~Here's a little background info~

My name is Laura and my Husband's name is Dean! We found out we were expecting February 22nd. Our sweet baby Gage came 7 weeks early on September 14th 2007! The birth story is posted in my children section. It's been an amazing adventure!!!

Gage Michael Is Here!!!!

~Gage's 1 year Dr. Appointment~

I took Gage to his 1 year appointment and he is 31 inches long and 21.3 pounds. He is in the 90th percentile for length and 25th percentile for weight. The Dr. was very pleased with his size. He is now off formula and onto whole milk. He literally went from being a baby to a toddler in an hour. Makes me kind of sad!!! Our little bambino is getting to be a BIG BOY!!!

thought I com by and see how you guys are doing? I'm doing pretty good here. trying to plan my oldest brithday party for this weekend... man I'm always doing something lol. went in for my blood work yesterday. to check the thinning of my blood. I go to the doctor for my appointment next week on monday I can't wait. I want to hear the babys heartbeat lol.. well hope you having a good week. take care.

I am just using up some formula I had and then Bryanna will be making the transition to whole milk also. I am sure she'll like it. She likes to eat everything and anything. I got a used Britax for super cheap and it still has 3 years on it till it expires, so plently of time till we just need a forward facing one. Bryanna loves to be forward facing too! We have the Boulevard which has the wings that stick out for side impact and she likes to play peek a boo with them. She's so silly. We'll just be driving along and she'll just start lauhing. She has a personality.

It's definatly hard chasing after them. Bryanna is so ready to walk, she's just gotta learn to keep her balance a little better and she'll be off. Is he crawling or walking? Bryanna still primarily crawls. Oh well...i'm sure in a couple of months i'll be like, 'I wish you weren't crawling' :)

Heh! I wanna see the pictures!! Did you take one in his monkey costume? I tell ya.. that thing is soooo big and thick! LOL! I don't think Zayden is gonna go for it to much on Halloween!

I wanna take both of my kids again for pictures before Christmas. Guess I should schedule soon!

Speaking of scheduling... did you re-schedule Gage's flu shot? Yea, I bet he wasn't to disappointed that he missed it! LOL!

We had another nice relaxing weekend! Friday night my hubby took Zayden and I out to dinner at a nice restaurant. My daughter wasn't home again... of course.

Saturday I did some yard work and took my daughter to see see a movie. A friend of mine watched Zayden for me so that was nice!

Yesterday, I took a 2 hour nap with Zayden and did NOTHING! Felt guily but I even skipped Church! Oh.. Yea... Almost forgot, I did go to a baby shower!

Boy, I'm sounding pretty boring huh? LOL! For once in my life... I'm excited to be "boring".

This next Saturday is the NICU reunion... I am excited about that though!

That IS funny that the boys are both going to be "Old Navy Monkey's"! I think mine will look cuter though! LOL! JUST KIDDING! Glad I'm far from you right now so you can't smack me! hehe... I love ya!

Heh... I have a Prayer request! Do you know Diamond by any chance? You might have run accross her page before? I met her on here when I was pregnant with Zayden and she is pregnant again. Well, her new name is: I-Make-Army-Brats2 . She's in the hospital with the second baby and she is only 25 weeks. My heart is aching for her as I was admitted to the hospital on bedrest with Zayden at 25.6 weeks. I certainly hope she doesn't have to endure what we have with a pre-mature birth.

I truly believe in the POWER of PRAYER!

I know what you're talking about time flying by. Some relatives of mine have new babies and when they where at the party their like oh I can't wait till 'blah''s doing that. And I just chuckled to myself because I remember saying the exact same thing. I really wish I would've apperciated the baby stage more. Sure she's more fun know, but she won't let me cuddle her like a baby. And to think she's is just going to get bigger and bigger.

Yeah Bryanna is going to be a bee. I found it on ebay for super cheap. I tried it on her also and she was not a fan. It has wings that are attached to the shoulder so they would tickle her face and she kept licking them :) He is going to be a super cute monkey! Where did you get the costume? I can't wait to see him in it...it's going to be too cute!

Have you switched him to milk? We're planning on it when the rest of our formula runs out. Also, have you switched his carseat around? We got Bryanna a new one for this(a britax boulevard) and she loves it. The Britax has this side impact "wings' and she likes to play peek-a-boo with them. It's SO much nicer than our old one(Graco Comfortsport). She is a much better car rider too because she can see us. She laughs and plays with us. It's so nice.

I haven't gotten her flu shot yet. We were at the doctor this Tuesday, but she wanted to wait till later in the month to get it. So I am going to wait for a flu clinic so we can all get it.

I cannot believe it's been a year already. It makes me a little sad to know that the rest of the years are just going to go faster.

Hey girl!

Have fun taking those pictures! If Gage is anything like Zayden HE WON'T SIT STILL! ;)) My aunt bought Zayden an outfit and it took me 10 minutes to get Zayden to sit still so I could snap a photo of him in the outfit! REALLY!

I got quite a few shots of his side... back... etc... LOL!

That is funny that Gage is going to be a monkey cause' Zayden is too! I actually bought the costume when I was pregnant thinking that he could wear it on his 1st Halloween but obviously it swallowed him! You didn't happen to get Gage's at Old Navy did you? I actually put Zayden's costume on him last week to see if it fit and he looked at me like there was something seriously wrong with me! LOL! I think he's already worried about his mom!

