sunshines-bundle - Tuesday, 7 October Hahaha, contagious. Well least you know you will feel better in a few days. I just hope you don't get the cramping, it hurt soo bad I swear the baby was coming. LOL
AshleyD - Monday, 6 October Thank you for all your prayers, thoughts, and well wishes. This computer connection in the hospital only allows me to send short messages on rare occasions before losing connection but I wanted you to know how much you all mean to me. I could not do this without you!
suzied - Monday, 6 October I don't think it's weird to choose a female. My insurance only has male ob/gyns on the plan. so i didn't have a choice this time. I really really like him but this will be the first time he's down there. but my hubby will be there so i'll get over it i'm sure. thanks for you kind words.
~amy~ - Monday, 6 October Thanks for the comment on my blog. I just don’t know what to think about circumcision now. I was so against it for my own reasons but now I just don’t know. My mom told me that she wishes that she had gotten my brothers done when they were babies and she has ALWAYS been so against it- which has also thrown me for a loop lol. I’m pretty confused but am looking into it again. I still have awhile to decide if I am going to do it to Joel or not. I’m feeling different (getting back to normal) today about Bobby sexually and all.. I just think I was kinda in shock to find out about it after all this time. And I didn't think your comment was negative I always love any opinions!
kellimg (spunky) - Sunday, 5 October I remember the hiccup conversation and it was a group quite a few weeks ago though. It was when we all first started having those funky sensations. They ARE NOT hiccups...hiccups are very regualar in timing (as in not quick or close together) but more like when an adult has hiccups. and your whole belly moves in the rhythm.
What she is describing is what I've lovingly referred too as "seizures".....it's like all of the sudden very quick , fast and jerky movement in ONE area. I've also started to refer to her as doing "river dance" in my stomach, since it's in one spot and very quick and sometimes strong.
What I have been told by my OB is #1, VERY NORMAL #2 that they are very much like growth spasms or muscle spasms. AS the baby grows and the muscles and nerves are maturing, they will spasm just like an adults and we get those jerky movements. Plus they are still very cramped and they try to stretch, and the muscles can spasm then as well.
It's nothing to be concerned with in other words!!!

momiam3 - Saturday, 4 October You are so silly! I had a bad day and really needed that!
cowgirlygirl28 - Friday, 3 October Posted pic of my baby shower invite!
cowgirlygirl28 - Thursday, 2 October Saw my doc this morning. Sorry I havent updated till now but I was exhausted and the side effects from the terbutaline are horrible! My cervix is dilated and shortened. He said if I have another visit to labor and delivery he will have me use a terbutaline pump. The cathetar stays under your skin in your stomach and injects terbutaline constantly. He wants to do that at the last minute possible as body gets adjusted to it within a week or two and they will constantly have to up the dosage..Which they dont want to up it too much as large doses of it can cause heart failure in the baby once born. He still doesn't think I will make it past 28 weeks but of course I am pushing for much longer. I am gaining weight finally, 4 lbs since last friday and 7 lbs the last 2 weeks which is awesome. Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts. Me and the little bub need them. I am home all day by myself but hubby is only 8 minutes away. I am usually sleeping most the day until my 11 year old girl gets home from school so that helps alot.... Oh for all of you thinking it is too early to buy the big stuff for baby...it is NOT too early as you never know when you wont be able too especially for those of us who are on bed rest..We have gotten all the big stuff so far but a stroller which is great. I know my little man won't be using the stuff for a long while but it is less you have to worry about and if he does come early he will be in nicu and shopping will be the last thing on my mind.
AshleyD - Thursday, 2 October Hey girl. I saw you talking about slugs, hahah. Im still here but not many more contractions so back to the monitoring, ugh.
cowgirlygirl28 - Thursday, 2 October It is 3:30am here and I just got home from Labor and Delivery. I was in full blown labor and am dilated 2cm...They gave me terbutaline twice and monitored me. Now I am on complete bedrest and have to follow up with my Doc in a few hours.....
babybirdsmom - Wednesday, 1 October I am doing great, a little mortified at the scale right now, but I don't understand where the weight is.......I am not that much bigger........but I have gained duh duh duh 30# total. Granted it could have been time I weighed and what I ate and not having taken care of business for a few days (apple juice here I come), but I was upset when I saw 190 on scale. Bryson is moving all over the place with his yoga and kickboxing classes, he is such a self motivator being able to do those classes without an instructor in the womb Hope you are well, take care of yourself and update me. Hugs Andrea
