I am so proud to be the mother of Carson. Any doubt or fear I had has vanished. He is my greatest accomplishment, the best thing I've done in my life, and the greatest gift I've ever received. A whole new love is created when you first see your little one enter the world. I couldn't be more proud of anything! I catch myself starring at him thinking how beautiful he is and the fact that he was created from us. I can't wait to share the rest of my life with him.

Thats good you have another appt. Hopefully something good comes out of it! Yeah huge is not even the word these days, I seriously can't wait to go up my stairs w/o sweating & sounding like I can't breathe, haha. Take care girlie :D

I can tell you what my check was like, but I don't know if it is normal or typical. ( Like I am either - LOL!) It hurt a little bit. Not like a stabbing pain,but quite a bit of pressure. When he finished there was blood on his gloves which prompted him to tell me I would spot. He said it was normal for up to 24hrs, anything after that get checked. Well, it was heavier than just spotting in my opinion. Made a mess of my panties I had on, ran off the liner! ( TMI-sorry) It was lighter while I laid down, but more active when I was up moving. The cramps were like mild period cramps. I have had some hum dinger cramps, so I considered it light. I did bleed past 24hrs, but didn't go back to the doctor. I was checked Thursday late evening. I kept spotting until mid Saturday. But by Saturday it was very light and I knew it was ending, so I let it go. Anyway, that was with my cervix closed. He did say he "thought" he felt her head, but she was a little too high up to be sure. Since you have lost your plug already you may be thinning out ( cervix) and maybe it will be different for you. I don't know.. I keep looking for signs of losing my plug or leaking fluid but so far nothing. Guess that is good. Tonight I have another check. I am going to ask him what his opinion is about how I will give birth. Due to her size and all does he see vaginal or is he thinking C-section. I want to have so warning if he is considering she will be a C-section.
I can't imagine having to go to class right now, I would never make it. I do not know if my age and weight factor in to how I feel, but I couldn't do much more now than what I am doing. I turn 39 tomorrow. I am actually looking forward to post delivery when you have that lightening feeling. When the back and hips and who-ha all start feeling "normal" again...
I am bummed about the showers in the fact it seems like no one cares. I am not so worried about the gifts as I am by the fact no one wants to be there for me. Right now I am basically set. Besides the crib, chnaging table and dresser I had in her room I also started getting some other needed stuff. My girlfriend from Cincinnati brought up a swing, a bouncy seat, a Boppy pillow, a music thing that hangs on the crib, bottles, an infant car seat, two jumbo packs of diapers and some more clothes. ( The kid will NOT have to worry about clothes for a while!) My friend that is throwing my shower has been awesome. Not only did he redo the room, he and his partner went garage sale-ing last weekend and got a diaper Genie, a full crib set ( old style Winnie the Pooh) a nice stroller, a high chair, a couple blankets and the CUTEST Christmas outfit for her. He also told me they were trying to find me one of those glider/ rockers for the room for my birthday but couldn't find anything in stock anywhere that would match the room. He is too much, but a great friend.
Anyway, things are moving along. I think we just want everything "set" from the minute they come. The truth is I don't need everything, I just want it for her. I know when my sister had her three she had much less and got by. ( until she gave them to my mom to raise that is) But the point is I know what I have will do and it is probably nicer than I could have ever expected. For that I am grateful.
Well, I need to get off of this chair. Everything is starting to hurt bunches - time to go lay down. I will check back with you soon. Since the countdown is on I want to stay in touch!!

So here is my update. Little Molly is still breech so my Dr is going to put me in the schedule for a C section for 2 weeks from today. Oct 29th at 8 or 10am. If both times are taken, I will choose another day. So for the next 2 weeks I will try everything I can to get her to turn and if she stays breech than we will just go for the c section. I don't want to have to worry about anything else, like an inversion and more pain etc. Now I can just try to enjoy the last two weeks of life with just the 2 of us. Unless she decides to come earlier. So thats it for now, I will hear by friday as to what date and time we will meet our little princess. Thanks everyone!

If there was a medical student w/any of my doctors I would let them know, whether I am just talking to them or having my vajajay checked out I DONOT want them/him in there. It sounds like its a nightmare!

So my appt. sucked! I came home & cried to John b/c I didn't get to see the doctor who said she wanted to induce me @ 37 wks. This doctor said that she'd like to wait til I get to 37 wks to schedule it (which I'll be 37 next thursday), BO! Avery didn't move to much & I had lots of contractions &&& she didn't do an internal. So I couldn't tell ya whats goin on down there...anywho good news is (I guess), is I do see the doctor who wants to induce me next friday & she will check me & I will have another nst.