Oh... yep, Zayden is getting his flu shot. I'm taking both of the kids on the 24th! We can't afford to get these lil' kiddos sick! I'm glad to hear that Gage is getting his!

Gonna try to get someone to watch Zayden this Saturday so I can take my daughter to a movie or something. My hubby has a camp-out for management employees only.

Sunday I have a baby shower to go to! What FUN!

My van is running good now! Hubby looked at it and said the "idle" was set to low so he adjusted it.... "hope" that was all it was. Good news is... it didn't cost me anything! YEA!

HI...I just wanted to let you know I posted a blog about Bryanna's first birthday. Also I was just wondering how much gage weighed and how tlal he was at his 12 month appointment. Bryanna weighed 20#13oz and 30in. Also she had to get the three shots and blood drawn...poor baby was not a happy camper :)

Ryan is doing great!! Steps...more like already running....lol. He has been walking for about a month and is going full speed ahead. He dances, claps his hands, throws balls, blows kisses, shakes his head NO....lol,he is just all over the place, and keeps me very busy...but I love it!!! Im doing a pirate theme birthday party at a local indoor playground. He is going to be a pirate for halloween, so Im debating whether to put the custome on him for his birthday....probably not...but who knows. He has pictures next week at his mothers day out, so I need to get him a cute outfit. I have sooo much to do before his birthday....it insane....I can't believe he is almost 1 year old, time is flying. Ryan loves the little tykes lawn mower and vacuum and of course any type of ball!! Is Gage walking yet? What ever happen with his leg? how did the therapy go? He is so beautiful, you and Dean did a great job!!!! take care

well everything here is good. the shots are going ok lol I'm getting use to them :). brianna is doing great. eating all the time. were pretty busy this month with everyon e having doctors apptpointments and denist appointments and birthday, halloween lol, after school stuff, no wounder i'm tired all the time

LOL! Now the furniture is going huh? Congrats on Gage crusing though! How exciting momma!

We had a nice relaxing weekend! Zayden is doing wonderful. He's still doing the funky hand thing but everything else is getting back to normal! THANK GOD! Yesterday we spent the day at our Church Camp for a beautiful day of family fellowship! We roasted hot dogs and marshmellows around a campfire and listened to our Youth Pastor sing. It was exactly what I needed to refresh! It was sooo much fun listening to the kids laugh and sing and play and JUST BE KIDS!

We plan to insulate our basement this weekend...great fun! Heating oil is almost $5 a gallon this year so what we spend will come back to us, we hope...LOL!

I know what you mean about a protective mama bear instinct coming out. The babies I know right near Michael's actual age and adjusted age are what I always compare him to. A friend of mine was actually on bedrest in the room next door to me at the hospital for a weekend before they let her go home her baby was full term 5 days afterMichael. I alwasy ask what she is doing for a preview! But the other babies are girls, and boys and girls develop differently. But I try to force myself to relax and say time will tell!

When I met my sister yesterday, I told her to go easy on me that I am in terrible shape after bedrest, incision issues and another surgery. She laughed and said she was going to ask me to go easy on her! So we just did a 20 or 25 minute mile and called it a good starting place.

I don't know how you do it as a single mama 6 days a week...I'd go nuts! My SIL does it too as my brother's work schedule is crazy.

Also, my nephew MArio is now 2 1/2. He was full term, but was behind at every single check up. He took his time doing everything. Didn't crawl til 12 months, didn't walk til almost 18...and he is perfectly normal and fine now. The milestones they give us are an just an average!

It is so nice to have you a few steps ahead of me on all of this stuff! I also try not to worry about the growth charts and milestones. He and my niece are very close in development and they were due the same week. I have actually wondered about CP myself, but I think it is way too young to tell. My mom who has cared for a ton of babies says she thinks he is fine. The only thing she has said she also worries about is his vision. He is so happy to see us on the changing table and closer, but if I talk to him while Bobby holds him a couple of feet away he does not look at me. He might wear glasses early, but time will tell. He does have an opthamologist follow up in December since he was a preemie. Also, I did call and get Michael a case worker who does early intervention. Whether he needs it or not, it can't hurt!

By the way I never mind if you go on! You have good stuff to say!

I feel good after my surgery! I had issues for a while b/c I stupidly stopped taking my thyroid meds for a while. Then I went back to work. I was so exhausted all the time, and just thought it was working mom stuff. Well...finally visited my doctor for a refill and I feel a lot better!

Do you have a hard time finding time to work out? I finally decided first thing in the morning is the only time so 5am tomorrow I go with my sister. I know that will add to feeling good. I'm glad to hear everything is going well for your family. Give Gage a kiss for me!

Hi, all! I am so sorry for not checking in more frequently. I am slammed with interior design stuff!

Anyway, I am fine...just moving along and really enjoying the time with my husband.

The weather was cool and brisk in Atlanta this morning. So, so nice of Fall to announce its arrival.

I did it! I did it! I'm so proud of myself girl...

I did in my leg and it wasn't as bad as it was in my belly!! I'm so happy lol.. but I did almost pass out after wards lol I had to lay down for about 5 mins lol.. but I did it! yay I hope tomarrow goes better. just thought I come by and tell you. how is everything with you guys? hopefully good. thank you for the kind words too it helped alot.
