Friday, 30 May Sorry you're having a bad day.... Maybe if you take a nice bubble bath and curl up with a good book and try and get lots of sleep.... I know it has to be hard with your hubby away. I'm sending hugs to ya! the4ofus -
Tuesday, 27 May Bummer on the achy back! Thanks for the congrats on our boy, congrats on your too. I really like Aiden Jospeh, is the middle name after anyone?? We are naming our son Kolby Gene, Gene is after my husbands father, and Kolby my husband came up with the name, and I think it is different and cute. So it was pretty easy. Hope your back is better!! Did you have a nice weekend? marinewife8412 -
Monday, 26 May I came across your profile and wanted to say hello. I'm also a military spouse. Right now my hubby is on recruiting duty so we are currently in upstate NY.
Congrats on your pregnancy. wooziemama -
Saturday, 24 May First of all, congratulations on your pregnancy!
I just read your comment about sports bras and laughed my head off. I have completely outgrown my pre-pregnancy bras and went shopping yesterday for new ones. I had all these cute, lacy ones picked out...forget about it! They were a disaster waiting to happen! I sucked up the remainder of my pride and said goodbye to the sexy days and hello to sports bras. I am definitely "that girl" now too! =D
Hey, at least they're comfortable!! KellysBabyBelly -
Saturday, 24 May HURRAY for sports bras! You'll find that your breasts will probably keep changing sizes all the time in the near future. I own pre-baby #1 bras size 34B, pregnancy and post pregnancy baby #1 34C-D and sports bras. And thank goodness i kept all of them haha. As for the back pain, lower back pain is the worst. Saturday, 24 May hey :) my back has been really achy too :( and no i cant find any bras.... only found one nice black lace mat bra and im living in sports bras too.... hehe so im that girl too :P kajk -
Saturday, 24 May Hey, I am glad to have heard from you. Congrats on the son!! We have our first U/S on the 5th so I guess we will see then... if not I have another booked at another clinic on teh 20th... one is for medical purposes the other is just for show. :D The company has a webmail hook-up - I give them 4 email addresses and those ppl are able to watch the 3D ultrasound as it is being performed, plus I'll get pics printed as well on DVD w/ music and teddy with a the baby's heart beat recorded in it... pretty heavy duty but I'll only be prego with this babe once right??
Anyway, no decision on the doula yet. Fiance is skiddish with blood and such so we are considering recording it so if he does pass out he won't have totally missed it all (lol) poor guy... any way, thanks for letting me know how you are doing. TTYS.

Wednesday, 21 May Hi,
I'm a NAVY brat and was born while my dad was in Vietnam. He had to leave while my mom was about 5 months pregnant. We came back when I was about 1. He was always sorry that he missed my birth and first year but he more than made up for it with love and attention. My mom had tapes of my dads voice to play for me so I was used to hearing him around. I played with his childhood teddy bear as well. I, of course, have no memory of it all, but it seems like they did a great job to keep daddy near to me.
Now, once I was older and noticed that we were moving to a different state every 2-4 years got really old. I don't miss that part at all :) I love the military life and ended up marrying an Army man myself. I'm just glad that my husband got out of the military after the first gulf war. I feel lucky.
Take care and enjoy your pregnancy! armymom -

Saturday, 17 May Hey lady. How are you doing? I haven't talked to you in forever. Have you guys found out what your having yet? We go in on Tuesday and hopefully our little one will show us the goods. How have you been feeling? How is the heat there? It's starting to get up here but still not too bad. Well, I hope your doing good! lexismomma -
Friday, 16 May Im really sorry to hear about your situation..But just stay strong, and have faith and everything will work its self out. At least you know your husband is doing something to be proud about. I will keep you and your family in my prays. Good Luck mrskcich -
Friday, 16 May I've posted a comment about this before but I'm not sure if you read it.
Since your hubby will be gone for the birt, why not record it for him. You don't need to get all the gross stuff...just keep the camera up by your head so all you see is doc and the baby. That way he will never have the opportunity to regret not hearing his baby's first cry.
If you aren't sure about who will be in the room with you...put a camera on the little table and have it by the head of your bed.
If you don't want to watch it, you can get rid of it...but I know my daughter (she is 3) and I watch hers all the time...there is nothing gorry on it ! rae -
