm glad there was another choice or else we would of died! So this time i'm not taking any chances and I'm have a c-section.

your welcome. One reason they would suspect that is if you have cramping or contractions. Which is how i find out, iwas having contracttions because of dehydration and low fluids.

Your OB will know your fluids are low by doing an ultra sound. He uses your belly and divides it into 4 quadrants. So the upper left will be read as q1, lower left q2, lower right q3, and upper right q4. After that he adds those 4 numbers and if its below 25 its low and etc. Hope this helps.

Don't worry - I feel the same way about holding babies. Last weekend someone asked me to hold their 3 month old and i flat out said "no." Just makes me nervous. So you're not alone! I really feel like once I have this baby boy my life will change and my "mom" instincts will kick in. Hang in there!! Our nursery isn't finished either :)

Oh, I know! I can't imagine what my doc is gonna tell me tomorrow! I'm the same way though. If I eat a ton, I gain the weight and if I eat nothing, I gain the weight! What's a woman to do?!

I am so sorry for this comment but I'm so glad someone else has gained a lot of weight! I've gained 40 and thought it was horrible. Everyone else on here is like...omg I gained 20 pounds, I need to lay off the cookies. And THAT makes me feel so guilty! Thank God someone else is in the same boat! (Oh, and as for stretch marks, I get them really bad too. I feel like my stomach is so ugly!)

Hi! Thanks for the post. I am like you I almost dreed going to bed because I know how its gonna hurt when I wake up. About your stretch marks I have them so awful. I have tired all kinds of creams and I have put enough cocoa butter on me that I think I permently smell like the stuff which makes me sick at this point. With my last preganancy they did fade away but seemed like it took forever for them too...then all of sudden got pregnant again and seems like they have come back with a revenge...lol....Have a wonderful day!!!

I would ask about another Ultrasound, Most dr's do more then one throughout the pregnancy, If they opt not to do it, at least you can ask why. Good luck to you.
