Wednesday, 7 May now adays people are just rude...it seems as if nobody thinks of anyone but themselves...sorry you had to go through that experience.. mrsjcarr -
Wednesday, 7 May Thank you so muuch! Take care and good luck! heather518 -
Wednesday, 7 May Well you're alot nicer than I am! I would've been like, 'EXCUSE ME I NEED TO GO LIKE NOW SO TAKE THE PARTY TO THE DINING ROOM. THANK YOU.' hahaha I've noticed that I've gotten alot more assertive throughout this whole experience haha yeah I eat everything in 2's also...at this point, I don't really care if I gain weight because it's inevitable. I'll just try to stay away from the bad stuff. But I can't starve myself or stay unfulfilled! I'm sick of not eating what I want! Especially since I'm pregnant! It's been making me feel BETTER to actually indulge a little bit, but I always know in the back of my head not to go overboard. I'm also like, addicted to those little animal crackers haha so I eat about a million of those a day but at least I'm not having 3 Big Macs a day! heather518 -
Wednesday, 7 May Ya know, I just read your post on the 29 weeks page and that is SUCH a pet peeve of mine. I mean, if there are no chairs open and you are a healthy man or woman, get the eff up and let the prego have a seat. It's tiring carrying a 3 pounder along with a bunch of added weight on top of that. Especially for you since you've been on bedrest! Have some decency and get your ass up! Ughhh it's so annoying. OH and people who CLEARLY see me doing the potty dance but don't even think twice about just taking their time in the bathroom. I don't care how bad you have to go, I'm SURE I have to go more haha ugh I'm having an irritable day starting with people not even going the speed limit and I was late to work. So I passed the guy and straight up flicked him off. I wonder how classy that looks, a prego with her middle finger in the air hahaha ahh I couldn't care less at this point. And I'm staaaaaarving, I can't seem to get full. Those 100 calorie packs are a bunch of BS because 4 chocolate covered pretzels aren't doing ANYTHING for me haha ugh. sargsmom -
Wednesday, 7 May It has pink on all the letters and the bee and then a heart inbetween the letters! heather518 -
Tuesday, 6 May Hey there! Aw you should definitely TELL YOUR HUSBAND next time you are in that much pain! But congrats on the apartment? Did you talk to your doctor about your tooth? I know it is probably making everything seem a million times worse since your tooth hurts on top of everything else. I've been feeling pretty nauseated lately. And irritable. haha And today I've had like, period cramps...it feels like I'm about to start my period but I'm not bleeding or anything like that. Maybe it's just my uterus stretching? I have no idea and I'm flying out of state on Friday for a week for my baby shower and won't be able to go to the doctor until the 23rd! Ugh I hope we both start feeling better soon! haha 07babe -

Monday, 5 May Hey how are you feeling?? babyjohn -
Sunday, 4 May So your still hanging in there. Well I feel like I am following in your footsteps. I had a regular baby doctor appointment on Friday morning at 11:00. They checked me and I was dilated to a 1 and contracting.( Mind you the contractions were not painful and I have been having them since about 23 weeks.) So they put me in a wheel chair and took me straight over to the hospital where I was admitted. They gave me the indorithamiacin pills (sp) over the course of 24 hours along with the steroid shots for the baby. They also started me on the Procardia (SP) every 6 hours until I deliver . They kept me 48 hours to monitor me. My contractions have pretty much stopped and when they checked me this morning I made no cervical change, still at a 1. So I got to come home and am now on complete bed rest again. Are you or were you on any of these meds? NumberFive -
Sunday, 4 May awww ihope ur pain get better Boopy -
Saturday, 3 May Be careful when you move, it's so hard not to want to do things. We moved into our new home 3 weeks before I went into labor. The process and the upacking was very stressful. To honest...I believe that's when my labor started...I just didn't realize it because I had nothing to compare it to. Now that I look back to all the times where I was in pain...it was not normal by any means. When the pain got unbearable....when I was at work that sunday night....it was just too late. Trust me, I have learned a great lesson....I just wish my tolerance for pain wasn't so high. Next time around...since I will be high risk...hopefully I will be more aware of the symptoms of preterm labor. I'm very proud of you for being where you are at....and taking that damn medicine. The procardia was difficult to handle....but the mag almost killed me. Have you taking Mag sulfate intraveniously? My levels went up to 7.5! Completely toxic. Oh well...it gave me a couple more days to house my lil girl and get those steroids working. Boopy -
