I am so proud to be the mother of Carson. Any doubt or fear I had has vanished. He is my greatest accomplishment, the best thing I've done in my life, and the greatest gift I've ever received. A whole new love is created when you first see your little one enter the world. I couldn't be more proud of anything! I catch myself starring at him thinking how beautiful he is and the fact that he was created from us. I can't wait to share the rest of my life with him.

2cm is pretty good! I am only 1.5 as of yesterday! I bet you go before next Tuesday, my sister-in-law is the nurse manager for womens health (obgyn) and she told me that most women when they come in for delivery are usually about 4 cm dialated so you are 1/2 way there!! plus with the membrane sweep maybe it will get things moving!! Keep me posted!

2cm is better than nothing! I haven't had the sweep done but I have really heard that they kill! But, if it works, who cares how much it hurts? lol

Hey thats better then him saying "we mine as well make an appt for next week, I don't see you going into labor" haha! Just trying to cheer you up! I'm glad he did the sweep, hopefully your little man will be making an appearance soon :D Oh & Happy Election Day !

Awww good luck!!! I hear membrane sweeps work great for some people - but I've had 4 now and I'm still here! Boo!! lol... I don't think I'm a fast progressor though - I needed the help of pitocin with my first one too. I guess my body just doesn't like to go into labor on its own. GRR... Good luck hun!!! Keep me posted!!!!

He said that if i was dilating he'll do the sweep thing to help things go faster. I was so upset when he told me, that it didn't even pass my head to ask him. And i'm drinking primrose since week 36.: tongue

Labor was ok I guess. I was induced, and they put a cervadil in. After a few hours with that my contractions got so strong they had to take it out. I literally only had time for a breath in between the contractions. It was all back labor, so my epidurl didn't even work so I felt everything!! But I only had to push for 15 minutes..so that was good!! But as soon as he came out I forgot about all the pain!

Yeah...I'm at a desk pretty much all day so it shouldn't be too bad. You go to school an hour away from home?? How in the world do you do that? Hopefully you don't have school everyday!

When can you start getting braxton Hicks? I never really knew what they were to be honest until now.

Things are fine between the boy and I. And I read what you wrote, it wasn't that he was partying that whole time, he was so sick that whole next day that he couldn't move much less drive home. I definitely gave him my piece when he got home though...he felt bad like he should. :)

Can you believe Thanksgiving is weeks away! its pretty much my fav holiday (well I say that about every holiday) you'll have your little one with ya! how exciting

Hi mommy's and almost mommy's.

Molly Elizabeth was born on Oct 29th at 8:22am 6 lbs 4 oz 20 in long. She is perfect! We are so in love with our little angel. She is a great baby. she doesn't cry much at all. We got 6 hours of sleep on our first night home. I had to wake her to nurse and she went right back to sleep. She was a little jondice because she was fake nursing for the first few days but she is nursing very well now and her color is getting better. The C section went well. It was scary but I am recovering fast. The hospital stay was great! Thanks for all your nice comments. I will reply to your messages as I can but don't have much time. Hope you are all well. Its so great to see everyone is having their babies now. Its the most exciting time in our lives!!!!!

I hear ya!! I am getting jealous too. I finally lost my mucus plug yesterday so now I am hoping that I go into labor befoe my scheduled section. I want to at least try a vaginal delivery. but who knows. At this point They could take her out of my toe if it meant that she would finally be here. Your turnis coming hang in there I am sure it will be soon!!!

LOL, I don't think John would ever tell me no...he's seen how painful its become & uncomfortable! I'd let Kenny know what ur gonna do if you decide to & why...sometimes the first one needs a little help getting things going! John asked if I was scared about being induced, I told him yes, but then I think of being pregnant another week& I almost cry & being induced and pushing Avery out does not sound bad AT ALL!

Really? I was planning on working all the way up til the day he comes but I dont know anymore. I get 12 weeks of maternity leave and I want that all spent with the baby. I guess I'll just play it by ear.

You're having contractions?? Are you in pain yet? wow I bet you'll have him sometime this week definitely! I always check to see the last time you were online and if its been a long time I get excited for you! lol

Yeah i am really mad at him and he knows it! he probably could drive home he just didn't want to get the wrath of me...well its going to be worse now since its freakin sunday!! We had plans to get things for the house all day yesterday and now it was pretty much a waste of a day. God I could strangle him sometimes lol

I saw your nursery for the first time today. OH MY GOD its adorable!! Carson will pretty much be born an athlete! And you look so prepared with all your baby soaps and diapers....Such cute ideas, I can't wait to start on mine! I just need to paint and decorate the rest of the house first which is taking forever!

I am so mad at Collin right now...He is STILL not home from the halloween party that we went to on Friday night. I have never seen him so drunk in my life. There were 20 year olds there and here he is almost 26 acting way worse than them! I had to work the next morning so I had to leave but he has a car, he just wasn't well enough to drive home all day yesterday. (the party was at our friends who live an hour away) I think normally, I wouldn't be as upset, but lately I've been more moody than normal and I let him have it yesterday!!
