This is our first baby!

I am originally from Guernsey in the UK and my hubby is from Maryland.

My husband and I met at university in 2000 while in New Zealand, we lived there for about 3 years and then moved to Dubai for a couple more years. We moved to Maryland 3 years ago and got married in 2005, so far we are having a great time!

The plan is to have a natural birth. I wouldn't have chosen to have no medication but I can't find a drug which I am happy with. I really wanted a water birth and maybe some nitrous oxide to suck on if it all got too much. But over here water births and the use of nitrous oxide isn't available in the majority of US hospitals :( Its pretty normal in the UK... Oh well, I suppose I will let my body take control!