Saturday, 3 May Oh Lord...that does not sound good. Did the drs at least give you steroids for the baby's lungs just in case they can't prevent labor???? That was one of the first things they injected me with just in case all of the drugs they were going to give me would not work. And as you know...the drugs only prevented labor for almost 3 more days...but that gave time for the steroids to take affect. They said that if I did not have the steroids then my baby probably would have been intubated and would be in a way worse position. I mean...i had her at exactly 27 weeks. :o( I went into labor during my 26th. you are so lucky your baby is still in you, and maybe that's because you do get to rest. I have a job that requires me to stand for 9-18 hours!!! I can promise that next time around...I'll probably get bed rest at 5 months. That's gonna be fun. :o/ Well...you keep me posted....and go to the hospital if you have to....don't wait until Sunday night or your next appointment on monday like i did. Take care...and take it EASY!!!! No running around like a crazy woman!!!! Boopy -
Saturday, 3 May Hey there....yeah be careful with the head down position. Analise was in head down position for the last two months she was in me. I felt way too much pressure also....and I had to pee every 10 minutes! I knew she was ready to come out even before she was actually trying to come out. I know she looks bigger in the pics, but she is still below her birth weight. Today, she was 2 lbs. 4 oz. One more ounce to go and she will be at her birth weight! She is doing really well though. She does have episodes of sleep apnea and that is scary because she totally stops breathing and her heart stops briefly. Apparently this is normal for preemies....but I don't like it one bit. Also, she use to be the only one in the NICU...now there are 7 other babies in there!!!! She doesn't get the attention she use to get by any means! All of these babies will go home way before her though....she is the smallest/earliest. Well it was good to here from you...keep me posted chica. xoxoxo Boopy -

Thursday, 1 May I was on vacation and at a hospital that only delivers 300 babies A YEAR! So they aren't really good at the premie births...they believe that I had an infection and that caused me to go into labor all of the sudden. Now with my daughter I started to dilate at 30 weeks (they say your body remembers your first labor). And was 1cm when I went in and she said, no baby yet, go on bedrest...I made it to 34 weeks before I dilated more and the baby started to drop...so I stayed at 2CM for about 3 more weeks before going into labor. So I guess it just depends on the pregnancy huney. God has his plan now you just have to wait and see what it is. :) babyjohn -
Thursday, 1 May Glad to see that you are still hanging in there. If our babies would be born now, yes they would be small, and yes they would be in the NICU for a little while, but I think that they would be ok. Shoot, The first goal my doctor set for me was 28 weeks. Once I passed that I started breathing a little bit, but I'm with you, I really really really want to make it to 34 weeks!!! dvsrunt -
Thursday, 1 May I had my son at 31 weeks...I am only saying this to try and make you feel better about all this...he was 4lbs and so tiny, but he did great (he's 13 now and you would never know)! he never had to have forced air or anything. I know you are scared to death. But just keep in mind that the medical things they have now are great and your baby will be ok! Just keep your chin up and listen to the doctors and things will be ok. I remember when my son dropped...it was horrible, I actually felt him hit my pubic bone...and within 24 hours I was in labor! I was on vacation and there was nothing the doctors could do...so please just know that you have lots of support here. And I am saying a little prayer for you and the baby tonight. Just a few more weeks to go. MooMommy -
Thursday, 1 May Fingers crossed for you that you make it to your goal!!
