this is me and my baby
Hey everyone!!!!Well, my name is Natasha and I am from Chicago. Me and my husband een together for almost 4 years. Our baby was unexpected, but we both got very happy when we found out. At first, we both wanted to have a little boy, but an ultrasound told us otherwise. IT'S A GIRL!!!!! I couldnt be any happier!!!!!I always talk to her and sometimes, when I know she is sleeping, I start to talk and my little angel wakes up!!!She knows my voice!!!It is so exciting!!!! She is kicking all the time, it seems like she never stops, even when I wake up at night, I feel her move. I am almost 31 weeks pregnant and cant wait any longer!!! I feel very good, so far no streach marks, my doc told me that I am gaining alright. I sleep pretty good, but I am always tired. It seems like trhe only thing I want to do is sleep!!!!!Well ladies, hang in there!!!Hugs

hey everyone!!!!I am 32 weeks and it seems like forever!!!I just started not sleeping at night and its awful. A good thing I dont work, so I read books at night:) My little angel got so strong and she kicks me very hard!!!It was cute in the beginning,but it begins to hurt already!!! I have an ultrasound on tuesday, to see how she is doing and how much she weights. I really dont know what position she is in, sometimes i feel like she is kicking me down there,but then,she seems to be in my ribs,so we'll see I guess!!!! I am very excited about the birth and not scared (maybe not yet:)) I have my baby shower next sunday. TTY
Hey!!!Well, I am almost 34 weeks. I had my babyshower this sunday and it was awesome!!!! I Loved it!!! I got everything I needed for our baby and we are all ready now!!!! Today I had an app and my doc said everything is fine. I am still dialated 1cm, so he is not concerned, since i am not opening more. My baby weighted 4lb 3oz at 32 weeks, but my doc told me she was supposted to be 3.7lbz and he said that I measured bigger. So who knows, I might be getting my little girl a lil earlier. I cant wait, I'll update some pic:)

You won't need to try any secret recipes to bring on labor. Have your emergency numbers ready. Don't wait until the last minute to get your nursery ready. We predict your baby will come 1-2 weeks early. Your baby will most likely be born in the morning. hey all! it has been a long time since i have updated my profile. well , today i am 36 weeks and 4 days. i had a doctors app. today and i am dialated to 2!!!!!finally!!! my baby girl has already dropped, so its good news too. my B strep is negative and i have lost my mucus plug. i know it works different for everybody, but i hope i wont have to wait very long after i lost it. i dont even mind having her when i hit 37 weeks. yesterday was the first time i saw my legs be BIG!!!! they were really swallen. today, me and my husband went shopping and baby girl was hitting me soooo hard down there,that i couldnt walk. i guess she wants out!!!!well, mama and daddy dont mind!!!!bring on the pain of labor!!! i am sooo ready!!!!
hey ladies! today was my doctors app. i am impressed! my little girl is about 7lbs. my blood pressure is good, my weight gain is OK, i wish it would be less, but its ok. i am dialated to a almost 3cm and effaced 60%. she is at a -1 position. my doctor told me that it is very strange that i am caring my first baby and already walking dialated and effaced. he said that i could even have her tonight. i dont really believe that, caz i know she'll come out whenever she feels like, but its still good news. at least, i have apersentage that i will go earlier than ,y due date, which is GREAT!!!!!!! I hope everyone is having healthy pregnancy!! we'll c our babies soon!!!

Birth Story
Well, it was a tuesday, Aug. 7th. My friends and my hubby went to the movies.,at 10:20pm. Right before that, we had sex (we didnt in a long time, so i wanted to "induce" the labor). Right when i sat down in the theater, i felt contractions. I timed them and they were 6mins appart. So sex did work for me!!!! I didnt tell my hubby anything, thought it was another false labor. By the end of the movie, I had to stand up and walk around, the contractions were 4-5mins appart. We came out and i called my doc, he told me to come in. we went home to get my hospital bag and went to the hospital. we got to the hospital at 2am and i was 4cm dialated. tthey told me they didnt know if i will stay, so they would recheck me in 2hours. my contractions were 3min appart and in 2hours i was 5.5 cm dialated and they broke my water. the real pain didnt start until about 7am. i didnt take the epidural and i dodnt regret it at all. i started pushing at 10 am and she was out at 10:19am. they said i was the best first-timer-no-epidural-pusher!!!! she is beautiful and healthy!!! 7lbs 2oz and 20in. she is nursing fine and sleeps alot. sometimes i cant even wake her up for a feeding. they didnt cut me, but i did tear just a little bit. it didnt hurt, i didnt feel it at all. the recovery is very fast and easy. i dodnt regret it at all. the pain is worth it. you are so much in control of your body and whats going on with the labor that it help so much to go natural. I am very happy!!!and i never knew i could love somebody as much as i love her!!!

What worked best for me when Anna had a bad cough was to keep her by a humidifier all the time. I also ran the shower on really hot so the bathroom would steam up and put her in there in just a diaper. I put her in her little chair and read books to her. The only other thing I used was Vick's Baby Vapo-Rub. Hope any of this is helpful!

When my son had a cough a few weeks ago, I called the doc's office and spoke to the nurse and she told me some home remedies I could try and to look out for any fever. You might want to call the doc on call just to ask. Your baby is too young for any OTC cough/cold meds, but I am sure if it's serious, they can prescribe you something. I was told to get a cold mist vaporizer for his room and use "ocean for kids" drops in his nose...He eventually got better. It took about a week...Call the doc. Even if you could talk to a nurse, that would make you feel better....take care!

If she's having trouble breathing, is kind of wheezy, etc then you should probably get her into a 24 hour clinic. If it's just a cough and her breathing sounds fine it's probably just a virus that you'll have to let pass. I don't think they like to prescribe a lot of cold medicine for babies anymore. You can run a really hot shower and hang out in the bathroom with her, the steam will help loosen up her congestion. It might also help if you can't get her to sleep, let her sleep on your chest in a rocking chair so she is elevated. Laying flat will make her cough more but they aren't allowed to sleep on pillows yet so that's hard. Make sure to clean her nose out if she's snotty to help her breathe better. If I think of anything else helpful I'll let you know. Your doctor should have an answering service, you could call and leave a message for them to call you back.

uh, wish i had the time to sit around and relax, but i need to work to pay bills, my fiance just got a new job too, so that makes it a little harder. We have ALOT of animals to feed, morgage, car payments, phone,cabe, and all that crap to pay each month. I hope it only gets easier........

Mine has a white tongue from her formula the easiest way to tell is if it can be wiped off it is breastmilk or formula if not it could be thrush..

Hey Natasha! I finally got him to fall asleep for a hour! I put him on his side and sat by the play pen (since the crib is still a no no to him) and patted his bum...it totally worked! Once he woke up after that hour I put him in his sleep positioner and he fussed for a minute but then he fell asleep again..woohoo! I wish you luck!
