Friday, 17 October Hey, Mamas! I finaly had my baby boy...On 10/15/08 at 3:12 pm
Shawn Kenneth, 7.8 lbs, 21 inches long, 13 hours labor, induced with a cervical softner and an hour on pitocin. Labor went very fast on pitocin...I went from 4cm to 9cm in less than an hour...to fast for an epi...God Give Me Strength! Was able to get spinal block that lasted less than 2 hours long, but not long enough to feel baby decend! It was alot on me, but I got through it with the help of the nurses and doctor. God Bless Them! Shawn is beautiful and very quiet compared to my daughter when she was born. He is softly spoken and very present. He is brestfeeding pretty good. He latches on and will eat and sleep at the same time. I still am having to get use to the positioning, but it will all come in time.
I hope all of you are enjoying the moment, because it goes so fast. Thanks for being in my network and I will pop in and say hi as the weeks go on. Motherly peace and rest to you! Off to change a poopy diaper!

Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Tuesday, 30 September OMG
I do not blame you for quitting!! I could not imagine having to do that everyday or even just sometimes. That sounds like the type of job that could make a person go out of their mind!!!!!!!! Its incredible though that youve accomplished so much for yourself and it must be nice to be able to choose to do that again if you decide to later on. Photography sounds better though
It is scary to think what causes autism, but I havent a clue. All I know is that its more common in boys then girls and Im havin a girl this time around so we'll see. I also heard though that if you have one with autism you could possibly have another
Oh girl dont get me started on the hairy belly!!
You are definetly lucky that your hubby doesnt have to see that but Im sure he wouldnt mind!! Everyone loves pregnant women for some reason. I personally dont understand it. Its not as beautiful as they all say and I know you know what Im talkin about
OH THANK YOU for the ben and jerry request. Ill have to try that. Im still on my ice cream kick!!!!!!
You have a good day

Monday, 29 September I know what you mean. I feel like I can't be pregnant even one more hour, but sure have the patience to wait for my baby a few more weeks!! lol MissLouLou -
Monday, 29 September I feel the same way you do.... I so ready to not be pregnant yet but im getting more scared by the day at the thought of actually having this baby and then caring for it. Im sure we will both be fine tho. Look at some of the women out there who have had babies, if they can do it we sure can!! ust try and relax and think of all the wonderful times you will be having soon. Take care xxx

Saturday, 27 September Oh wow, so what exactly do you plan on doing when you are finished with school? Sounds like with all your schooling you can do just about anything. Are you going to be working with children with autism or just all types of children in general?
I, personally, am all for vaccines. The risks of not getting your child vaccinated are so much worse than actually doing it not to mention the fact that nobody knows what causes autism so vaccines may not even play a role in it. BUT, as Im sure you know, without certain vaccines it could be fatal for your child so really the question is if vaccines do cause autism would you prefer your child have it or a serious illness which could cause death to them??!! I really dont understand people who shy away from vaccines with all the problems not getting them can create. Autism makes life incredibly difficult obviously, but at the same time I wouldnt change my son for anything!! His autism is what makes him who he is and he's the most amazing person in the world to me
Those are just my opinions though. What do you think based upon everything you've read about it?
NO, I dont think your husband would like it if you went and got it elsewhere!! LOL
If it makes you feel any better though, it's very uncomfortable right now. Every way we try and do it basically doesnt work. Kinda sucks, makes me feel useless

Saturday, 27 September Don't be so worried. It is common to test positive, its not a big deal. I delivered my last baby early and they didn't even get a chance to test me. You just need antibiotics when you go into labor. sammy28 -

Thursday, 25 September Well I can imagine how that feels, i want my lil guys room all cleaned up so I can get some pictures, might have to let him sleep in my bed for a lil bit just to get a chance to be in there!
I don't have anything that matches really lol! Not even my chair and ottoman, hubby got me the chair for xmas but they didn't have the ottoman so I got it when they had it and it was a different color but oh well at least I have them...now I just have to actually use them Oops! serehya -
Thursday, 25 September I read your post, I thought with the evening primose oil, you were suppose to insert them, they're suppose to dissolve inside of you so the prostoglandins can go right to work on your cervix. herewego -
Thursday, 25 September Someone else posted about it and said it had a really high success rate - so i checked it out. I called two 'medical spas' and both seemed to know exactly what I was talking about. One was quite upscale and suggested that women come in once a week beginning at 35 weeks. She said that it promoted ripening of the cervix and would make for an easier and on time delivery, (but it was $140, then $90 for each session). This other spa seems upscale as well - but I talked to this acupuncturist doctor from China who made sure I was almost to term, confirmed that the baby wasn't breech, then said - come in, we focus on your pinky toe - it usually takes one or two tries and you will go into labor - $65/35 minute session... I'm going to wait until almost 39 weeks to make sure my body is ripe enough & then try it....I think with any of the self-inductions, if you try too early, it won't work anyway...let me know if you try it too. :) smurfwxmama -
