This is my first pregnancy, and my husband and I could't be happier. We are building a new home ( we should be in by May) so there are alot of big changes that are going to take place. We have been living with my in-laws for a year now, so as you all can guess I am ready to move out :)

I love being active, so my morning sickness has slowed me down a bit, but I know that soon I will be my old self again. I am not going to find out what I am having, I think that I will need something to focus on when the delivery comes.

Week 14 and feeling great. So glad that the morning sickness is over with. I am still really tired, but to be expected. I will not be having a ultrasound until May so I feeling a little left out from everyone else, but I am sure that everything will be O.K.

Week 17 - I can feel that I am pregant now - My Belly is starting to really pop out. Feeling good, though a little frustrated cause alot of my clothes no longer fits.

Week 20- I finally had my first ultrasound - wow that was amazing - we are waiting to find out the sex of the baby. The other most amazing thing is I can finally feel the baby moving inside. I am loving being pregnant :)

Week 22 - Well I have to go back for another ultrasound - they didn;t get a good enough picture of the babys heart so I get to see him/her again which is exciting. Starting to get a bit bigger - And the baby will not stop moving!! I think I am going to have one active baby..lol

Week 24

So my company will be blocking all sites not pertaining to buisness, so I will not be on very much now, as I do not have a computer at home. Take care everyone - and best of luck!!!

Week 26

I just got my second ultrasound results back - they could not see the baby's heart properly the first time - and everything came back perfect :)
I am so happy - the Good Lord is shinning on me thats for sure :)

Lol very true. My husband and I were going to do the classes until the lady told me they watch videos and that counted the hubby out lol.. Really all I want is to take some Lamaze classes but they don't have those so I ordered me some dvd's that teach it. I'm definately doing the epidural, I've known that before I got pregnant! Lol...

Yeah that's not funny, we already don't know what to expect and are scared. At least I know I am. I started watching A Baby Story and the first one I started having a panic attack when they showed the labor part. I don't know if I can handle all that lol but I know I have to. But I'm a huge titty baby lol... When people around here bring it up I change the subject. Are you doing any child birth classes?

Exactly!! I know that the stupid bag has to fit bottles and diapers and wipes and formula and clothes, I'm not retarded and I've seen the stupid things before lol... I wanted to hit them and cry at the same time ha ha...
We are only a day apart on due dates, I'm due on the 22nd. So far I've gained 13 pounds. It sounds like alot to me but I know it's really not.....

Thanks for the compliment... she's listening so far and waiting, but not patiently LOL Good news re: your doc visit. I'm sure you'll be feeling better having gained only 16 lbs then the poor girls who are already up 30 or more! I gained like crazy with my son and it took forever to get most (not all) of it off. This time around, I decided not to take everyone's advice to just give in to my cravings... Oh I've indulged in a few but with moderation in mind... I must confess, I am crazy for CocoPuffs!!! I read your post about weight gain. Granted I started out bigger than I would like to be, but I haven't gained a pound (actually I think I'm down about 3 lbs since my last doctors visit). As long as the baby's growth is measuring ave. or better, you shouldn't worry. Keep eating as healthy as you can and your baby will get what he/she needs. i haven't slept through the night in about 2 weeks now. i wake up at LEAST 5 times a night.. maybe 2 of those times are for bathroom stops. other than that, i just wake up for NO reason. it's so aggrevating. i also have lots of pillows and i get comfortable, but i just can't sleep. you think we'd be able to sleep now since we aren't going to be getting much sleep in a few months!

It's not a nosy question to ask about the cost of having a baby in the states. It really all depends on what kind of healthcare plan you are able to get. I have what is considered to be really great health insurance in the sense that I don't pay a penny at the Dr's office I have innumerable scans covered etc compared to some women who only get one, or three. But that plan costs my hubby about 400 a month out of his paycheck and he has a really good job as a dean at a university. It sounds crazy but we feel lucky for the insurance that we have even though it's really actually costing us a lot. Then there are others who don't pay out of the salaries for their insurance, but they pay a co pay every time they see their Dr for something. There are sooo many different health care plans in this country, it's really hard to say what it's costing. Lucky you with free healthcare!

Wow, you sure have done alot of work, we had a builder build for us, we custom designed our home and them put him to work. It was done in 3 months on the exact day he said it would be done and it is perfect! Hope you guys get your floors done soon, I know hardwood installation is hard work...LOL.

As for my pregnancy I am doing great! Not much to complain about except the heat the last few days...its like 35 outside and it sucks! I wish the lake was warm enough to go swimming :-(
I just starting feeling the baby kick about 4 days ago, I was worried it was taking so long but I am bigger to begin with so the doc says it is normal. It sure is a weird sensation and I cant find the words to describe the inside feeling to my guy. I say come hurry feel and then nothing,,I feel it and he doesnt..it sucks...LOL.
Anyway hope your doing well, I am going to go take a cool bath and try to b eat this heat! Take Care

Hello there. I am glad to hear the heartburn is getting better. Also thatk you for clarifying the farenheit/ celcius thing. I am not sure why the time off thing is so different. I will take the time and then I will decide What I will do after the fact. I am not sure what I want to do yet. I am a customer service representative at a bank. I had an US yesterday to check my little man's heart and spine again and everything is great. It is definitly a boy (I made sure to check again). I have to run and do some more work around here. Hey sweetie. How is your heartburn? LOL I am kidding. I am at work today and it sucks. When you said it was 10 Degrees there is that in celcius or farenheight? I live in the US. Massachusetts to be exact. It was like 80 degrees farenheight here yesterday. I am going to be working till the day I have the baby. I did that with my other son and I will do it again. I can not wait to be off either. Here I will only get 10 weeks depending on how long the doctor wants me to be out. Then I will go back to work part time. I will only work three days. I have to run. I did not take them at all with the first and I probably will not this time either. Before I had my first son I was a black belt in martial arts and they taught us a lot of meditation and breathing so I did not have the need to take them. I am so excited for you. Congratulations on the new house. You must be ecstatic. I just got back from the Zoo with my son. We had a good time. It is very warm here today so we did not stay too long. Hey hon! How are you doing? I am doing good. I am so happt that I have a three day weekend this weekend. It will be nice to relax and get some stuff done around the house. I hear you about the work thing. I want some time off so bad. I am all caught up at work now and my trainee is on her own. Yup we only have 18 Weeks left. That is not a lot of time. I have so much to do and get. I know what you mean about the summer being busy but, this year most of the parties will be at my house so it will be nice to be able to stay home. This is our first summer in our house. We moved into the house in September. So it ought to be nice. My cold is doing ok. I am still all stuffed up but I will be all right. I hope all is well with you and I will TTYL.

i hope everything goes well for u on your ultrasound, I was really nervous when i went in for my big one.
I can imagine how excited you are with the new house, we moved in last july but there is still changes I want to make, the nursery and alot of stuff in the garden that needs to be done. I am looking forward to that when i return from my vacation. You dont want to know how much stuff i bought being over here, most of it is pink, I just could not resist. so now we have to ship 2 boxes home lol. I cant wait till our babies are here, the next 4 months are gonna be sooo long.

I am feeling ok considering I now have a cold. I can not stand it. My little one does not stop moving either. It is so cool. I can not wait to have him and be able to hold him. Only 18 weeks three days to go and he will be here. Time is flying here. Crazy. Well I hope all is good and I will TTYL.
