My name is Natalie, I am 31 and found out in May that my husband Mark and I are expecting our second child. That totally put a damper on our all-inclusive scuba trip to Cozumel....but hey...we got a better exchange! We have a 3 year old daughter named Susan Antonia whom we call Toni. I am due Jan 15th , but Mark and his accountant decided for tax purposes that I am to have a section on Dec 31st. Rock Out Birthday for little Onyx (as in onyxpected:-).hehe.....Thats OK bc Toni was a section baby also due to the fact I have a pacemaker and they (the OB..not the accountant)...deemed it best on my heart. Fine by me, I was never interested in pushing anything out of the va-jay-jay..to each his own...and I am a big fat chicken. Speaking of fat, I gained 74 pounds, YES, 74 with Toni. That was mainly due to a chronic infatuation with Sonic bacon cheeseburgers. Thank God for Nurtri-system and an elipticle machine....took 5 months to get it all off. I was 136 when this one was conceived, and am currently at 141 at 14 weeks...please God, don't let me pull into that damn Sonic.
7/23/08 It's official....my ass is spreading like KUDZU. Why can't I be a tall, lanky super model that looks like she had a volley-ball surgically implanted in to her abdomen bc I refuse to eat anything but raw fish and diet coke? I'm carrying this fetus in my rear-end and the baby bump is just for show.

Hello there
Nice to hear from you! I also hate selling old stuff. I prefer just giving it to charity (a lot less hassle!) but my husband doesn't like doing that cause he says it's perfectly good stuff, why not get something for it?
I've fortunately slowed down a bit on the eating front and for the 1st time in about 10 weeks I've not gained 2 lbs per week but rather the recommended 1 lb - that's happened for the past 2 weeks now so I'm really chuffed! Otherwise all is well in the belly (from what I can tell anyway) but I'm finding it ever more difficult to concentrate at work. Really hard to get / stay motivated. I'd rather be somewhere else. The struggle continues! We've booked a trip to Iceland in October so at least I've got that to look forward to - I'll be 30weeks then...!

Hahaha why are you selling your baby stuff ?? Or are you upgrading?? Yeh my fetus is driving me nuts. Ive had a snotty nose since conception and my m/s is comming back and i have insomnia. Better be a cute thing or its going to get a smacked bum when it comes out!

Wow, snack number 7 I thought I was the only one!! Ha Ha! I know what you mean, I have about 10 containers worth of girls clothing in the attic. I am just waiting to find out if I am having another girl or if it will be a boy. If it is a girl, my girlfriend's 3 month old will inherit a bountiful wardrobe! I can't wait to feel the little one move, I'm patiently waiting. I thought for sure I would feel it sooner with the second but not so far. I'm getting huge and can only fit into large maternity clothes. I realized how much weight I've gained since my first pregnancy. I can no longer wear those size small maternity clothes. What a waste! I had to go buy more stuff. That's a great idea to start working out on the treadmill to get into shape. I'm really concerned all that walking will put me into another preterm labor. I might end up in one of those motorized contraptions!

Madison is pretty popular around here also, so who knows between now and then what I'll decide to do. Yea, I can't wait until my showers to see what I get. I'm trying not to buy too much but there are a few specialty shops in town that have tons of girl stuff that I'm dying to go browse through.. lol.. I'm sure I will make my way there very soon. This baby won't have a nursery like her brothers did. She will be in my room but have her own little quarters. I have a teddy bear theme crib bedding set that's adorable and I have pictures for the wall already. I'm looking at a musical mobile called Twinkle Toes. It's 4 teddy bears dressed in ballerina skirts and in the center there are a pair of ballerina slippers dangling. It's really sweet. You can look it up online to see it. The pirate theme sounds really neat. It's different and I like that.

lol... yeah i told my hubby that i want to try and stay in a size medium through my pregnancy... in pregnancy clothes of course. i have only gained maybe 5-10lbs so far. not sure exactly cuz my weight goes up and down... but i do know i weigh more than when i started.

I know! I used to work at that spoil me rotten too!! the owner is the same lady, cathy timbes! i LOVE her! but i actually think she sold the one in jackson so she could concentrate on being a gramma! yeah when the one here in memphis closed she let me drive 45 min there to jackson and work at that one for a little while, while i tried to find another job! that is just crazy that you knew spoil me rotten like that! most people dont know it! ive never been to the pink door...i want to buy a really sweet "babies first outfit" for when i bring him or her home from the hospital! for pictures and all...well have fun taking your nap! i wish i could but im stuck at stinky ole work

I'm sure your probably just being crazy about your thighs and butt...lol. I was like that when I was 17 weeks....I thought I was huge and getting so fat and now when I look back I don't know what the hell I was thinking??!!! I was small!!
You have soo much more appreciation for the pre pregnancy body that you have once you get huge like this.

you were a size 4??!! UGh..I would have loved to have been that small. I think the last time I remember being a size 4 was back when I was 16 or 17...and that didn't last long..lol.
I was a size 7-9 before I got preggy...dunno what I am now and i don't wanna know..
But I live in my stretchy gym type pants too. Especially now that my stomach is soo low that if I try to wear jeans the zipper or button just digs into my belly when I'm sitting down and it hurts. I think i have gained like 7 pounds since I was at my last appt around 33 and a half weeks. But I'm thinking maybe a good bit of that is fluid since I'm so swollen now? I dunno...i just hope it doesn't get too much worse cuz i don't think that is good...

Even if you gain 70 pounds again this time you still look super pretty. I never even seen where all of this 7- pounds was in your hospital pics cuz you still looked tiny up top!

omg!!! i LOVE chocolate soup and cottontails!!! and little lambs and ivy used to be my favorite but they closed :( i used to work at this childrens boutique that was in cordova named "spoil me rotten" and i managed it and LOVED it!! but i didnt have kids or anything then so really i just enjoyed working there...now i REALLY wish i was there! LOL im ready to shop too girl!! we need to go to chocolate soup when they do one of their big sales! they always have good clearance racks and stuff!! and cottontails is just adorable! i have only been once or twice though so i need to go back!! and yes im going to buy one of those doppler things REALLY soon, like when i get paid most likely because im such a paranoid person and i constantly worry about my baby!!

finally feeling baby move hey? That is great. Your getting a hearty appetite now it seems if your snacking 7 different times..lol. Have you gained any weight yet?
My baby still moves quite a bit. I had heard that the closer you get the more they just chill out in there but my baby must be a active one..lol.
We set the crib up last night and i'm getting the room together now. FINALLY!!
I cannot wait to have this baby!
The only thing that is kinda bothering me now is that I'm starting to swell up now. The last two days when I wake up my fingers are sore and stiff...I hate it.
