Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

my husband was there, and really neither of us knew wat to do b.c they were acting like they didnt think i was really in labor, and they didnt even call my mid-wife until i was already 5 centimeters, so we didnt call her b.c we thought maybe it was just another false alarm, and i thought i was just being wimpy b.c i was hurting so much, so i wound up getting the epidural since i didnt even know wen my mid-wife would get there and i didnt figure the nurses would help me get in the shower or try the birthing ball and such... so, nothing went as planned, and my poor husband didnt know wat to do, but he stayed next to me the whole time and rubbed my cheek with his hand, and i just rubbed up against him and i wouldnt hav been able to get thru it without him b.c i was already so freaked out... and then afterwards i couldnt walk hardly at all b.c of the tear i got, so he had to take care of the baby the whole time we were in the hospital, and if it wouldnt hav been for him she would hav had to hav stayed in the nursery almost the whole time i was there, so im very happy he was there... anyways, that was a little long...lol... but, im glad ur hubby was there too and hope everythings going well...

i had contractions every 5 to 8 mins, they didnt stop at all for 4 days, it was easy to recognize they were contractions. nothing more annoying in the world. you feel the pain, oh yes u do. anyways hopefully elizabeth will be home soon.

baby elizabeth arrived July 31st at 5:19 am she weighed at 8 punds 10.6oz. and she was 20 in... i got home without her because she was breathing fast so they took her to the nicu just to make sure she is fine, i got released today a natural birth as planned even tough i suffered 4 days of horrible pains. im hoping we can bring her home on tuesday, im kinda depressed but at least happy that they noticed before i brought her home i just got back from seeing her and she is doing really well.

hey! just got home... i had my little girl wednesday at 12:51 PM... shes laying here starting to cry right now...lol... im gonna post my birth story later, maybe tom.... it was a pretty quick labor, but i got the epidural, which im very happy about b.c i got a pretty bad tear, and i know it would hav hurt a lot worse if i wouldnt hav had it... all rite, now im just waiting to hear from u!!!!

on saturday night i went to the hospital cuz i thought my water had broken cuz i got some water come out but it wasnt my water bag, ... anyways and last night or should i say this early morning at 2 am i was taking a shower and my stupidass fell on the shower, all cuz of a roach that i was trying to kick back into the sewer .. i hate it when at night they come out and drag their nasty asses around stuff.. that stupid roach!!! so i fell. and well i didnt go to the hospital cuz i called the doc and he said as long as u dont have bleeding is fine just go show up tomorrow morning and so i did but when i woke up i was.. and i am still having contractions every 7 mins .. they are annoying the living shit out of me!!!!!! so in a little while after i shower and eat something im gona head to the hospital.. yup yup.. ohw ell illl tell u how it went later

im sorry i took so long to reply, i got busy with the whole hurricane Dolly thing, anyway, dont worry im prettty sure you'll be just fine, and so will the baby and in less time than u think u r gona be walking around doing your yoga and enjoying ur vodka. as for me, the one thing i desire i wont be able to do anymore.. smoking is my love and i have to quit, its the one thing bad for my baby,, :( and so its coffee and since im going to breastfeed i cant drink coffee either,, ahhhhh im so sad
