Friday, 5 Oct Hi I just wanted to tell you I have the same problem with my two dogs. One I have had for a year in a half and when I got pregnant She started jumping around and just beinng a goof, Before I even knew I was pregnant. And just latly my 8 month old pup, house trained and every thing has been out of control, and I noticed she wasnt eatting any more so I sat on the floor for and hour with her feeding her out of my hand now thats the only way she will eat or drink is if I'm next to her 24/7. Oh and she's a friendly nice dog and loves people and other dogs but last month every time a dog or person would get close to me she freaks out. I cant take her any where, but when my husband takes her out she normal again. Dogs are so weird. jennamaye -

Thursday, 4 Oct This is not professional advice but personal. I have a 3 year daughter and I breastfed and I got a massage and was told that when you get a massage it releases the toxins from your muscles and it is ok while breastfeeding but you just have to drink lots of water afterwards to flush it out of your bloodstream. Alot of things apply the same when breastfeeding as they do when pregnant. So just drink alot of water. mia -
Thursday, 4 Oct Hey I worry too since it's my first and I don't know what to expect. I try not to let it get to me too much though because chances are everything is okay and worrying and stress isn't good for the baby. moniquetahisha -
Thursday, 4 Oct i am so paranoid i refuse to buy any baby stuff until he or she actually gets here and i know that it's real... even when i feel movement i convince myself i'm probably mistaken... and i actually did go so far as buying a stethoscope, although on the package it says it doesn't pick up the baby's heart beat until abou 21-28 weeks, and i'm barely 19.... it's really awful but i feel like i need constant reassurance... my next ultrasound isn't until next week but i wish i could have one everyday! also, your comment about the dog, mine have actually become extra needy and lovey. I have 3 dogs and 2 of them actually like to curl right up next to my belly! i feel like they're already being protective of the baby! I think animals can definately sense there's something going on.... mountainmomma -
Thursday, 4 Oct I am pretty paranoid as well.....but I try to just have faith in God. I almost went out and bought a heart doppler...but then I was like, “what if I can’t position it right, or hear the heart beat within a few seconds.......” So now I just try to not think about it and look up negative things that can happen during pregnancy. jennamaye -
Thursday, 4 Oct hey! congrats on finding out today!!! just wanted to let you know that you're completely normal. i worried CONSTANTLY about the baby before my last ultrasound. i cried about it constantly even, but the docs reassured me that she's fine. so don't worry you're normal!
and also, my cat was doing the EXACT same thing, but he's gradually getting over it. its just a normal animal thing :)
