I am so proud to be the mother of Carson. Any doubt or fear I had has vanished. He is my greatest accomplishment, the best thing I've done in my life, and the greatest gift I've ever received. A whole new love is created when you first see your little one enter the world. I couldn't be more proud of anything! I catch myself starring at him thinking how beautiful he is and the fact that he was created from us. I can't wait to share the rest of my life with him.

Ok- my chance to check on you. Been a while since you have been around. Is Carson here? How are you doing? I certainly hope you have just been busy with the last minute crunch. I need to get busy. Still haven't packed my bag yet. Don't know what I am waiting for... I also have all my shower gifts to put away and do all of my thank you cards. Wonder if you can write well in labor? LOL

LOL, yes it gets down to like 40 degrees here @ night & I love it, my poor bf is always freezing...I break a sweat just walking up & down the stairs! Ugh...when's your next appt? Mine is Friday, I really hope something comes of it!

My appointment yesterday was weird. First, I found out just how big she is measuring. You know how when they measure your tummy? In the last trimester is should match your weeks..I am 36 wks so I should measure 36 cm?? Well, I am measuring 44 cm!!! No wonder I feel like a blob. Then, when we were just about done my doctor says "I'm going to send you over to the hospital now to get a non-stress test." Huh? I have no idea what it was for really. He said "just a precaution". So I went over there and had to lay on a gurney for about 45 minutes strapped to a fetal monitor and BP cuff. Everything was fine and I was sent home. It was just weird. I did have the chance to go ahead and do most of my admissions paper work while I was there. The lady asked if I wanted to since I wasn't in pain with labor and it would get it out of the way. I said sure, I'm all for that. So other than a couple things I wasn't sure on I am good to go. Just walk in and have the kid!
Well, let me say TGIF! And not just Friday. Thank God it's Fall! I am so glad it has cooled off. I personally won't miss the heat and humidity while pregnant. I am sure you won't either.. It wasn't bad until about late August for me. I tolerated it pretty well until then. But after that I was the human oven and the humidity just caused the water retention to be worse. Nope, not sad to see it all change. Besides, I love the cool weather, beautiful leaves and Halloween! Have you thought much about the holidays this year? Gonna be different, that's for sure! I have cooked Thanksgiving dinner for the past 6 years ( started two years before my mom died) and this year won't be an exception. No one else seems to know what to do but me. Except this year I will have just had a baby. Hopefully there will be a few weeks between to get back up and around well.
Oh well, getting ahead of myself. Right now I just wonder if she will come early or around her due date...
Well, time to get off this task chair. Not comfortable for very long. I have my (probably last) ultrasound at 1pm today. Then I HAVE to go to the BMV and get my tags. Nothing like waiting until the last minute. If I can handle it my friend wants to take me out for dinner tonight too. Big day for me since I haven't been doing anything lately!
