Sad, that would have been much better than the lonely walks around my neighborhood. And I bet Cali is less humid than GA. It's a damn sauna around here. I am thinking of taking 8 weeks. I'm gonna feel it out when the time comes, but I will only get paid at 60% after 6 weeks. Which sucks. U? I am so lucky that my hubby is going to watch the baby when I go back though so it will be a great time for him to be Mr. Mom. I think I am going to join Weight Watchers...like as I drive out of the parking lot of the hospital!

Me too! And it seems like my husband is even more of a blanket hog than usual. I used to enjoy my body pillow, but even that isn't helping now. It feels like I am flipping a cow over each time I turn. I am so ready to have control of my body again. We have to keep in touch so you can motivate me to lose weight. :)

I'm not on bed rest right now but I'm not doing anything other than laying around in bed either. I don't teach in the summer so I've had the whole thing off. I took a class but just being on my feet that much caused such awful swelling I can't imagine how you must be feeling working all day and dealing with the heat! You're tougher than me! I'd be crying right now if I had to get dressed and go to work--especially now that I don't fit in most of my maternity tops anymore:) It'll all be over soon!

Hey there, just wanted to see how you're doing. It feels like such a long time ago we were dealing with all that cpc drama and now look where we are! Just a few more weeks and our little angels will be here! Your nursery looks lovely and I'm sure little Gracie will love it--I actually have to get off my tush and go finish Sebastian's room today. Given my prone position, and the ice packs and pillows currently wedged around me, I don't know if I'll be doing that or not:)

That's awesome! She will be so beautiful and I like meaty babies! It sounds on the big side, but I was running a little over 4 pounds at 30 weeks, so I bet I am right there with you. We just have motivated babies! :)

WOW 5pounds already.i think that is big but it is good that means the baby is getting what he/she needs. how ever since the books say the baby will gain about a 1/2 a puond a week you sould hope you don't have this little one late. my little girl is just that little i went las t week and she was only 3 pounds 14 oz. but when she moves she feels a lot bigger. good luck and heres to healthy happy babies....and painless labor haha

I am good..definitely feeling huge! We want her here so bad now that we have gotten everything we need. I still need to wash and sterilize stuff, though. I am so excited for your ultrasound...post pics! It is so neat now that they look like us, kinda! :O)

I eat a bottle of tums a week. LOL. I am now trying gaviscon. Its really nasty but works for about 10 minutes before I feel the need to eat another. I kinda think I may have an ear infection. I think thats whats making my throat hurt. =(

Hey Nickee..I saw your belly pic too cute! Looks like you and I are in the same boat. I too have gained 40 lbs but it's all worth it. I started walking 2 miles last week and plan to keep it up as long as my body let's me. I feel myself getting used to it! I turn 32 weeks on Thursday I'm so excited. I can't beleive we've made it this far! As always wishing both you and the baby the best. Take care and kit!

I know I hear that, it seems like not to long ago we were waiting to hit the 12 weeks so we would be in the SAFE zone. I am so ready to meet the baby, it is just so exciting!!
