Ya, and every baby is different. I was told solids at this point is really just practice anyway as their primary source of nutrition should be breast milk/formula. So, it will probably just come in time.
I made a typo there too...that should read 27"...37" that is one long baby, lol.

What does your Dr. say about the formula consumption? At Shay's 6 mth appt her Dr. said at this point she should be under 42 ozs per day. It is tough for me to judge because I breast feed and then supplement. I have been worried about it because Shay is still gaining weight so rapidly. Like a pound every 2 weeks. Her Dr. isn't concerned yet because she is also tall (37 ") and she weighed 20.2 lbs.
Shay eats about 2-3 tbs of food 3 times a day. Dinner is when she likes to eat the most. The upside, she has always slept well during the night.

Just a question...can men (father-to-be) get post-pardum depression after the baby is born? I believe they can and I think Jay has it now. He's been really down and out and his mood changed a week after Shayna was born.

to reply to your friend below me about the ear piercing...i had one lady come thru my line at work who said she got her daughters done at 2 months...but it all depends on how you feel about it. Since my lil girl likes to rub her ears...rather rough i may add i may wait til she is 9 months or a year old. All depends.

SHAYNA'S HERE! She was born on Tuesday, September 16th at 1:35 in the afternoon. I was in labor for ONLY 3 in a half hours!!! Such a smooth and easy labor. She's beautiful...looks just like her father. Black fuzzy hair, dark blue eyes. (Which will most likely change to brown.) She's still in the hospital though because she has Jaundice. She's under a UV light, and the longer she stays under there the faster she'll get better. So, hopefully she'll be home on Saturday.
