hey there. Things here are going fine. Logan is doing well. He sleeps alot during the day though, which has me a little concerned. I'm afraid that he doesnt have enough awake/alert time. He always falls asleep while we nurse, and usually only will nurse for 10-15 minutes. I've been afraid that my milk supply is getting low, also. I was doing so well before, nursing and pumping 6-8oz. Now, there are times that I pump and don't even get 1/2oz. In the mornings, I can only get 3-6oz. I've been on some meds for my BP and after she changed my prescription, I noticed the decrease in supply. Now I'm having to work hard to build it back up. Other than that, and a little soreness in my boobs, we're doing fine. How are you and little Marli doing? I bet you guys are like us-- sleeping as much as you can and findng that you have little time for anything! Hopefully it will get better soon. I hope that you girls are doing well. Take care and hope to talk to you again soon.

He was born at 6#,6oz and was 8#, 14oz at 6 weeks. BUT...he lost much more weight than most babies and was under photo therapy in the hospital so it took longer to gain weight back. He is getting there though:) I know...Marli and Johnny I think have very close birthdays. His is the 15th!

How big is she? I know, sometimes I just put him in the sling so that no one can touch him. It's incredible how strangers just grab at your baby. Very odd, just like they can't keep their paws off your baby bump!

Hola Mami!

Alex and I are doing great. She gets cuter and cuter every day. She is such a little porker--already over 12 lbs! Nobody can believe she is only 6 weeks. She looks like she could eat other babies for breakfast! Lol!

My only complaint is that I'm a big fatty and I swear that holding a beautiful little angel in my arms only makes me look fatter. I finally started watching what I eat on Saturday because I can't stand being fat anymore. I still have 30 lbs to lose--I guess being on bed rest for 4 months really screwed me up.

So how are you and Marli doing? Miss you!

Vomiting can happen like that. Aydan has done it a few times. I will tip him over hold him with his head facing the gound and bottom up to get the rest out. Also have one of the bulb surg. to be about to suction out the rest from the mouth. Hope this helps

I feel the same way about everyone. I hope to be able to keep in touch. I've heard that alot of the girls are still posting over in the babies section now. I might try to keep up. I have to admit though that this kid is keeping me soo busy. Even though my milk is coming in very well, he eats it as fast as I can pump it. And he is nursing some but will only do it for a little while and only on one side (I don't know why). He eats more than 3oz at each feeding and he's only a week old. Sometimes he'll eat 4 oz or more! Anyway, its feeding time and I just wanted to pop on here and reply to ya. You're awesome too and I miss getting to talk like we did when the babies were still in the belly but know that I'll be around any time you need or just want to talk. Take care, chica. And you always have a friend in po-dunk KY!

Thank you. I miss chatting with you, too. I couldn't wait to get home and post that I finally had him. Nina, he is so perfect and wonderful. Just looking at him sometimes makes me cry (hormones..lol). But really though, he has changed me so much. I can't begin to tell you how blessed I feel. I never really wanted to be a mom to begin with, and now I can't believe that I didn't want such a wonderful gift. As for recovery, its been kinda tough as I'm refusing the percocets. Nursing is going okay, although he's decided that he likes a bottle more than the boob. So, I've been pumping twice a day and getting about 8oz each time. So, the boy is eating well. He eats about 2.5oz each feeding, sometimes every hour. He had some jaundice and had to get light therapy but is way out of the danger zone now and doing great. I hope you and Marli are doing great also. Think about you girls each day and hope that things calm down once we get into a routine so we can catch up a bit. Take care of yourself and I hope we can talk again soon. *hugs*

Hey nina.. I'm home now. I had Logan on Friday afternoon by c-sect. I'll post a birth story later and put up some pics. We haven't gotten hardly any sleep (averaging 2 hrs per night since thursday night) and I'm dead tired. I just wanted to let you know what was going on and say thanks for checking in on me. Hope you and Marli are doing well...
