I am so proud to be the mother of Carson. Any doubt or fear I had has vanished. He is my greatest accomplishment, the best thing I've done in my life, and the greatest gift I've ever received. A whole new love is created when you first see your little one enter the world. I couldn't be more proud of anything! I catch myself starring at him thinking how beautiful he is and the fact that he was created from us. I can't wait to share the rest of my life with him.

I'm both. I am excited to have the baby but scared about the c-section. Of course the idea of a vaginal delivery scares me as well.I cant win. I am nervous i can't believe that it is in less then 2 weeks. Think it is finally sinking in that I am going to have a baby!!!!

Typically when you don't want them to come they will! I begged her not come yesterday & I had the worse contractions I 've had so far...but she didn't come & hopefully I go into labor by myself, if not a little medical intervention will have to happen :D Be safe & hope your Carson comes soon!

Thanks...yeah I only decided to change my name because I'm still fairly new and even after lukas is born it will work. I think I went to Account Settings or something like that, it took me a little while to find it.

I've never heard of that program!...I'll have to look into it! I would LOVE to get pampered for free! I actually have secondary medical insurance through DSHS since I'm "single" which means I dont have to pay a dime! (well except for circumcision). Its such a huge relief!! So there ARE benefits to having a child out of wedlock! (I had to be sure my grandma knew that) ;)

Anyway...keep up the walkin! Baby Carson needs to come out!

Howdy. T minus 50 hours and counting! Oh my gosh, so much to do and so little time. Problem is, it isn't stuff I should be doing. My house is a mess, but I can't get the kid to do ANY work. It is driving me nuts. I cleaned my room the other day and it about killed me. ( it was REALLY dirty though) I also need to pack my bag. And someone has to go to the grocery today. I think my grandma is taking my nephew. I just need to get a list together. I am just paranoid about missing or forgetting something...
I can't believe the end is near! ( of pregnancy) I have been greatly uncomfortable the past few days. I can't believe how BIG I am. I am really looking forward to the chance of losing weight. Not that I am going to be able to do much for a while, but I want to get out and at least walk as soon as I can.
Yes, I am VERY fair complected and should heal ok.I usually do. I was just worried about the location. But since the Dr. is working with me all should be good. I am not looking forward to the incision pain. But at least after I can take pain meds. I have had many aches and pains these past nince months that I just had to live with. AT least now I can look forward to some drugs! LOL
I will try to get Rowen up on here. Probably will be when I can get shots of me on here too. My girlfriend will be taking pix Monday so she will download them for me. I think she is bringing her laptop to the hospital so we can work on that project from there...
This will probably be my last time on BB. ( before birth) I will see you on the other side!!! hahahahaha....

so pretty much ladies i am in full blown labor... and i dont know if its cause i never got cramps with my period before... and never really experienced them or what.. but i am in soooooo much pain.. i was at L&D for 3 hours.. and was in pain and wanted to just come home and sleep in my own bed and take a bath since i am only 2cm.. but as i was leaving they said.. "well we will see you later tonight..."
i will keep you all updated.. but wow.. these contractions are hurting sooo much

hey ladies.. so im still here.. fat as ever... well pregnant at least.. but man this contractions are annoying.. cause they dont hurt.. they just get super super tight and it's every 3 mins it seems... but im glad i didnt stay in the hospital... i would rather be spending these early parts of labor at home being able to sleep in my own bed.. but they said he might be coming any moment... but im hoping he makes it til my dr. appt today.. i have a few questions i want to get out of the way before this little boy is born... plus i really dont want him to be a halloween baby!
so hopefully he will come anytime after today/tonight and i will be able to still dress up as juno and hand out candy!

Yeah we found one at the last stop we made for the night, it was funny too cause all we had left was 18 dollars and we had to practically beg the man to give it to me. he was like "I give it to you just cause your pregnant" lol

I went to the doc today and he said he bets I will go mid of next week, so we will see. He said I was pretty much all the way effaced and 2 dilated. Also the baby is at station one. But I have been having contractions all day, I think I really realize what they feel like now, I can also tell because my belly gets super hard for like a minute and then calms down...but they are pretty far apart. I am very tempted to go walking too. :) I wish I had someone to trick or treat with! My bro is eleven but he staying with a friend like 2 hours away. I was like "MAN!"

