Friday, 29 August no clue if this is "scientific" but lots of protein & pineapple have really reduced my swelling this pregnancy - last pregnancy i was a balloon!!! my mom suggested the pineapple b/c she uses it to reduce joint swelling for her arthritis---it seems to work....good luck, i know that the swelling alone makes you feel less than glamorous. mccraig -
Wednesday, 27 August Hey, just read your post. Hang in there. I know what you mean about being miserable and wanting wine and cigs. I think that these last few weeks have by far been the worst. Its just uncomfortable waiting and waiting. You are going to be a great Mom and going at it alone will be tough, but you really won't be alone...you'll have the most amazing little buddy there who needs you 100% of the day.

Monday, 18 August hang in there hot, puffy navywife! Had to laugh about you sitting in the car with the AC on. We JUST got a small AC unit. Before that I was running a couple of cold baths a day. There are days it all seems magical, but there are a lot of days when the scene from Alien seems more like what pregnancy is like! Mystical5150 -

Tuesday, 5 August It is nice to hear from you. I have been SO busy... we are trying to renovate and sell this house - buy and move into another one we like more before our son comes... we are having a boy! We had the 4D done just to make sure it really is a boy. I am feeling good except that heartburn has been a bit of an issue, along with swelling feet and ankles, lack of ability to really sleep at night and weird hunger spells. My boys and the reno's keep me on my toes. I just started writing up my birth plan today, and I forgot how much there is to cover. I am really nervous about giving birth again in a hospital as my first experience taught me that giving birth on a curb would be more enjoyable than doing it in a hospital.:(
On a better, happier note we just put in an order for a new stroller and I am so very excited about it. It is called an ABC Buggy and it is a single jogging stroller with an attachment seat that can go on top or in front. The attachment seat comes in the option of being a single or double seater - we got the double as we have 3 now and are planning another shortly after this one is born. You should check it out... it is a very cool stroller. I have had every thing from umbrella to a quad stroller (ran a daycare for years) and never have I come across such a neat contraption as this! (www.abcbuggy.co.nz)
The children are becoming way more aware of my ever expanding belly. My eldest son is very excited and keeps making comments like "and that is about when the baby will be born right?"
Anyways, thanks so much for msging me and please do keep in touch. I mostly come on to read ppl's comments and rarely have time to post comments any more.
I look forward to hearing from you again. Take Care. herewego -
