And I thought waiting an hour for the Dr. was ridiculus!!! Listen, Hun, at least after you are done with your appointment, you can just call them to set up the next one, and they can just call in prescriptions, you just tell them which pharmacy (again, over the phone so you don't have to sit there forever!!!)

hey hun im okay just a bit worried not felt the baby today infact not fel it sinse yday when i had a really bad pain in my tummy now im scared
im gonna give it an hour or so coz iv just had dinner n then ring the midwife n see what she says:( boooo!

FIFTY stitches down there? I have to be at the hospital for an induction in 5 hours. Now I'm really not going to be able to sleep tonight. That thought freaks me out. FIFTY!!??

Oh honey! You are NOT a bad parent at all. You are having a hard time. A good friend told me that all a baby REALLY needs to a "boob and a crib"....not even a crib but just a bassinet. I know things are tough right now...but that baby has you and that is all they really need. I'm sorry that your hubby lost his job and that you have been off work as well on bed rest. I know it's tough...but keep your pretty head up!

Dont feel like your a bad parent already your giving your child the miracle of life thats a gift all in its own. My parents had nothing when they had me and most of this stuff we think we need we dont. my mom said all she had for me was a crib and a high chair thats it. Im thinking of returing all this crap just cause I feel like its a waist of money. Your not goin to need a crib at least for 3 months. All your baby is going to need is you and you being happy means everything.
Things will work out they always do. If I lost my b/f right now I would have nothing cause im a hairdresser and If I dont work I dont make anything and he doesnt pay my bills Im lucky enough he pays the rent and Im in long island so its quite expensive here too. Keep your head up and think about how bad it could be. Im just trying to be positve for u.

Nina..sorry to hear that happened to you...same happened with me with my first baby. This is my second baby and I have learned to be more vocal with the nurses and doctors. The last time I kind of just took the treatment and said nothing but this time Im laying down some of the laws...if you dont like they way they are doing something I urge you to say something. Even the nurses after I delivered had a terrible bedside manner. God help them if they are like it this time as I am ready for them. There is no need for it and lets face it...civility costs nothing. Good Luck to you hun and dont be afraid to speak up for yourself. xxx

Hi, I'm so sorry you had such a terrible experience! How awful. I would complain, as nicely as possible, to the person who makes the appointments. They can tell you when the best time and day to come in would be, since you have to go in every week now. Ask them why you can't eat or drink there, if its going to take you 4 hours to get through an appointment. Just to make your thoughts be known...and they might have a helpful suggestion. However, if I were you I would eat and drink before I went and bring some snacks for the waiting room too, because your pregnant and you need to eat and drink more often and they should know that! What fools! All those other poor pregnant ladies stuffed into that tiny room starving and thirsty...what could the management be thinking? Besides if you rebel and eat and drink anyway, what are they going to do? Its a high risk pregnancy doctor...everyone should be allowed to do what they need to be comfortable. And rebelling might make you feel better. Good luck!

That's ok, as long as you have meds, and are making sure you relax.. like I said, i'm in a similar situation in that I don't often know whether to go to hospital or not over certain symptoms - as i dont want to cause a fuss if its nothing! i dont have a home BP machine though.. keep me posted! : )

Hi, don't mean to 'scare' you but I would go to the hospital now, just to be on the safe side.. have u got any other symptoms?? - even if not, the hospital will be able to check your urine for protein.. good luck : ) i'm in a similar situation with my BP but don't have a home monitor..

us prego's need love and attention right now. Your man should be more attentive! Mine does the same thing every once and a while. I guess they just really have no idea what kind of changes happen to us while we are pregnant. Maybe sow him some of the respnses on here? Or show him a page from te book that says we really benifit from it? Hope it works out for ya!
