Hello All!!!

9/28/08 Update:So my bf and I finally told our families about 3 weeks ago, his mom was in a serious car accident and we couldn't imagine her "leaving us" and never knowing!! So we told everyone and they handled a lot better than we thought they would. They were mostly surprised that we waited this long to say something but I felt so much better and now everyone is scrambling to buy things and plan a shower :-) I'm so happy b/c I can finally really enjoy this pregnancy!

I turn 19 in December, which is very close to my DD! Eventhough I am young and this pregnancy was very very unexpected LOL! I am although trying to embrace it and be very happy about it! My boyfriend is very calm about it as to not stress me out! HA! But he is excited as well. I know my parents and his will be a bit disappointed. But he's 21 and we're both adults. I'm still going to be in college and pursuing my major, so I am very excited!

Listen Ladies.. Whats this site really for? To encourage, answer what we know to other ladies? Or to play favorites?? Or even be racist? I dont like putting up POLL NAMES because really whats its there for is to help us decided on names.. I have my names picked out the way I want them to be spelled for certain reasons so really your voting on what we put not to put ur suggestions on how to spell the names.. thats if only I or the person who is doing the poll ASKS? Right? I do get REALLY OFFENDED when the ladies on here do that.. its like if you dont like how I spell it then dont comment or leave your suggestion. Just vote on the options you have... its that easy.. Ugh, Im sick of it. Especially when some one puts a belly pic with the week they are in.. and someone comments saying 'Wow you are BIG for ___ week!' I would just say You look very cute, or something you know so you wont offend the person.. IDK, My poll got deleted and I dont like ladies on the site who act really rude and when you want to say something back thats on your mind you cant cuz either the poll gets deleted or the profile.. So stop being like that.. I sometimes ask questions on here and I would like someone to take the time to answer them to help me out.. instead of ignoring it and talking about something esle.. making my question go to the next page... I still have a lot more to say but Im just going to end it for now! Thanks for taking the time to read this..

I noticed that you said that you had broken out in a rash. I had that also w/ my son for no reason and found out that it is called pupps. It's a common pregnancy rash that has no cure except to have your baby. Very annoying I know. They may have something out on the market now since it's been a year and a half since I've had it. Hope you can find something if that's what it is! Sarah

I agree with ellie. In order to get the 12 weeks off with FMLA you need to be employed there for at least a year before becoming pregnant and taking time off. If not FMLA doesn't cover you. I only get short term disability from my company until my dr. says it's okay to go back because I won't make a year here until February! Goodluck.....

On your FMLA, your better off talking to someone in HR - above and beyond your manager (because chances are, they don't know what all you're eligible for.) My company pays me for disability under FMLA, but only as long as my doctor says I can be out, which is generall 6 to 8 weeks. After that, my leave is unpaid - but I'm still going to take it to be with my bubby.
