LOL on the belly button comment.... and the answer is no. I use to have a really deep belly button before I had kids at all. After my 1st pregnancy made it pop out completely its always been pretty shallow after pregnancy. Not distorted tho, so don't worry it will look normal

ha! i went bizerk the other day and cleaned out the entire basement - a nasty job too...i think that is what they call the nesting instinct. Just be careful, i think i over-exerted myself a little bit pushing around boxes...had to rest completely the next day. LOL

I hear ya! Can't wait for the end prize, but this pregnancy thing is not fun. I'm totally over it. Maybe after she arrives I'll look back and think it wasn't bad, but right now I just don't like sharing my body!

Yeah, being IS I believe is like a 95% shore duty. I think that they only have a couple positions on cutters. I don't know what you mean by staff pick up position but he is having to go back to school which means that he gets demoted.

My back has been feeling good. The only time that it feels weird is when I am laying down in bed, but that doesn't happen all the time. I've been sleeping on my side with a pillow inbetween my knees and it seems to do the trick.

We go down to Key West about twice a year. Between my work schedule and his, there isn't much time to travel (even if it is only 3 hrs). But speaking of vaca...we're leaving on Tuesday for California to see my grandparents and cousins. I'm excited! They live in San Jose so hopefully the weather will be warm but not too hot. I can't wait for warm weather with no humidity!

Yes SO totally weird that they are kicking us all the time. Mine literally NEVER stops. He is so hyper!! I do not have pics up because I am like technically challenged and don't know how to do that. Maybe one of these days I will learn and do it but I doubt it. I CAN tell you that I think I am significantly bigger than you :) You look ADORABLE!
Yeah I haven't done ANYTHING to get my house or the nursery ready! I am like I don't know in denial or something?!?! Cause this baby is going to be here in 4 mos! And YES THAT IS CRAZY!!! AH! I am way excited but also freaked out because I am so unprepared. I don't even know when/where I am having my baby showers...
That's cool about the doolah. I was thinking about doing it too- the ones my midwife recommended are like $800 I think... is that around what you paid? And she is a massage therapist? NICE bonus!
I think little fire is COOL and not scary it's like he has fire in him- in a good way like a bad ass little person.. Dude I don't know if you know what I mean or not cause sometimes lately things make so much more sense in my head than when I say/type them.. uh.. anyway
I should look up what all the names I like mean cause I always forget.
Oh and yeah, needless to say- NO, I haven't picked out bedding I havent done much of anything yet! :( I will though. Pretty soon I will have no choice! Watch he'll come early and have nowhere to sleep and nothing to wear!

I think I am WAY huger than you (but they also 'changed' my due date to Oct 4 whatever Im leaving it the way it is) I think I look at least 6 mos preg. You make a VERY cute pregnant woman! I will have to check that bedding out, sounds super cute. We finally picked out a bedding this weekend, we ordered it online from some linen store, it is a sports them, super cute, Derek is so excitied to get things ready in the nursey. Thank goodness you have great friends to help you paint the nursey, it is a lot of work. I am sure you are tired and you back hurts.
I am feeling okay, I had went to the doctor on Friday and found out I have shingles. It is horrible, way worse then chicken pox. I think I am getting better, thank goodness to a great husband, and a mom and dad who live close to take care of me. AGH!!

Hey there, My hubs will be able to play again it just might take some time. Actually about 5 more months, then off to Europe we will go!!

I am so so ready for our daughter Kori to arrive, I love the name Aiden, too cute. Time does fly by. I have seven more weeks left. 32 weeks preggo and so uncomfortable!! I have gained almost 30 lbs, but who's counting? I'm sure we will all drop the weight quickly!!

How are you handling the deployment? Did you ever find out how long he would be over there?? I'll keep u in my prayers! xoxox

I totally agree with you, boy names are so hard. I was happy when my hubby came up with Kolby because I was at a loss. I have always loved Jackson, but he doesn't. What all have you bought?? It is so hard not to pick up little things here and there. I have bought some clothes, and bibs, burp rags. My mom has been going to garage sales, so Kolby is being HOOKED up with clothes. She is amazing, brand new clothes, or gently used for CHEAP! So we are super lucky with that. I have almost all my other stuff, between what I had with my daughter and my mom picking some things up at the garage sale. Have you picked out a baby bedding yet??

How's the baby? Kicking you?? :) Mine is like a crazy hyper little kickboxer in there! I love the name Aiden- very nice. Joseph is my grandfather's name so we were thinking about that for a middle name too... But my other grandfather is Irving and so is my husband's great-grandfather so we might do that for the middle name. As fas as first names- I don't know yet! We like Henry, Wyatt, Max, Sebastian.. and some others I'm not remembering right now. So do you look pregnant yet? :)

I'm really sorry your husband's not with you babe, but it will probably be the day he gets home before you know it!! I'm really excited for you though! You should try to focus on the excitement too! Little Aiden will be here in like 4 months (HOW crazy is that???!!) and he will DEFINITELY keep you company constantly! I bet he is going to be SO cute too! And soon after that your husband will be home :)
I know my silly little attempts at cheerin you up probably don't make a big difference- but hang in there! You'll see- you will be fine. Are you having someone else at the birth with you? Let me know if you ever need anything or wanna talk :)
Also what does Aiden mean? Im very interested in these things... too lazy to look it up myself :)

Hello navy wife, my heart goes out to you deployed for a long time does not sound fun......hang in there! My hubs is home right now he had an ACL surgery 3 weeks ago and is doing ok, it's alot of work taking care of him. I'm getting nervous yes I'm due the 31st of next month....time flys, trust me. I thought this day would never be in sight. I'm ready!!! I got my 3d done when I was 26.4 weeks, I loved the way they turned out!!! thank you! How are you feeling??? I know you're missing him so so so much, and he is missing you and baby too!! any names yet??

Military wives are strong! I think we are some of the strongest people out there. Not many people could put up with what we do and survive . I am so proud of my Army husband and so sad at the same time. He is missing so much with this pregnancy but I know that he is here in spirit if nothing else. We have been lucky in that he called the day of my first midwife visit and got to hear the heartbeat with me for the first time. He also called during my 20wk ultrasound and got be the first to hear the baby's gender! I still miss him but somedays it really hurts to not have him here! But like you said WE ARE STRONG! Anyway good luck with the pregnancy.....

You totally don't wish your husband was on recruiting duty. The hours are horrendous. He's home on sundays (maybe) and during the work week he averages 14-15 hours a day in the office.

The winters in NY are ok. I think I'm used to them b/c I've lived only in NY my whole life so I know no different.

My hubby was in San Diego for 6 weeks for some training and I saw the costs when I got the credit card bills. It was outrageous!!! Hopefully your BAH is higher out there so you aren't struggling. I don't know how you do it out there!! Funny you said NYC. My brother goes to school there and loves it!! He said it's expensive but the food in awesome! Best of luck to you!!!

hah.. im the same way.. I wake up feeling either I love or hate doing what i do. lol. Some days Im proud to wear the uniform and others I'd love to watch it burn! But to answer ur question.. as of now, yes he will be here for a short period of time. But knowing how great the army is and their timing Im sure he'll miss the important birthing part. lol. Im not counting on him to be here for the birth but he will be here in the babys first days/weeks which is good enough for me. Ur thoughts and prayers mean alot to me.. thank u. and the same to u.. im here if u need to vent/chat/cry or whatever!
