Well im new to this site...my name's Porsha, im 19 and im pregnant with my second child. Im engaged to my boyfriend, whom I've been with since I was 13. Im due Sept. 19, it's actually the day after my first borns birthday...Sept. 18, 2003. Im 19 weeks pregnant and im kinda anxious about this pregnancy. My first, kayli was born at 25wks gestation and as i get closer to that mark i get more anxious about it... the doctor told me that it's normal for me to feel this way, but I dunno. My baby gurl went through sooo much and I can't just stand around and let that happen to another child. According to the doctors she wasnt even supposed to be here, and if she did she wouldnt be nowhere near functional. Well she FOOLED them!! She is too smart... and im soo greatful to have her.

she was born at 25 weeks gestation, September 18, 2003, but she wasnt due until January 7, 2004

April 28, 2007 i woke up early because i couldn't sleep, my back and hips were aching. i guess its from all that walking i did last night.. ive been trying to get my baby to move i guess he/she is sleeping...does any body have any suggestions??

April 30,2007 as i get closer and closer to the day that i gave birth to my daughter i get more nervous. i didnt even really have a labor with her. my back didnt hurt or nothing,,,I DIDNT KNOW I WAS IN LABOR,,, i had no signs all of a sudden i just started to leak fluid and i had a dull ache in my back. now when that started i immediately went to the hospital and when i got there i was already 5cm dialated...i couldn't have prevented it if i wanted to and thats what im scared of now... i never had a real labor and im TERRIFIED that im might go into labor again without knowing it, this is making me sick to my stomach....

May 1, 2007 Today was a fairly good today, the baby move a lot especially on my bladder when i had to go. Everything is cruising along great...

May 3, 2007 Last night I had to go to the hospital because I started bleeding....The doctors checked everything out and said that the baby was great...i was not having contractions and my cervix wasnt dialating THANK GOD!!. I asked the nurse if she could see what i was having and she said that it looked like a girl but she wasnt 100% sure...my mom and boyfriends convinced that they saw a lilttle ding a ling, i dont know... on my first babys sonogram you could see a slit in her vagina that's how we knew deffinitely that it was a gurl...and last night i dont recall seeing a slit, and the area didnt look fat enough for it to be a vagina...i dont know what do you all think..i find out for sure what im having on June 7 so I'll keep you all posted...and please pray that i wont end back up in the emergency room for anything else.....

May 7, 2007 Yesterday evening and today were fairly good me and my fiance mended on terms... the past couple of days we were at each others throat... yesterday i'd just had enough i was tired of arguing and fussing to where i was ready to be done with it all. I finally broke down and told him and actually cried my heart out to him and he actually heard me. I feel a lot better I guess all of that stress was starting to take a toll on me and this baby...Im finally just sooo happy we worked everything out...I LOVE YOU BOO!!

May 20, 2007 I havnt wrote in a while because I've been having some real complications with this pregnancy..for starters Ive been having contractions on and off for about 2 weeks, and then Saturday i had to be rushed by ambulance to another hospital thats an hour away for emergency surgery...i had to have my cervix stitched up because it started to open up...i was in the hospital for about a week and now im on bedrest...im soo miserable im not enjoying being pregnant at all!! I go back to the doctor on Friday so my doctor can see if my cervix is still trying to thin out....so please keep us in your prayers...i hope and pray that i'll be able to post some good news...

May 21, 2007 Today i feel pretty good...my baby gurl has been moving quit a bit this morning...i was beginning to worry b/c i've been on soo much pain medication that i was beginning to worry that they were starting to have an affect on her...i enjoy the thought of having anotha lil diva in my life but some days i wish for my body to just to be relieved of all this pain...im not sayin i dont wish i wasnt pregnant i just wish that i can enjoy being pregnant.Im confined to bascially a bed and a couch and thats very difficult in being that im one of those people who always wants to be on the go....

May 30, 2007 Today I went to the doctor for a sono and a check up...my baby gurl looks just like me and has her daddy's big ass lips...lol!! She had a strong heart beat in the 150's and she's starting to get chunky. My doctor said that my cervix still looked thick and it hadnt thinned out anymore (which is a VERYgood thing). She thinks that i should be able to get off of bedrest since everything is going great, and now since i do have a high risk pregnancy, instead of me going to the doctor every 4 weeks i have to go every 2 weeks for a doctor visit, ..but basically i have to go every week b/c i still have to get my weekly delalutin shots. Im also exactly 24wks today...which is kind of nerve racking b/c i will be 25 weeks next week and i was 25 weeks when i had my first daughter...my throat just tightens up thinking about that, IT'S SOO SCARY!! Oh yh, my boyfriend's-bestfriend-wife had their daughter yesterday evening and she's a preemie. Im not sure but i think she was about 30 something weeks gestation..the baby's doing real good, which is such a blessing b/c the first thing they tell you when you give birth to a preemie is that the first 3 days are very critical and that the babies are not clearly out the water until about a month later...so please keep this family in your prayers...i know everythings going good so far theres still a long road ahead...

