Hi there Nickee...how's it going? Your tummy looks so cute! I'm not showing too much but I feel enormous! I've gained 9.5 lbs now and just started walking yesterday! I plan on doing it about 5 times out of the week of course if Im not exhausted! So have you chosen a name for your little princess? My little Alyssa moves so much it is amazing! Well I wish you the best and I will continue to keep in touch!

True, I know I will be eating my words when she won't settle in just a few weeks. My friend is pregnant with twins so she feels everything way more than me. Which I am grateful for since she has to sleep in a chair and can't wear her shoes or rings. But...the fun stuff, like having my hubby feel her, makes me jealous of her. I do feel bubbly around the same time every night, so I bet that is her saying hi! :)

My fav of AJ's is his wedding ring also. We got married in Vegas so he couldn't get money and dice with my name. :) I dont have plans to get any more, but who knows. I didnt really plan on getting these two! Have you been feeling Gracie? I wish I felt Mac more, I just dont know if I have really felt her. I worry about it sometimes.

Hopefully she wont come out a boy by some crazy accident! Aj's is a pink pacifer with her name on a ribbon around it right above his ankle bone. He doesnt have much room anywhere else...his sleeves are done too and who knows what on his back/chest. Eventually we want her to write on him in marker in her crazy kid handwriting and get that tattooed. Do you have any? I have our wedding ring and a puzzle piece with my best friend on my foot.

It would be great news! But, I also read (I really need to get a grip) that people can live their whole lives with these things. We all probably have them! Yeah, AFP sounds right; I think thats what we had! I totally think you and I have nothing to worry about, everything but that one dumb thing came back awesome. Our baby's brains are just growing so fast that they need cushion...they'll be geniuses! I think we are only hearing the heartbeat next week, which is fun, but I LOVE getting pics! I'm at work and so bored! Everyone is sick of talking about baby stuff, so yah, I was excited to see you wrote back!

The 4Ds will get more "babylike" later when they have more fat. My next appt is next Wed, the 7th. Did you have bloodwork done after they found the cysts? I dont know what tests they did on the blood, but they were able to calm my nerves by saying everything looked good. This appt coming up next week will be the first one since we found out about them originally, so I'll let you know what they tell me. Sorry I always write so much, I'm a school teacher so I am wordy. haha

I couldn't agree more! You took words out of my mouth. My doctor even said, "I wish I didnt have to tell you this b/c years ago I wouldnt have." There is so much PC stuff now. I mean I want to be in the know, but sometimes I wonder if full disclosure is good for a new mom! She always tells me, "Get off the internet, you know too much!" I am so excited for you to get your 4Ds! Have you guys done it yet? We did it once for just a few photos, and they are SO COOL! Know that she will look really skinny (almost to an odd degree), but that it is so neat to see her little fists and biceps! My profile pic is a 4D from I think 13 weeks or so. By the way, check out the similarities of our hubbies! (tats, stature) Too funny!

Hi Nickee. I honestly don't know what to say except you and your baby will be in our prayers. We don't do much tests here coz we're not allowed to terminate or abort any pregnancy. Doctors don't recommend testing much unless you really, really insist. I do hope however that the cysts will go away after a couple more weeks and you and your baby will feel fine.

That's great, Nickee. I completely understand. I hate that you and your hubby have had to worry. But, I honestly was refreshed to know I wasn't alone. Although I, of course, wouldn't wish the stress on anyone. The silver lining of the CPCs is we get lots of photos our beautiful little girls! Let me know how tomorrow goes.

Hi Nickee! I just wanted to post to you because I am in the exact same situation. Our baby girl has two cysts, one on either side of her brain. I have done some research and the CPCs are pretty common in the early weeks. They go away later on, and do not inhibit the growth of the baby at all. We have chosen not to do the amino. My best friend's baby had some markers also and she did choose an amino. When everything came back negative, she was able to feel better and not worry and now has a perfect baby boy. I support you either way, but I did want to let you know that the cysts are not something to worry about if everything else is coming back normal. Let me know what you decide, and I will be thinking of you!

hi the risk of a loss after a anmio is 1 in 100 to 150. my dr told me this when i was having the screening done. i have read a lot of women get them done on here and they are just fine after. when are you having your test done? it is a tough decision.

Hi hun, you are faced with a very difficult decition & it cant be easy for either of you. my bf & I agreed before we got pregnant that if anything was slightly abnormal we would have tests. we made this decition before we got preggers as we knew it would be impossible to decide later. i was lucky at 35 all was well. but i would have the test as you wana enjoy this pregnancy & i would imagine this will plague you for the entire pregnancy if not & you are being a responsible parent. have a look on www.babycentre.co.uk/pregnancy/antenatalhealth/testsandcare/amnio/ this will give you good advise on the risk. my friend is 43, was loosing her mother & lost loads of weight during her pregnancy, had high risk so had a CVS which is more invasive with alot higher risks, test was fine, so was she and baby who is beautiful in everyway. my thoughts are with you anyway hun. god bless you xxxxxxxxxxx

Hello Nickee and baby, I too had to choose wether or not to do the amnio or not when i was pregnant with my first son. That was 10 yrs ago after i had a high blood protien level (down dyndrom, neoro-def,exct.). I already had 2 micarriges and didn't want to risk this pregnancy. I put the amnio off for 2 weeks and thought about it alot, It was a very stressful 2 weeks. Then i remembered when the dr.'s said if there was something rong they could be ready for it when he was born, not to mention the unknown the rest of the 5 months of pragnancy. Anyway I ended up doing it and Thank God everything went okay...Nicke hubby and baby u r all in my prayers

Gosh thats a tough decision to have to make, no matter how anyone advises you, the final decision is ultimatley up to you. I honestly dont know what I would do if I were in your situation. I wish the best for you and your baby girl. I too have heard of a lot of false positives with those tests, I guess it ultimatley comes down to you have to make a decision that YOU are comfortable with. Best Wishes. Keep us posted!

Generally amnio has a mc rate of 1/200 (.5%) but you should check with the hospital that is doing it as they may have their own stats from their own doctors which is the most important. Good Luck, I am sure everything will be fine. I have heard that those cysts are quite common amongst normal babies.
