I went for my ultra sound at week 17 and found out it was a boy. Really it depends on the technology and how clear the picture is , you can find out VERY early in pregnancy! :) Generally its easier to tell boy from girl though, cuz if he has a little thing stickin out, then he is most likely aboy, sometimes they mistake girls though cuz some boys take longer to grow, but in your case im sure it is a boy ;) congrats

 my friend was 14 weeks when she found out hers is a boy. i think if they are boys you can tell sooner if the angle is right because it sticks out a little. mine is a girl and all you could see were 3 little lines

Hi, I'm reading your post on 26 weeks, and I'd say a 15 week scan might be too soon to be really certain it's a boy, but it depends what the technician saw on the scan. I had a 13 week scan with my second pregnancy and the tech said 'boy" - he's waving it around proudly! And she was right!

Well, more often it is girls they predict wrong that end up being boys.... boys are usually pretty obvious, early on.... girls are a little more difficult because not everything is quite developed and they could be hiding stuff, I saw my friend's u/s around 14 weeks and it looked just like yours and she is having a boy! It was confirmed again around week 20. :) Congrats!

 it looks 100% boy to me, but still dont go ahead and buy all boy stuff, wait until you re-confirm the sex when u have level 2 U/S at around 20 wks :) All the best dear and congratulations on ur lil boy
