Friday, 18 April Hey, hope you're doing okay! Are you on strict bed rest? I know you were on bed rest before, but are they really making you stay in it now? You've got a super healthy baby growing inside of you, and even if he arrives a bit early, he'll be perfect. Best of luck, think positive thoughts! I'm sending non-contracting wishes your way! babyjohn -
Thursday, 17 April Do they know why you are starting to dilate? The pill that you are on every 4 hours, is it to prevent labor? Are you having contractions?
I was up at labor and delivery yesterday because I was having Braxton-Hicks contractions, and this week some were a little to strong for my liking. They checked me, luckily I was closed and "thick". They also hooked me up to a machine. I was contracting, but they were not labor contractions, not painful and sporadic, so they sent me home. They also did a test, where they tested some of my mucus (I know gross), to see if it is likely that I will have labor the next 2 weeks, and luckily the test came back negative, so it is likely that I will NOT have labor the next 2 weeks. Hang in there and good luck. keep me posted on how things go. Your other child wanted to come at 7 months, but they stopped everything right???? veroki -
Thursday, 17 April sounds scary, i hope everything goes smoothly. heather518 -
Thursday, 17 April Hi there! That's great that you are at least eating SOMETHING. It's better than nothing right? I've been having a little bit of nausea lately...it's really random seeing as I haven't had any since the first trimester. I have my Glucose Tolerance Test tomorrow and I'm not looking forward to sitting in that lab forever! I registered for classes in the fall at the community college where I live so I'm pretty excited about that. I'm definatly going to look at Ross though for maternity clothes...I didn't even know they had any there. Have you seen the doctor lately? How's the baby doing?? DianaBanana -
Wednesday, 16 April I know that it must be very nerve wracking hun. for sure. but just look on the bright side...medical services have come so far these days and babies born early get really great care! I was born really early to and...well, i turned out all right ( and... that was quite a while ago! ) if that makes you feel any better! I hope you arent feeling too terrible though? just relax and take it easy as you can. my thoughts are with you! have a great day! ircontre -

Tuesday, 15 April Keep your head up and hang in there. Did your doctor tell you to go back to the hospital if you have more than 4 contractions in an hour? Just wondering as my previous visits they told me if I had 6 in an hour to come right away, but after my last cervical chack the midwife said if I feel more than 4 to come in. rhonnott -
Tuesday, 15 April You're right, keep that baby in there as long as possible! My sister had a baby at 24 weeks and he had to have heart surgery when he was only two weeks old and he was in the hospital for 4 months. When he came home he was still on oxygen and had to go through a lot of physical therapy. He is 7 now and doing fine, just a little slower in school, and not because of smartness but because of social interaction. My niece had a baby at 29 weeks, but she had a few steroid shots as she was in the hospital for a month and a half before the baby was born, but her baby was in the hospital for a month and never needed oxygen but had to stay in the hospital until she could maintain her body temperature. She was born in January, so I can't tell you about long term affects for her...just hang in there. This is a great website to keep you entertained during your bedrest! Good luck and I hope the little one can stay put for while longer! brandiiAt16 -

Monday, 14 April good grief - hope things calm down for you. babyjohn -
Friday, 11 April Just curious, what type of meds is your doctor putting you on to help prevent preterm labor? I had labor and delivery with my second daughter at 23 weeks and she only lived for an hour. I am currently on progestrian(sp) shots once a week to help prevent early labor this time. At how many weeks were your other two children born? I have also been experiencing Braxton Hicks, which do scare me at times! I also experience pressure down low. Sometimes it is so intense I feel like going up to labor and delivery. The pressure is not constant though, it comes and it goes. Well hoping that I do not have labor and delivery at least until 32 weeks!!!! 07babe -
Thursday, 10 April oh wow that sucks u get all that stuff wile being on the pill. i just hope when i go on the pill it dosent do all those crazy things to me!! 07babe -

Thursday, 10 April omg your registry is tiny compared to mine, check mine out: Registry #: 44062066 . i would just suggest readin the reviews on what youve picked out, like the breat pump you have on there got really bad reviews. you have more products on yours like lotions, bath soaps, diapers, etc. mine is more bedding, pumps and accessories, high chair, you know the big stuff. Thursday, 10 April Hey! Cash is an awesome name! We don't know what we're having and it is driving me crazy! Wow, sounds like that car incident was scary! I hate it when people drive erratically, and that takes erratic to a new level. Thank God no one was hurt! I hope those BH calm down... I have a lot of them, but mostly they aren't very painful and thank goodness I'm not on bed rest. I don't know how you survive! I'm sure everyone has told you this, but sometimes BH can happen because you're dehydrated - mine got better when I started drinking more water (my mum is a nurse and I got the lecture!). It is so hard to drink what they tell you to drink!!!
Life here has been exciting, too. I'm having a really hard time with my crazy boss who 'laid me off' and now the labour board is involved and I think it is going to get messy. I worry about the stress that it causes me and the effect that has on the baby.... But hopefully it will get resolved in my favour and after Friday I don't ever have to go back again and put up with his abuse. There we go, now we've exchanged rants LOL.
Take care of yourself, your kids and your little one and keep in touch! lacilynn6 -
Wednesday, 9 April no im having him at harris in fort worth. it is a small world! heather518 -
Wednesday, 9 April Oh man I would've freaked out on that cop! haha I have had like, ZERO patience lately, I need to work on that before July! I eat a banana with peanut butter every morning for breakfast and I've really started to LOOOVE those Fiber One bars...They're amazing! I also eat Boca Burgers alot...and the morningstar chicken patties because sometimes meat just grosses me out...She was really hurting my ribs yesterday, I had to go home early from work because the pain was unbareable...and I laid down for a while and then got up and went to the gym and I felt better. I have to take the glucose screen test on the 18th...have you done yours yet? heather518 -
Tuesday, 8 April Aw thanks that actually made me feel ALOT better! haha I hope I will be able to take all the weight off pretty quickly, and I'm def going to at least TRY to breastfeed. I've cut sugar and carbs out of my diet as much as possible and I've been hitting the gym every day after work doing 45 of cardio and weight training. I'm careful not to go to hard but it's so frusterating because I want to! ahh but thank you I really really appreciate your encouragment! How's your pregnancy going? Chaos -
Tuesday, 8 April Hi! That is terrible that no one will hire you because of your pregnancy. I know that, even though it is illegal, lots of people do it. Now that I have been laid off, I know that I will not be able to find a job for just two more months before my maternity leave - even if you don't tell them, its kinda obvious!!! It is not a good feeling at all.
I hope that things are going well with you and that your BH have stopped now that you are on bed rest. Do you know what you're having? We aren't finding out until the baby is born and it is driving me crazy! Congratulations and take care! queenbee -
Tuesday, 8 April I seen your comment about not getting hired because your pregnant. I don't know what state your in, but in California there is laws that protect you while you are pregnant. If I went for an interview, and the interviewer said that they couldn't hire me because I was pregnant, I would definately call the nearest maternity attorney-its called discrimination, and now that your pregnant your a protected class. Technically in California your not supposed to tell any interviewer your pregnant, or if you have any illnesses/disabilities, and vise versa-they cannot ask you either. Check your with your state laws on discrimination and pregnancy for where you live.
