My profile

Uh oh! Ive got you now! Once youre in the Obscured Zone, you cant leave!! AHH HAHAHHA..

Ok, just kidding. Here is something short and quick on me;

Im a photographer, graphic designer, and a abstract contemporary painter. I like video games, car stuff, and computer stuff. Im 22, this is my first child and probably the last one that will come out of me. I was hoping for my first to be a boy and I was lucky enough to have him on the way. In the future, I could see myself adopting a female or another male. You couldnt pay me enough to go though another pregnancy anytime soon though, lol.

The Baby

I cant wait to see him! I hope he comes out completely healthy. I find myself not taking to "making fun of people" because you never know what you'll get and the card youre dealt is the card you'll have to keep. Im looking forward to the day when I can sit down with my boy and paint with him, or show him how to take pictures of the things he likes, go camping, skateboard, and all that other fun stuff. I cant wait!!! ARRGGHH!!! I want to nibble on his little cheeks!!! Id much rather hear a whining baby than be preggo. What a great challenge a newborn will be, Im so excited. The first time he cries and I sooth him by holding him at my chest will be the greatest moment for me ever!!

The Family

I live with my fiance, David. We got a new-old house a year ago. A boy is a great addition to our family since everyone has been having girls. At first I wanted to be married before I had a baby, but actually, its better for the baby to be in the wedding so its like youre making that lifetime promise to your partner and to your child. I think it sounds good anyway.

Having this child will make a huge cultural mix with our families now! There will be african american, native indian and a variety of european heritage all mixed together. YAY!

How`s my pregnancy doing?

your cervix is getting thinner so you are starting to efface!!!!!

autumnandbabygirl - Wednesday, 1 October
Your doctor was refering to your cervix. In order to dilate your cervix needs to thin out and the thinner it gets the more you dilate.

I've actually been on zoloft for seven years now and this is my third child. I haven't noticed any side effects for my baby boy now 4 almost 5 yrs. It is considered one of the safest drugs to take during pregnancy. Especially considering the alternative, hope that helps.

obscured.... i totally agree i love feeling of touching my lil boy through my tummy and he always responds, we have a british bulldog called mathilda, she loves my bump and she puts her head on it and snores, he always kicks back and she looks at it perplexed, ah ah... if only men could feel what we feel with the movements and kicks, that would help them bond... glad your pregnancy is going well, mine is perfect too, so easy so far... it's my first baby and i am already thinking of the next one... take care XX

Sure, I actually had to ask her the reason because I wanted to stay on it, it's helped me so much. And I'm anticipating postpartum depression so she said I can go back on it right after the baby's born. (Even though I am going to breastfeed) She says less of it passes that way than while your pregnant...

I have been on Zoloft for the past 3 months. It has helped me a lot and the doctor said it's the only one she will prescribe to pregnant women. She also said I have to ween myself off of it 2 weeks before my due date I have to be off it completely. I started taking half dose Monday and plan to be off it completely by Monday. She said some babies have a hard time coming of it and it should be done in utero.

Yeah...I have been in the hospital for four weeks and they have offered me Ambien..but I have bad reaction to it...so they give me another sleeping pill. Also, I take Prozac and Lortab right now. If the doc says it is okay...then I listen to them. On the Prozac bottle it says not to use it in the third trimester, but my doc says it is okay.

Hi. To answer your question about which way to sleep: Why am I supposed to sleep on my left side?
There's no harm in sleeping on your right side, but lying on your left side or tilted to the left is the best way to ensure proper circulation. It takes all the pressure off of the vena cava — the vein that returns blood from your lower body to your heart. This vein runs along the right side of your spine and may be compressed by your growing uterus when you sleep on your back. Compression of the vena cava can cause decreased blood flow to the placenta and baby. If you end up flat on your back in the night, don't panic: Women who do suffer from a compressed vena cava will likely unconsciously shift positions in their sleep to take the pressure off the vein, says Dr. Mark Taslimi, a professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Lucille Packard Children's Hospital in Palo Alto, California.

This is a lot of info. but I hope it helps!
