Yeah!!! We're finally pregnant! It only took a year of trying. Hey, practice makes perfect! We are so excited. My husband and I have been married for a year and a half. We were ready to start a family together. I am a step mother to two wonderful children, but I was ready to have one of my own.

I am very lucky because I have not had any morning sickness. I am about to end my first trimester without getting sick once! (sorry ladies) I do however get really bad headaches. They start as tension in my neck then go up to my head. Sometime they last for days. One thing is for sure, Tylenol does not even touch them! Hopefully one day, someone will create a pain medication that actually takes away the pain and is safe during pregnancy! One day!

I can't wait to meet this little one. I feel so lucky to be blessed with this wonderful miracle! I hope the pregnancy goes by fast. I am ready to be a mommy!

yes thats true, induced labors can last long, which in turn can cause fetal distress, leading to c-section... i experienced it after 36 hours of labor.. its called failed induction.. your cervix is ready at 4cms so it would more likely be successful..

yes, being induced does have a higher risk of a c section. my due date was originally november 2nd and then my doctor pushed it to november 9th at the last minute and he won't even induce me until thursday just to see if i will go into labor on my own before that.. so i'm way past due.. especially if its your first baby they try to get you to have it naturally so that the chance of csection is low because once you already have 1 csection the chances of you having another csection if you were to get pregnant again are high.

hello ladies! ive just added a new pic to my album...32wks 6days and was wondering if you could have a looky see at it compared to my 31wks pic plezzzzz. im sure shes gone down loads,but need a few other opinions! b4 i couldnt put my hand on top of my belly without lifting my boobs up first.lol. but now theres a whole hands width thats flat b4 i even bet to my boobs....anyways id apriciate it you could take a look an let me know what you think!! thanks! x

Hi nat , i'm not sure if this is the case , but sometimes the baby can be pressing on nerves or even organs and it can cause pain like you're describing. It sounds a bit weird to think that your little one can kick your kidneys like a football or play your liver like a drum ! I hope all is well with you? When do you finish work? I'm slack and finished last week. Best thing i ever did, after 8 years of working i'm just loving it (mainly cause i can sleep when i want to )x x x

The OB tour was good, good to just see how it all works and get familiar with where we will be. BUT Jean and I both had the same reaction walking into the delivery room itself of, well, fear and OMG the next time we are going to see this room we will be delivering. It made it all VERY VERY real. I saw Peppy yesterday and he still thinks I'm gonna go early. My BP is still a bit high for me. He's now thinking 2 weeks early so that puts me at Dec 17th... its all comin up so flippin fast!!! I got your shower invite... we are going to try to make it but not sure yet. We have so much to do still and are really trying to hunker down and get it all done. The contents of our guest room is now in the front room. Are you guys bowling tonight??? I'm assuming Jerry is going although I forgot to ask him last night...
anyhoo...whats up with you????
