Friday, 16 May I sure am! I know people don't guess it with my blue eyes. I got lucky with those--they must be a DNA remnant from our Spanish heritage because nobody in my family has blue eyes except me. I have family in Caimito, Carolina, and Dorado. There are not too many PRs in Cali. That was part of why I wanted to go to NY for school, because I thought I was going to be with my peops for the first time! LOL! Little did I know I was going to be in like the snootiest yuppy neighborhood that had zero Puerto Ricans! LOL! That's what I get for hopping on a plane, sight unseen, to go across the country to somewhere I had only seen on TV. It was fun and exciting though. I kept walking around with the line of "New York, New York" in my head, "If you can make it there, you'll make it anywhere. . . " I still miss it a lot, but since I am attorney, I just felt that the lifestyle is too crazy there for me to settle down long term. Attorneys in Manhattan work insane hours, and then party like rock stars all night. I don't know how they do it. I wanted to settle down and find a hubby and make babies, so I came back to Cali. :) socalgal -
Friday, 16 May Interesting. I have never been there. I had family living in some projects in Spanish Harlem (I am Puerto Rican), but to be honest I only went up there once. I could get a cab to drop me off there, but a yellow cab would never pick me up there! lol! Sounds really nice further north. I probably passed through there on the Metro North? And I really mean it when I say your cat is gorgeous. I love the long hair. It must just be a lot of work to care for her gorgeous coat! socalgal -

OMG! Your cat is so gorgeous! But I think just coughed up a furball from looking at her! socalgal -
Thursday, 15 May So Nina, where you at in NYC? I went to NYU for law school so I used to live right next to Washington Square Park. I loved it! I lived pretty close to John's, but my favorite was Lombardi's on Spring St. Used to be a tiny hole in the wall when I lived there, but now it is big and fancy. They are on Spring St. and they only sell by the pie, not the slice. I usually went to Ben's for a slice and put lots and lots of the yummy garlic powder. Yum! Pizza just isn't the same in Cali. Although they supposedly opened a John's out here and they ship the dough from NYC so it will taste the same. I have not gone down to see for myself though. Somehow I doubt it could ever be the same. mommyballs -
Thursday, 15 May i've got my fingers crossed for you! socalgal -
Thursday, 15 May Do a bikini wax while you're at it. My hubby laughed his butt off when he found out I did that so everything would look nice and neat for baby! ;)

Wednesday, 14 May About the itchy thing, I got that too. I think it's kind of a heat rash thing going on. It drives me nuts. I take a lot of showers when it gets bad and lie naked to dry for a while (I know TMI !). It's still not going away though powder helps to keep it dryer. Also make sure the liners are not scented in case you are sensitive to that. TC :) cha17ce -
Wednesday, 14 May Regarding your comment on itching..heh...I've been having that lately, too! My doc says it's due to the swelling and rubbing when we walk and the PH balance down there since we're not ovulating and not producing enough moisture...so I totally feel ya. =P pregodee -
Wednesday, 14 May f the TMI. We all need to know whats going on with each other otherwise we would be walking around in the dark! I get itchy sometimes. Maybe it's because we swell? I find it happenbs when I'm a little swollen down there. not like I can see it (Not for a month and a half) but mirrors are useful. What do you think? Daisy04 -
Wednesday, 14 May Nina...yes on the itch down there...some days I could scratch it off...I asked the doc about it and he said its common later in pregnancy with the hormones racing. It drives me crazy at night...although there is nothing wrong he told me its ok to use a little Vagisil to calm the itch....what us poor ladies have to go through..!! JES76 -
Wednesday, 14 May Hi - Glad to hear your baby is much more acive today! Your comment about her being a "private baby" made me laugh. Everytime I go to the Dr's where they do an u/s I drink a ton of juice on my way there and while in the waiting room she is just dancing inside. As soon as the u'/s is turned on she stops moving and just kinda hangs out. She will move her head, arms and legs a bit and practice breathing, but nothing like the HUGE movements she usually does. I think she knows we are spying and gets shy. LOL! * Elizabeth Rain And Delilah Roses Mommy * -

Monday, 12 May Good to hear! jennymama -
Monday, 12 May I hate when my baby has sluggish days! It scares me too! Usually the movements pick up by evening (just in time for bed) and return to normal the next day... I know our babies will come when they are ready, but don't you just want yours in your arms now!? MommyJewels -
Monday, 12 May Yeah...I think that us in week 37-38 do a lot of bitching to each other...that is why we all get along so well and love each other. I just don't get posting on week 25,26,28,29,30,32,37,39 and 40 just to create conflict.

Monday, 12 May I have trouble dividing attention between three dogs and end up calling them by each others names...lol. I am not strong enough to have that many kiddos:) MommyJewels -
Monday, 12 May Hi sweetie-
Oh I wasn't saying anything to you. I just thought the girl who posted it said it RUDELY...she posted it on a TON of weeks and it just isn't her place to be accusing them of using the state. They don't use birth control because of their religion. I personally would NEVER EVER have that many kids so help me God and I think it is just insane to think about...but the woman who posted it just did it innapropriately and I guess she is pissing off a lot of people!
