its funny u ask about sleep, b.c i didnt go to sleep at all last night... i was having the pains again, and i had them for an hour stright,drinking water and laying down, and they didnt stop until i got up and came in here to look up on the internet and see if i could find something telling me wat i should do b.c my midwife had told me to go to the hospital if the pain didnt stop after i lay down and drink a lot of water, but she also said to time the pains, and i couldnt distinguish any seperate pains, it was just one pain that lasted for an hour, so now im kind of freaking out wondering if i should go to the hospital, b.c she said i shouldnt hav the baby until next week... so i dont know if i should go just to be sure or wat... i was also starting to shake a lot and all, so it was getting more intense, so of course i couldnt sleep after that... im gonna talk to my husband and my mother in law tho and see wat they think i should do, if i should just wait or watever... ive also been having wat feels like contractions, only theres no pain wen i get them, so i dont know if its just braxton hicks or watever, but i dont think it can be braxton hicks once ur already dilating... *sigh* idk... im really considering going in to the hospital tho and seeing wat they say... its like u think u want the baby to come early until they tell u that shes not ready, then u start to freak out! if i dont go to the hospital, or i do and they send me home, ill let u know wats going on...

yeh, i dont really want to try to hold her in... its like, if shes ready to come out, let her out... but, i want her to be as healthy as possible, and also the midwife basically said if i go into the hospital now, theyll try to stop the labor, but if i go in next week they wont try to stop it, so i just gotta make it to next week, then i can do watever i want again, and i hav a feeling it wont take too long b.4 she comes, but we just hav to see wat happens... i just have to make it till tuesday...thats wen i go back to the doctor

No, I'm not dialated. what it means is that, if I go into labor now, she wont make it. Since my cervix is flexing upon movement, her foot can slip through and cause me to rupture a membrane and I'll loose her.

hey, i just went to the doc. and im 1 centimeter dilated, so she put me on bed rest for the week, but said if the baby comes after a week shell be fine, so i may just hav a baby next week!

well, the car seat i chose is pink and brown, and someone is supposed to be getting it for us for our baby shower this weekend, so, since we hav to use it to bring the baby home, i just hope they take it back if we hav a boy after its already been used, b.c otherwise hell be using a pink carseat and stroller!! lol...everything else can be brought back b.c i left the tags and kept the boxes for the non-neutral stuff, but it sure will be a pain to hav to return everything and choose new clothes after the babies already born! good luck with ur baby being a girl!!!

hey, welcome to the site!! i gotta be honest, on one hand i want this baby out now!! and, on the other hand, im not ready yet!!! but, all in all, i just cant wait to hold her and look into her eyes and everything else that goes with becoming a mommy... (even the hard stuff) i mean, i already can hardly sleep, hav horrible acid reflux and just so much on my mind i just slept all day today just about for the first time in days... before that i was sleeping only about two hours at a time... gahhh!!!! but, at least if u cant sleep once u hav the baby, u hav the baby, and that will make it all worth it!! do u know if ur having a boy or a girl?? i found out im having a girl, but after i had the baby shower and got all the girl things, i freaked and started thinking, o,no! wat if i hav a boy?! i dont hav anything for him!!! lol... alright, hope ur doing well, Cort