I am sure you will go before me! At least you are dialated and he is ready to go.. My baby has up and moved out and is just hanging out in the belly! I look like I swallowed a pumpkin!!! Just counting down the days now. I go for my 39 week on wednesday. Hopefully they have something good to tell me!! well keep me posted and let me know if anything happens on your end!

Hey girl wanted to see how your doing...I'm doing well, had an appt. yesterday I am still 1cm & 1/2, she said she could feel her head though. I find out today if they have an opening next thursday to induce me. I pretty much bullied my doctor into, HAHA! I will right a blog later on about the outcome & everything that happened yesterday...Hope your well & I hope we have our babies soon :D Oh & Happy Halloween (This is the 1 day i donot mind NOT having her, however John would love to have her today, NO WAY!)

sooo quick question...

were you or are you scared about labor?

after hearing my dr say last night i was in the early stage.. i for some reason like got super scared and nervous about labor... and what not.. and like scared to go through it!

yeah I went, it was the first time I have ever gone. It is sooo cool! I wanna go every year. I think I about drove Rick crazy cause I wanted to find the perfect giraffe purse and we looked at EVERY booth imaginable lol.

I read that sweeping the membranes is when the doctor goes in and detaches the amniotic sac from the uterine wall....they say its supposed to bring on labor, but ultimately doesn't have a good success rate, and they say its painful, can cause bleeding, and cramps. I dunno, now I am kinda scared to do it! lol

What do your contractions feel like? Cause sometimes I think I feel mine, but I cant tell if they are just pain or if they are contractions....

ok so at the hospital they checked me and i was only a finger dialated.. so they put me on a monitor and with in about an hour i had changed to 1 cm.... and having contractions every 2 mins but they were not hurting at all... and i was getting so tired and the bed was so uncomfortable so i asked if i could go home and sleep.. and they said yes.. but they said they will be seeing me soon with contractions like those.. but when they told me i was in early stages of labor.. i actually got super freaked out and scared.. like oh wow this is going to be all over with soon... but as of now i am back at home getting ready to get in my warm bed!

What is the hardest test you have? That's when you will probably start contractions! LOL Just kidding. SOunds like he is making his way down the long red carpet for his grand entrance though. Won't be long. I kind of had a mini panic attack late last night about the C-section. First time ever. I am pretty calm and collected about it. But for some reason I just got suddenly creeped out about it. I'm ok now. Monday my doctor asked if I had any questions about it. My biggest concern is how the wound will heal. SInce I am a bigger girl I am afraid the wound will be right in the crease of my big belly. Since that area stays warmer and moist by nature, it isn't ideal for healing. The doctor looked at my tummy and said he will make the incision just slightly higher than a normal bikini cut. That way it won't be right in the crease and should heal nicely. He did say, due to her size, it may have to be slightly larger than the typical incision just to be able to get her out. He thought I asked a good question, I kind of impressed him. Other than that I know pretty much what to expect. ( I think ) It is so surreal to think this time next week my baby will be born. My baby.... Wow. Still trying to wrap my head around it. I guess I am slow, I've had nine months to adjust after all!
My niece posted my shower pix on her Facebook page. If I can get her to somehow send them to me directly I will try to get them on here. Not many and they are hard to see somewhat. ( too much light behind ) But it was a good shower.
Well, been sitting at this computer long enough now. Time to go recline before I blow up like a balloon. I'll try to log on again before Monday! Take care of yourself and little C man......

girl, your doctor is so aggravating that he even makes ME mad! Maybe you will end up liking one of his partners, and then everything will work out for the best. :) I felt like that when I was walking around court day, I kept having to stop and hold onto Rick to stand up....It was sad. I guess if I don't go into labor in the next two days I am seeing my doc again on Friday...are you going every week now?