I'm so over it, I hear ya on being moody, whoooaaweeee I am super moody, I'll actually do the honors & say I can be down right BITCHY! UGH but we deserve to be...even though it gets us NO WHERE, Right? Our poor boys....ughh so the saga continues for another week & I don't know when this kid is coming...I'm tempted to start doing the stuff that'll induce labor!

I am sorry to be AWOL lately. I was put on bedrest on Oct. 3rd and haven't been on the computer much. Besides the intense swelling, my weight shot up over ten pounds in one week and my BP was going up & down. ( it was high first reading at the doctor, then dropped by the second reading) I went back for a check on the 9th. My BP was ok and the swelling has gone down considerably. AND, I lost 7lbs! ( Now that's a diet plan I could love! LOL) But now his concern is I will go into labor early so he wants me to stay on bedrest. Rowen is measuring about term, even though we have a few weeks left. He is afraid my uterus will be tricked by her size and start early labor. SO he wants me to take it easy and keep the pressure off of things. He checked my cervix at that check, hope he doesn't do it every time. Caused a bit of bleeding and cramping. ( but was closed)
Anyway, my work said they would work with me about working from home. Because it isn't actually "maternity leave". So far they haven't let me do anything. I have no idea if I am being paid or not right now. I guess I will find out on payday. God I hope so or I am sooooo screwed!
I didn't have any showers. Work one was canceled since I wasn't there. I invited everyone to my shower that my friend is having ( this Sunday now) but NO ONE is coming! Isn't that something? I can't believe people. Not even MY friend from Cincinnati is going! The only people that will be there are people I have met through the friend having the shower. It really bothers me. I guess out of sight out of mind with these folks...

Yeah...I'm sure everything goes by so fast! My pregnancy has all the fun holidays to look forward to that always seem like they just past you in a second! Collin wants a boy! BAD. I keep telling him that by saying that so much, he's going to get a girl! lol

I can honestly say in our entire relationship the 3 bathrooms we have John has always done them, he likes them a certain way so he does them once a week; yipee for this girl, lol.

Hah skinny girls; doesn't it seem like even the people you know seem SKINNIER? My best friend came over the other night and I hadn't seen her for a week & I was like you look wayyyyy skinnier, haha.

Yeah that whole mucus word bothers me...I think men made up some of these words that we use during pregnancy. I can't believe you have to go through that with your doctor. I know these days I go in w/A TRILLION questions & I will be damned if one is not answered/ignored! IT's weird b/c @ my OBGYN there are 4 doctors & during your 9 or 10 months you have to see all 4 b/c one of them will deliver you. So I love them all, BUT 1 ofcourse. She had triplets about a year and 1/2 ago & says well I did this when I was carrying 3...blah blah, I've only had to deal with her twice & I pretty much told her the last time that was great in all but I'm carrying 1 & this is MY situation. SO anywho I go for the non stress test @ 2:30 & then see the doctor @ 3. I am SO PRAYING we can set an inducement date. I am hoping for Oct. 24th(next friday & I'll be 37 wks & 1 day) Talk to you later, I let ya know how it goes :D

I think it would be on the 28th. One week before my due date. I will find out more today. I have an appointment at 10:15am. I think I will probably schedule the C section and if she flips before, great! if not, there is a reason and it is probably safer to have the section. Wish me luck! I will post an update later today.

I am so done!! I have been having contractions for about a week now, my doctor checked me today and my cervix is closed tightly and long!! I get checked again at 38 weeks and if i am softened then they will induce. You should be pretty soonif you already lost your mucus plug. Any contractions yet?

I def. feel like you...with the whole pot belly pig thing. UGH! I'm so glad you said something about the nesting. Like I hear everyone saying "I think I'm nesting, I cleaned the house top to bottom" well one me and the BF are pretty compulsive about the house staying clean & 2 I am right along with you, I am def. not gonna be leaning over a bath tub, for goodness sake I'd probaley tip over & wouldn't be able to get up! I feel ya on not being motivated...I feel so lazy its not funny.

Thats funny you asked if I dropped, John said last night it looked way low & I realized one of my favorite tank tops doesn't completley fit over my belly anymore (its quite gross in my opnion) so I guess maybe...I think its just her big ol' head making gravity pull my belly down, lol! Have you dropped yet? Oh & be careful girl walkin all around campus, thats scary...I know these days I tip over just trying to get off the couch!

Hi Girls! I need some advice. My baby is still breech at 37 weeks and I need to make a decision by tomorrow as to what I'm going to do. Have a C section or try the inversion which is not pleasant and could end in a c section anyway. Its such a hard decision. I feel like I will be missing out on a natural birth by not trying but it seems safer to go with the C section for me and the baby. And I guess it would be nice to skip the labor part! Its all I can think about and I loose sleep over it. Anyone going through the same thing?
