hey, am sooooo hoping my doc will take me off medication to stop contractions this week or the next. i really want to have the baby early. i have waited so long and there have been soo many complications, i just dont want anything going wrong. and if 36 weeks is good enough, so be it. and with GD, the baby is on the bigger side. so i am hoping that will work to my advantage.

i know what you mean. besides it been months of praying and hoping everything goes on well. if i am not mistaken, you've been on tenterhooks since around the same time that Boopy delivered her baby. And yes, it can take its toll on a person and really really test your nerves.

just hang in there. And remember you've been hanging in there not in your own strength, but in gods and will continue to do so.

wow...I am so sorry to hear that. It seems so eerie to me also because it sounds exactly what my best girlfriend did to me when I got married...I guess you know who your friends are. sounds like you have a great group of friends around you and thats fantastic. How are you feeling these days? I was feeling great up until day before yesterday..haha..now I get really tingly feet and sore in the groin like crazy! not long to go now! so exciting isnt it! scary too! did you see the pics of my beautiful baby room? uhg! Hi! I read your post about your shower - I hope you enjoyed it! The food sounds awesome, you are making this preggo very hungry! That's nice that your sister was able to come out and help. My sis is moving in with us until the middle of August to help with the little one, as my husband works crazy long hours. Gotta love family!

You sound very ready to have the baby! We are definitely getting there, too. I have my fingers crossed for 37 weeks - then I am doing EVERYTHING in my power to get it out! It is already measuring big, sounds like at 37 weeks it will be about 7.5 lbs so it is getting evicted!!! Walking, jumping jacks, sex, accupressure points, whatever it takes!

Sounds like you got everything but make sure you bring yourself a going home outfit you never know if your water will brake before you get to the hospital and then those cloths are not wearable! Because its baby number three it might go so fast it will blow your mind! My first was so fast I am scared to death to go into labor with this one!

Hey- are you still hanging in there? I assume that you are still pregnant? How have you been feeling? This is not fun being on bed rest and contracting, but you can relate. I actually had an appointment today, and I get to get rid of my terbutaline pump in 2 1/2 weeks, when I hit 36 weeks. My doc thinks that when I get rid of it I will have labor within 24 to 48 hours. So, I really haven't been on bed rest this week. I have been buying stuff for the baby and getting things ready because i think my little guy will be here in 3 weeks.

My intestine twisted and enstrangulated itself. I had surgery to remove the dead intestine. Then a week later my bowl leaked where they had sewn me back together, so I had another er surgery and ended up with and ileostomy. My baby girl did really well through it all. I am so thankful. Your belly is cute, a lot smaller then mine ever was. Are you still on bed rest?

Hey! How are things going? Still pregnant?! This isn't a very fun boat to be in with contractions all the time, is it?! You've been putting up with it a lot longer than I have! Baby shopping is SO much fun, and it is so exciting seeing the husband enjoying it, too. Sounds like you are set! Are you having a baby shower? Did you end up with strep throat? Are you feeling better?

Things are going well here. Putting up with the contractions and taking exciting drugs that make me feel like I'm floating when they get too strong. Baby is still high, so the doctor is happy. I've been trying to take it easy, but I really am not good at it. I've become more crafty than I though possible, a real Martha Stewart-in-training! LOL Having way too much fun decorating the nursery, I'll post pics soon. My friends/family are throwing me a shower this weekend - it was supposed to be a surprise but they decided to tell me because they didn't want me to go into labour from the shock and excitement! I'm very excited, and my mum and sister are coming down for it. Then next week I can finish up baby shopping (if my husband will let me out of the house!).

you commented on me and my sisters picture in the photobook-- I am 33 weeks now.. and my sister who was 29 weeks were trying to have a baby. We both were pregnant with our 2 yr olds... they are 5 weeks apart. My other sister who is 10 weeks wasn't trying because this is her 4th pregnancy and we think she might be having twins this time!!! But it just worked out that we are all having babies in the same year.. pretty neat!

How are things going with you? That's awesome that your husband is good about the bedrest - some men just don't seem to get it! It takes so long to recover from the death of an animal - and it is so hard to get used to them being gone. The first time I went back to my parents' place after our dog died, I kept calling her and wondering where she was; takes a lot of getting used to!

Things have been exciting on this end! On Monday night I went into preterm labour and they kept me in the hospital until Friday on bedrest, so I definitely have sympathy for you!!! It made me very convinced that I want to be out of the hospital ASAP after our baby is born! Thank God they were able to stop it, and now I've had those steroid shots that help Baby's lungs develop, just in case it does decide to arrive. Baby seems extremely healthy, though - weighing in at 4 lbs 9 oz!!! That's two weeks ahead... so we're trying to keep it from coming for the time being, but I'm thinking that 36 weeks will be just about perfect if I don't want to give birth to a monster!!! I'm not on bedrest anymore, but really have to take it easy because as soon as I do too much I get painful BH - and I'd really like to keep this baby inside for at least 3 more weeks. Every extra day inside counts - you know what that's like!

hmm... am tired of the constant peeing too. we're almost there and i am soooo impatient now. and yet sooo eager to keep the baby in till its time. my next visit is scheduled for this tuesday. lets see how it goes and what the doc tells me. am kida used to staying in bed now. it doesnt get to me as much as it did the first few weeks.

Actually Wal-Mart even has really CUTE stuff on their website and it's not too expensive. I would check that out too. We have been blessed with awesome friends and family. They have helped us out tremendously with gifts & the BIG items. But nonetheless, when I had my first child things were VERY tight but it did not matter... I managed (at a very young age) to get everything in line before baby got here. Soo stop worrying!! :)
