This is our first child, and to be honest we're both scared out of our minds, but super excited at the same time.

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

It was happening quite a few times a day and he also moved his arms and legs in a rythmic motion. His daddy would always say that he was starting his engine because it looked like he was reving (sp)? a motorcycle.

My sister's baby had seizures when he was around Wyatt's age. They did an EEG and everything seemed normal. He is almost 3 and has not had any more since he was an infant. Hopefully this will be the case for Wyatt. My sister has epilepsy and she has done great her whole life. I know not much can comfort you right now, but I will definately keep you and your family in my prayers.

I'm sorry about your little one's seizures, you must be really worried - I can only imagine what you are feeling. I don't know of anyone who has had many repeated seizures although I know of a little boy who had 2 and was fine. I really hope all works out - stay strong

My friend's baby was having mild seizures that they began to notice around 5 mths old. They couldn't figure it out & he had many, many tests done. You definitely need to take him to a neurologist that deals with babies. It turned out that my friend's little guy has what is called "West Syndrome". I know it has a wide range & each child is affected differently. She was told that he might outgrow it as he gets older. Don't panic yet though - I'm sure you are very worried (as I would be too!) but until you have a diagnosis you don't know if it's indeed serious. Best of luck to you & your LO!! I hope he is just fine!

I'll be praying for you and your baby. Be patient and pray for peace in your heart and understanding of your situation. He will answer your prayers. Just know that, as well as you know the sun is going to rise tomorrow. Say it out loud. A LOT!! Keep telling yourself that God WILL protect Wyatt. It's all you have and all you can do in a situation like this. Just have faith, believe it and be faithful in your prayers. I know how hard it is. Nate was soooo sick in his first month. I just read your post. My cousin's baby has epilepsy and the seizures started young in her baby. He is 8 now and leads a very normal life. They were able to give him medication that keeps the seizures under control and they are very rare now. I hope there is an explanation for what is happening with your baby and that everything will be OK.
