Nina I was glad to see your question as I am experiencing the lower belly jelly thing too! It's sort of loose water balloon-esque and it scared me, but the baby is still moving, and other than feeling a bit tender, I think it's just the baby moving further down and in.... at any rate, I'm experiencing the exact same thing if it makes you feel a little less alone! Cheers, Pam

the bottom of my tummy has never gotten hard...it's always been jelly like throughout the whole 9 months...my doc says it's nothing to worry about because your uterus contracts from the top to the bottom, so don't worry. If you're still worried ask your doc at your next visit.

Hi, yesterday i noticed my skin on my stomach is more stretched out as if it were bigger. i can already feel a little loose skin under my belly. i got really worried yesterday and now im not looking forward 2 what my tummy will look like after babys out since i already have loose skin and hes still in there.

Hi, Thank you for the comment the doctor said baby was a little over 7 pounds and I was 36 weeks 3 days on that ultrasound so I dont know if it will be a big one my son however they said was 8 pounds at my 38 week ultrasound and he came out over 10 pounds so I really dont trust the Ultrasound to much!! How much did they say your baby weighed?

kassyfk - Thursday, 9 October
I wouldnt worry. Ive had the same thing. I went in to the L & D Tuesday and they said its normal

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hey, no worries. The important thing is that the baby is healthy and if a c section is the best, then thats just what we do. I've known I was going to have to have a c section for a while now. My boy already weighs over 8lbs...big head and big shoulders won't fit through a small pelvis without complications. It wasn't my birth plan at all, but looks like the little man had plans of his own. Best to you.

Hi there! I thought I would check in with you and see how you are progressing. I am so ready, but Shawn is just fine where he is. Little stinker...but it is good.
I am fearful of going to 42 weeks again. I would hate to be induced again.
How is baby? Do you like your midwife now? Fill me in girlfriend. Keep me posted. Take care-have a good rest of the weekend.
