mandabelle22 - Monday, 22 September Thanks for your comment and .....Yes, they told me it would be done at my 28 appt, gave the instruction sheet for the drink and actually gave me the drink. It's in my fridge right now. Well, if it tastes like some flat orange soda I can handle that.. lol... I know, everytime I would drift off to sleep last night I would get a hard kick that would wake me up, I think she's trying to prepare me for when she gets here.. lol... no sleep
Tastiecake731 - Monday, 22 September I think they stop the labor and if the baby is big enough go ahead with the c-section. I suppose it would all depend on how big the baby is and if it's ok to have them at that time. With Justen I didn't go into labor but boy was he ready to come out. He was 8 pounds 12.5 ounces.
TiffanyH - Monday, 22 September yeah...i have one. i had originally went yesterday to "the little clinic" at our local Kroger store and the nurse practioner there told me to go straight to the hospital. (i told the lady that i was only having normal uti symptoms...no fever, etc.) she said to go to the hospital b/c of the risk of it going to my kidneys and that it was better off to be safe than sorry. I then called my doc and she simply called in an antibiotic for me....didn't act like it was anything to be too alarmed over. I was just curious what everyone else's docs had to say about uti's. thank you for responding to me...i appreciate it!!
veesalazar - Monday, 22 September I went into labor with my daughter on the day I was scheduled for the csection. There were no rooms available at the time I got to the hospital (3am) so they gave me something that knocked me out for a while (not sure what it was) the next time I remember was going in to the surgery room and getting the spinal. My princess was born at about 10:45am so they had me asleep for many hours and I felt nothing and I guess it stopped the labor. Not sure if its the same everywhere. I remember I was so excited that I had actually felt real labor because I didnt go into labor with my first child on my own it was induced and I still had a csection.
bigmuma - Monday, 22 September I know. I asked like 3 times and he was so sure but i havent seen another scan pic like it...
lemonysickness - Sunday, 21 September Exactly. I think Reagan Kate Thomas would be an adorable name for her, either that or Audry Kate and he hates both =(
Tastiecake731 - Sunday, 21 September EWWWWWWWW that is sooo GROSS!!!! I've heard about it before but would NEVER ever think about doing it! Disgusting!!!
libbaby4 - Sunday, 21 September I noticed that most of the people that lived in the city of Louisville (where I lived) didn't really have southern accents, even though most of them had grown up there. However, even 30 miles south of the city, people have the Kentucky accent. Wierd,eh?
KelliMG (Spunky) - Sunday, 21 September Well there really wasn't, but 2 of the girls just like complaining about me (although it's laid off for a bit now)...so everytime I "cross" them, or their paths....I end up deleted. I've been keeping a bit more to myself this time around....well, at least not simply giving my opinion this time.
So, yes I remember that chat about my boys now!!! And Yes, I guess I do have "fans"...lol I do try to be here at least everyday (and with my laptop fixed now, I can be around more again), and our week is a bit of the chatty ones aren't we???LOL Actually we're spread out a few weeks, but we all try to sort of stick together!!
mandabelle22 - Sunday, 21 September omg... i've bought reeses cups and a bunch of smarties. I would have bought more but my doc appt was the day I went grocery shopping, so I had the weight on the scale fresh in my memory. :)
KelliMG (Spunky) - Sunday, 21 September Well thanks for saying hi!!! You wouldn't be the first that seems to like to keep up with me, which is flattering, but I have NO clue what makes me so interesting!!!LOL
I'm glad you stopped in....I've been deleted so many times (ok, only like 2 or 3 now), but I forget sometimes whom I've spoken with or made comments to, as everything disappears with your account!!!...Oh well!!
rebneter - Saturday, 20 September no problem!! hope he feels better soon, shingles is absolutely miserable...
rebneter - Saturday, 20 September i saw my dr a couple days ago and asked her about shingles (i work in a nursing home and a resident has them) and she told me if i have had the chicken pox and as long as the lesions are covered (ie under their clothes) that i don't have to worry. she told me to make sure i wash my hands good and just use common sense and as long as i don't come in direct contact with the lesions i would be fine. (they are spread though direct contact, especially when they are oozing). i am still a little overly cautious and paranoid though.. i'm not a dr but i think you would more than likely be fine as long as you aren't hugging or sitting right next to each other...?
mrswood - Saturday, 20 September Scary. My mom just told me about shingles and they are horrible. Some people can't even work after them, they never recover. I wouldn't risk it, I'm sure he'd understand. xx
cdsleigh - Saturday, 20 September My mother has shingles. Anyway to answer your question as long as he is not broke out you are good but if he is having a break out stay away!!!!
lemonysickness - Friday, 19 September They said it was because the urinary track wasn't just one way, that some of her pee was going back up into the kidneys and causing them to get irritated and swell. They said the majority of cases go back to normal but some have to go to high risk specialists and if the kidneys get to the point of where they are going to be damage then the mom has to be induced and the baby will have to have surgery. My doctor said she has never seen a case where it ended in surgery though. As for what cases it, no clue. My doctor told me there was absolutely nothing I could do to prevent it or help it.
