~Here's a little background info~

My name is Laura and my Husband's name is Dean! We found out we were expecting February 22nd. Our sweet baby Gage came 7 weeks early on September 14th 2007! The birth story is posted in my children section. It's been an amazing adventure!!!

Gage Michael Is Here!!!!

~Gage's 1 year Dr. Appointment~

I took Gage to his 1 year appointment and he is 31 inches long and 21.3 pounds. He is in the 90th percentile for length and 25th percentile for weight. The Dr. was very pleased with his size. He is now off formula and onto whole milk. He literally went from being a baby to a toddler in an hour. Makes me kind of sad!!! Our little bambino is getting to be a BIG BOY!!!

Thank you so much for the holiday blast. Finally things are getting so crazy, but I will do what I can. It's amazing how time waits on no one.

Getting so, so busy for me....hubby to arrive this Friday and of course, I am not ready.

The girls I am babysitting mom return to America on Wednesday and all ready I miss them! Anyway, we have done out weekly shopping and for the first time the 2 year old actually kicked me out of bed last night! So, glad I wasn't pregnant as this might not have went over too well.

Otherwise, all is well and I am so tired these days. The kids are a bit draining, but so worth it.

Hey Laura! I had my pre-op appointments today. Doctor is going to do a regular laproscopic surgery, and he thinks it will take about 3 hours. He is going to get my really huge one, and whatever else he can safely get without putting my future fertility at risk. I can't wait to get this sucker out and see how much it weighs. He told me he will take pictures for me, and possibly even video since it is Penn State's teaching hospital. I am soooo excited that I might be able to stand still without back pain, and hold my bladder for more than an hour. Did you notice a difference in sex once your fibroid was out?

Hey Ms. Laura, happy 4th of July to you as well! We've had a fun filled weekend of family visits, pool swimming and BBQ's. We're very tired, but it's been a lot of fun. Hope you're feeling well and are able to enjoy your weekend.

I hope you have a great weekend too! I've been meaning to write but I've been keeping myself pretty busy! Now that baby is moving as quick as lightening there is no "down time" unless she's sleeping! Whew!

Hi Laura! Well thank you and I wish you the same! We might take a walk to the park to go see some fireworks. Anelise loves loudness, so we will see. I'm just worried about bugs and thinking it may not be the best idea. Hmmmm. She's too little for insect repellant. Well...hope you have a fun weekend!!! Oh, and Anelise is weighing 5 lbs 9oz now...she may by more though since she gains about an oz a day and this weight was taken on Monday. We are very happy. Okay...take care!!!!

Oh... Thank you! We are going to one of my hubby's friends house tomorrow evening. It should be alot of fun! He lives on a farm and he's having a big BBQ and firework display with hayrack rides. Saturday.. we are going to drive to Oklahoma City to take the kiddos to the water park there.

What do you have planned?

I'll get some pictures but they won't be very exciting... Can you believe I still haven't taken a picture of Zayden in his swimming suit tho? I better get on that!

Don't worry about the crawling, all babies are different! Ryan is way too advanced for his age...the crawling thing keeps you really busy too! Maybe he wont crawl and go straight to walking....Ive heard of that too!!! Chicken legs..lol...Ryan will probably have chicken legs too,hehe. Too funny. Give Gage a big hug from his little buddy Ryan. Take care.

WHEW! We're home and they didn't have to sedate him! YIPPEE! He slept while they were putting ALL 26 wires on and then the tech had to put one on each of his hands and one on his face and he woke up. OOPPS!! I think he had a panic attack because I have never heard him cry like that before... poor guy! Anyway, about 5 minutes later I was able to calm him and he slept for the remainder of the EEG.

I tried very hard to read the ladies face that was doing the EEG but she was good at keeping a straight face! VERY GOOD!

Now we get to wait for the doctor to read the information. Hopefully we will get some results before the 4th?

hey Laura! How are ya? Just a few more days til the three day weekend. Hope the weather's gonna be cooperative, cause sat and sun we have outdoor plans all day long!! How's little Gage doin? I wonder how he'll react to the fireworks. When Mason was his age we took him to see fireworks and he was completely mesmerized by them, never startled once. We're not going anywhere this year tho, just having a cookout/swim/fireworks down here in poquoson at my husband's aunt's pool. Peyton's over her ear infection, funny it never seemed as tho it bothered her. She had her four month check-up and she is now weighing 15-12, and almost 26 inches.
We decided to wait a little while longer feeding her cereal with a spoon, and just put in in her bottle. Glad to hear all was well at your post-op. Have a great weekend!!

Oh... Thank you! Zayden is SOOOO fussy right now. I feel so sorry for him. They are trying to prevent sedating him so I'm supposed to keep him up. UGH! It's 10:00 and he's crying trying to go to sleep and his appointment isn't until 1:00. HELP ME!

Oh, I know...Yuck! I have been so violated to say the least.

Anyway, here's hoping for all good things.

Oh, my love will be here in two Fridays!

I just don't know what to do with myself as I am sure you can imagine. I miss him so much and just want to hold him and never let him go.

We spoke this morning, so long and I just felt so mushy inside and didn't want to let him go on the phone.

Anyway, I am so glad to see my cycle today I don't know what to do!

Anyway, I still have to go to the doctor. Two more appointments. Monday and on the 9th of July!

A miscarriage is harder than having the baby!

I just read your update. He is so long! They did Bryanna's 9 month appointment early (at 8 1/2months) and she was 19#10oz. & 27 1/2in. Very cute pictures also! I can't believe their almost one, where has time gone? Have you started to plan his 1st bday yet?

I am fine, but the doctor's office called again on my blood work. My levels are still too high, so I have to go there again and get my blood drawn!

It's really, really getting old!

Travis was 17lbs 4oz at nine months, below the 5th percentile :-(. He was 29", so he is a tiny bit shorter than Gage. He definitely must have a fast metabolism and the only time he stops moving is when he's asleep so I think he burns a lot of calories too. I can't believe our babies are toddlers.... So sad!
