IT'S A GIRL!!!!!

Hello, my name is Lauren and im 22 years old. Im expecting my first child with my husband of 3 years in November. Right now he is deployed so he will miss most of the pregnancy, but the good thing is he will be back before the baby is born. i have been checking this website ever since i found out i was pregnant, but i just decided to join so i can chat with other mommies to be. I cant wait to find out what the sex of my baby is, but i have to wait until i'm 20 weeks. I've looked at the chinese birth chart and it says im having a girl. But i've asked other people and it has been wrong for them so im not too confident. I guess i will just have to wait.
Im finally starting to feel better since the terrible morning sickness has finally gone away. I'm really looking foward to the rest of my pregnancy now. Im especially excited about feeling the baby move for the first time.
Also when i heard my baby's heart beat it was 170 it was so amazing.

June 29th
Well im 20 weeks and 5 days today and i have been feeling the baby move around quite a bit, which is so amazing. The baby seems to be more active at night and lately i have been craving alot of spicy food and after i eat something spicy the baby is really active. Im going to find out the sex on July 3rd, Im so excited i cant wait!
July 6th
well my ultrasound appt was on July 3rd, and i found out im having a girl which is super exciting. I cant wait to meet her. During the ultasound she was so active that we couldnt get a good picture of her face so i have to go back in two weeks to try and get picture of her face.

Hi! Things are going good. I had my 36 week appointment yesterday and everything was great and I am measuring at 35 weeks, which I see as good because that really makes me feel like James will make it home in time.
Honestly the last week and a half has gone by fast but now it seems to be slowing a bit more so because James is coming home and that last bit of time before he gets home always drags, especially that last week. We were just on the phone and he was telling me how it's been just over seven months and now we only have three weeks until he comes home, but then I told him how these three weeks will seem so much longer than the last seven months. LOL!
I am so excited and anxious about everything though.
How are you doing?

I"ve been good, getting these weird cramps in my legs at night when I'm trying to sleep..not liking that very much. Other than that great...Masen moves all the time I love it! I have 4showers and my first is this Sunday..I'm so excited for it to be here already! Then I have one at the end of the month, then my other two will be in August. I want presents! :)

Sorry to hear about your aunt. My pregnancy is going great, we've started to get her nursery ready and I'm having a shower next weekend so it's starting to go by pretty fast now! When do you find out what you're having and how've you been feeling?

That's so exciting...just two weeks and you will know.
The only thing I don't like about seeing military doctors is that you only get one ultrasound the entire 40 weeks when my doctor back in Chicago gives an ultrasound at every appointment. I was going to make an appointment to have an ultrasound done back in May but they couldn't guarantee me that the tech would keep the sex a secret so I said no. I figured if I had waited that long already and someone told me it would be upsetting, especially if I had paid for the ultrasound. Although I think so far I have had about 5 or 6 ultrasounds because at the beginning there was some spotting but they said that was normal for me.
We think we are having a boy, but will be totally happy either way....we just want a healthy baby. About a month and a half ago I had a really vivid dream where I saw our baby...it was a boy. It was so real and he was wearing an outfit that we have already bought and sitting next to my SIL's baby.
I think at this point I am really just getting anxious for James to come home on his R&R and then the baby can come. In a way I feel like the next 6 weeks are just going to drag by.

Thats exactly how I feel. All of a sudden I am more tired than ever, dizzy, and cry about everything! I find out what I'm having tomorrow at 10 in the morning! I can't wait! What about you?

Thanks you so much for your prayers!!! I used to always sleep on my tummy! No way now. I cant beleive all the different positions I have ended up in trying to get comfortable lol Laso, they dont tell you that cute wonderful kicking we all love so much becomes quite uncomfortable as well later on. Although it is still comforting and reassuring everytime you feel it. :-) Change is very hard. We have a lot going on here. I was in a car accident 3 weeks ago (baby and i are fine) but car was totalled. My husband has been very sick for 3 weeks and they dont know whats going on. And on top of it all, our landlord is having his house forclosed on so we have to move!! It sucks to much change all at once!

And I thought it was hot here...whoa! Well with our humidity it feels that way. I think this weekend it was 98. I bet you can't wait....I feel like you're having a girl..not sure why? YEs I miss sleeping on my stomach so badly..I can't wait for the first time I can again! Got a long ways to go for that..lol. Other than that I've been good, ready to get some baby furniture...I think we found what we want at baby's r us, but my cuz told me she found some good stuff at sears so we are going to look there this weekend I believe before we make our decision! Other than that..just ready!!

Ya we were hoping for a girl so it worked out. Either way we would have been happy. I am feeling pretty good. I have allot of heartburn but its better than the nausea. I am still tired but I have more energy than I did in the first trimester. Overall we are doing good. Im glad you are doing good. Let me know what your having when you find out...how exciting.

It's so exciting at this point but I am getting a bit nervous. I told James that packing a hospital bag makes me really nervous....not sure why but it really does.
It seems like time is slowing down a bit. I guess it's because there are two really big events leading up to it.....James coming home for a little bit and the baby coming.
Wow....July 3rd....it will be here before you know it! Do you have any ideas as to what you may be having?

I am so sorry about your aunt. Thats horrible. Well yesterday actually we got amazing news. His condition we were worried about has basically corrected itself. He is developing normally and we are not expecting any type of problems with him developmentally afterwards. We are so thankful God has answered our prayers :-)

Oh my...I am so sorry to hear about your aunt. I hope you are doing well.

Things are still going great and I am really enjoying the pregnancy. Just under 8 weeks until the due date. I am getting so anxious. I only have a few items left to buy and then I am all ready for the baby.
