Friday August 10th..

We finally had our little boy!!!

Being 6 days overdue it seems all of a sudden he was in a rush to make an appearance..Got to labour ward at 8:00am and he was born at 8:55am weighing 8lb 10oz so all the worrying about my consultant and midwife saying he was going to be really large was for nothing.Managed on just gas and air and he was born with no complications what so ever. I stayed at the hospital for 6 hours after delivery then was allowed to bring him home and hes just perfect!!

good luck to all the other mums expecting their new baby and a big congrats to all the mums who've recently had theirs!

Thursday July 12th..Growth scan!!

went to hospital today to get a scan done to check calum's estimated birth weight as my midwife said he was measuring way over average. I'm 36 weeks+5 and he is already weighing 9lbs and i have just over 3 weeks till my due date...omg!!

I have put up a pic of my 4d scan as my display pic, darren and myself were amazed at how clear they are, we've never seen a 4d scan before as its not usually available at our hospital but they've recently updated the machine so the tech did it for us free of charge and told us not to tell anyone so it was a nice suprise.So were looking at a chubby 10 pound baby any time soon..chat to you all soon

Tuesday July 3rd 2007..35weeks + 3!!!!

Not too long to go now i'm almost there, and it cant come quick enough. we have everything for the baby and we are ready for his arrival, just need him to get here lol. A lot of people have asked if im getting nervous about going into labour.. and yea i could think of many less painful things to go through but i say..''once hes theres he has to come out''.Me and my partner just cant wait to meet him now.On my last a/n appointment the midwife said she thought the baby was really big so im going on JULY 12TH for another ultra sound scan for a rough idea of his birth weight. (i've never had small babies,my daughter was 8lb 8oz and my son was 9lb 8oz). My midwife thinks calum maybe bigger again so shes said its best to check and possibly induce me a week or two early depending on my scan results so i'll keep you all posted, Hope all you mums to be are keeping well...take care, chat soon

update!!

went for our second scan and everything was great,we had a set of really clear scan pics.We could see it was a lil boy before we were even told lol it was kind of obvious on the monitor.We are both over the moon,he looked really comfy in there with one hand behind his head and his thumb in his mouth...sweet!.Such an amazing feeling seeing them moving around having their own little personality already.Now we can buy all the blue things we seen and like and get ready for when he comes. we have decided to call him...

~~Hello all, Myself and my partner found out just before christmas were expecting a baby and were both over the moon!!.Came as a suprise as i went to the doctors for toothache lol.What a cool christmas present.

Although your doctor tells you your expecting there's nothing like the feeling you get seeing your baby movin around on your first scan which we had on the 17th january, it was amazing !! had such nice scan pics which i think we've shown to everyone we know lol

I'm havin my second scan on the 21st of march and can't wait and being the nosey person that i am we're gonna find out what we're having.Neither my partner or myself mind, boy or girl, but it means i can shop,shop shop lol !!