May 31, 2007 I went to the doctor again today, the speacialist who performed my operation. He said that everything with my cervix and my baby looks good, but the only thing holding in my baby basically is a stitch and a prayer, so he prefered that i remain on bedrest until the end of my pregnancy. As far as my baby girl she is growing really fast, just to weeks ago she didnt even way a pound and now she's almost 2...1 POUND 9 OZ.'S to be exact...im soo excited but still somewhat optimistic

June 6, 2007 Today im 25 weeks...yay ive made it!! I dont feel as antsy about it like i did before, I just pray that God blesses me and this baby to where my body will still be able to hold this child in the upcoming weeks!!

JUNE 12, 2007 Today im 25wks and 7dys ...only 1 more day to go until im officially past the date of when i had my first born. <<>> Friday when i went to the doctor for my weekly delalutin shot, my doctor put me on a monitor to see if i was contracting because i had been had these stomach pains which i thought was cramping,(i dont really know what real cramping or contractions feel like), everything was fine though...my doctor also told me that since i have an INCOMPITENT CERVIX I WONT FEEL ANY CONTRACTIONS WHEN I DIALATE, but since i have these stitches in my cervix i'll definitely know when i go into actuall labor because i will bleed...from the stitches pulling apart<<< that's a lil' nerve relaxing to know !?!>>><<<>>> For the past couple of days i've been getting these weird cramp like sensations in the middle of my back, kind of like a muscle spasm, gasy like pains in my lower abdomen, a sharp shooting pain that goes from my right thigh and shoots up to my right buttox...i know, TMI right??? And it seems like my asthma is starting to get worser i cant breathe for nothing, i lose my breathe getting up, or rolling over to change sleeping positions at night... i know thats a lot hunh??i havnt even started with the indegestion, i cant eat anything with feeling like its stuck in my upper chest, i feel like im already running out of room for this baby to grow!!!

June 13, 2007 Well today ladies i finally made it im 26WEEKS, i cannot believe, so everything from here on out will be soo soo very new to me:) Honestly i dont think this baby has much more room to grow...i've had doctors tell me that she's going to be a BIGG BABY im like already,?, you think soo, i have to go back to shreveport to see my other doctor (the speacialist) and ima see how much she ways then<<>>my baby gurl weighed 1lb 9oz.,,big i know....lately especially during the day she hasnt been moving much, but at night it seems like my placenta becomes party central for her:):) well that''s all for now...until then GOD BLESS

June 18, 2007 Today i went to the hospital...yep again... i thought that my water was leaking, boy was i mistaken>>comes to find out i was just peeing on my self without knowing it>>>embarrassing hunh?!?

June 19, 2007 Today i had to drink that old nasty drink for my glucose test...everything came out good>>>ive gained 5 pounds. . . 20 pounds altogether, the babies heart beat was about 160 and everything looked really good. . .

June 21, 2007 Well i had to go back to Shre veport to see my speacialist. . . he said that everything looked good, but i need to take it easy for the next couple of weeks b/c the bigger the baby gets the more pressure she puts on my cervix. . . Abryanna weighed in at 2 lbs 4oz. at 27 weeks 2days.... i wonder how much she's going to weigh in two more weeks. . . i have to go back on the 5th...

June 25, 2007 well im almost 28 weeks and everythings been going okay for the most part at which i cant complain. . . I DONT KNOW IF MY BABY GIRLS LAZY, OR IF SHE SLEEPS ALOT AND MOVES AT NIGHT WHEN IM SLEEP, BUT SHE BARELY MOVES DURING THE DAY IS ANY ONE ELSE GOING THROUGH THIS??!!??

July 2, 2007 today i went to see my doctor and she said that everything looks great... i only have about 3 more delalutin shots to go( they stop them at 32weeks), she also said that i'll probably get my stitches taking out when im around 35 weeks (6 more weeks) and she also said that when i get the stitches taken out my baby can come anytime after that, so most likely my baby girl will be born at the end of August instead of September.

July 5, 2007 i went to go see my speacialist today in Lousiana, and he said that everything looked great. . . , the doctor said that it looked like i had extra amniotic fluid but that was okay and that the baby looked great!! she's starting to look like she's getting cramped;) it sure does feel like it . . . dr. lewis (the speacialist) wants to take my stictches out when i get around 36 or 37 weeks.... i dunno we'll see....i have to see him every 2 weeks now , i go back on the 19 so i'll fill you all in on how everythings going and how much she weighs.... i didnt get a weight this time

July 9, 2007 well today's been pretty good, yesterday i got quite a scare, i started having contractions and they were coming every minute or so, weird thing was that i didnt feel any of it...i went to the hospital because when i would walk it would hurt, so i went in so i could have my cerclage stitches checked...they put me on the monitor...(standard procedure) and BAM i was contracting, eventually they gave me a shot and sent me on my way since i was dialating and my stitches and my cervix felt fine...
