My docs and I wanted to wait a week past my due date. Unfortunately the hospital is full for that day and the next three days later. So it's wait 'till Aug 1st or do it this Fri. My husband is starting a new job on August 1st so I don't want him to miss the birth or first day of work. So I'm just going to go ahead with the induction and hope for the best. :) I've been having some mild contractions this morning so maybe she'll end up coming on her own. :) Thanks so much for your concern though!! :) I wish you the best!

Thank you for the email with acupressure points.
I saw the midwife today and she said if Ella doesn't come by monday, the doc might do a membrane swap (or whatever its called)
If that doesn't kickstart the labour, they'll most likely induce me thurs/fri. Which I'm happy about because...you know...I can't handle it...and cos I have to have antibiotics, so it'll be good to be in hospital already.
Anw. Lets hope we both go into natural labor soon

Hi Ness!
Wow! You're a trooper! to carry all the way till week 42. I can't handle it anymore. I just want her out. I've become very immobile, I don't even drive unless I have to. I am so huge and uncomfortable, covered in stretchmarks, ready to pop. I'm due tomorrow and I'm being hopeful she comes. I've done a few of the self induction labor things; the tea, the curry, the pineapple, and my neighbour told me to squat (I still haven't dropped. Can u believe it?). So if she doesn't come, I'm seeing the doctor on the 28th and hopefully by the end of next week I'll have her.
Great to hear you're copying well.

I'm gonna b conventional and ask: Has the baby arrived yet?
If not how are you feeling and copying with the wait?
I saw my midwife today and told her, the lack of any pre labour symptoms makes me think she'll be in there for another 9 months.

Well it seems like you and I are the only 2 ppl who don't want to be induced!! I refuse. I would maybe consider if I was 2 weeks late but until then NO WAY. My contractions have subsided, hmmmmmm. We shall see. I'm super excited and ready to do this but not going to rush it beyond it's natural course. Hope the Dr. goes well!

You're good. I haven't gone back since I left. How were my kids? probably excited to cu?! Is Narelle still there?
I'm turning into a couch potato.
How ru feeling? I'm feeling the weird pains Braxton Hicks but who knows 100%
How exciting! u have only a week. I'm drinking heaps of rasberry leaf tea hoping I won't go over the EDD.
We finished the room, just gotta get Ryan to hang up a couple of shelves for me. Took photos of the room and put them here, that's how bored I am.
Do u have the room ready? and the clothes washed?

Thanks for your comment, Well they told me what it is and everything, but not the actual extent of how they actually administer the antibiotics and when exactly. I didnt even think to ask, and i dont have another app for a couple of weeks. But ive googled and and some people have told me their experiences, so i kind of get the idea now, but i will just have to ask my midwife what my hosp does!

Thanks for the reply! ya, I thought it would be nice for people tio know who they are buying for and then get to see him! I thought I would do it about a month after but didnt know if that would be weird or not...haha. How are you doing? feeling ok? I lose my mind at night time. feels like all my joints just start aching. fingers and toes fall asleep...uhg...just aches and hurts. oh well, not long to go now! have a beautiful day girl! its raining like crazy over here...
