~Here's a little background info~

My name is Laura and my Husband's name is Dean! We found out we were expecting February 22nd. Our sweet baby Gage came 7 weeks early on September 14th 2007! The birth story is posted in my children section. It's been an amazing adventure!!!

Gage Michael Is Here!!!!

~Gage's 1 year Dr. Appointment~

I took Gage to his 1 year appointment and he is 31 inches long and 21.3 pounds. He is in the 90th percentile for length and 25th percentile for weight. The Dr. was very pleased with his size. He is now off formula and onto whole milk. He literally went from being a baby to a toddler in an hour. Makes me kind of sad!!! Our little bambino is getting to be a BIG BOY!!!

Hi Laura! Oh... what a week! LOL! Busy... Busy... Busy! I could write a novel but I'm sure it would just bore ya!

I am taking Katelyn to go see "High School Musical on Ice" this weekend! Other than that... I am going to try and catch up on my sleep! ZZZZZZZ ....

How is Gage doing? When is your next appointment? Let me know how that goes!

This hasn't been a good week for my lil' man.

He got sick at the beginning of the week with cold like symptoms so he hasn't been feeling well. While he was sick he had another seizure... UGH! Since the seizure he is showing some weird behavior signs again. I wish I knew what was going on in his little head. Anyway, since the last seizure he is crawling with his right hand in a fist all the time again so we had to put his hand support back on. Something is definately going on with the right side of his body but we are just not sure what. There are times that he he plays like a perfectly normal baby and times that he holds his hand in a stiffened position and acts like he has no control over it. His PT says that he is displaying signs of sensory overload because he is trying to learn so much.

One day my heart breaks and the next I am just Thankful I have have him! I just hope he outgrows this stuff or we can work through it during his toddler years!

His next appointment is on Monday and I'm sure that his pediatrician will be sending him for another full evaluation at Children's or Heartsprings again very soon.

Considering all that is going on... I am well!

Guess I wrote a novel after all..... sorry ...

Hi, it's me again...

I am fine. Just waiting a few days before the BIG test. After all my cycle was to be here on Saturday. I hear five days forward is a good time to test.

My husband and I are finally talking about it. He admitted to being afraid and not ready.

I listened and realized men carry so many burdens.

I just keep telling him that we will make it!

I am just outdone on the absence of my cycle.

Oh, well...we will welcome Our Little Love with open arms.

The really bad part is that I am too scared to be happy. The last time around I would have rushed to get a test. This time...cool, calm and collective.

It's amazing how time can change things.

A lady today was pronounced dead from a car accident she just had Friday. News, I heard while at this construction project. All of which makes me excited to enjoy life and really move toward my goals.

I, do, hope that IF I am pregnant, I am not carrying around another false hope.

Sorry to be rambling on...I guess my emotions are just running a mile a minute.

I thought you POOFED! LOL! Have you gotten the new room built for Gage yet?

Did you say that they are sending you to a neurologist for Gage? ((I can't go back or I delete what I have already typed.. lol)) Let me know what they say. I'm very curious as to what they do to help him.

We are doing great! I'm doing another consignment sale this week. HA! I am dropping off my stuff tonight. I got my check for the last one today and I made $139.00. The checks are getting smaller but I'm still enjoying the extra cash. I am almost done with my Christmas shopping. YIPPEE!

So.. Zayden's next appointment is on Monday. It should be interesting to compare the size of the boys. They look about the same size to me but my lil' guy is a short little thing. Basketball doesn't look like the prime sport right now...

Was Gage over-stimulated affter his party? I LOVED the pictures that you sent!

Ok... kiddos are sleeping so I should be doing something constructive.

You are a GREAT friend too! God must have known what he was doing when he introduced us huh?

Jack goes for his appt tomorrow. I hate taking him for those dreaded shots! Blah!

but I can't wait to see what he weighs and how tall he is. I do believe he's right around 20 lbs now. He's got 4 teeth, crawling all over the place, pulling up on furniture and promptly falling down. If you look closely, you can see a little bruise on his cheek where he Ka-Bonged when he hit the ground. Poor kid looks like he's been in a fight every day. He loves pulling up, but doesn't have a lot of balance to stay up!

Gotta tell ya something really funny! A few minutes ago when I was typing... Zayden was sitting in my lap. Your slideshow started playing and Zayden saw Gage's pictures. Zayden suddenly got the biggest smile on his face and yelled.., "HI" ! It was hilarious!

This year flew by!!! I can't believe my baby is almost 1 year old!! His features are changing and like you said he looks like a toddler now!! He is soo funny!! He does this clicking thing with his tongue and says mama and dada and baba, shakes his head no and of course is full blown walking with shoes!! I started him in a mothers day out a couple of weeks ago and his teacher said that he is doing great!! They email me pictures of him on the playground or chapel just to ease my mind!!! I was a mess the first week, I was so sad and couldn't wait to pick him up!! It's starting to get alittle easier on me but I still cant wait to see him!! he is my pride and joy! I hope you have a great weekend and a fun birthday party(I wish I was there)!!! Can't wait to hear how much Gage has grown!!

wow 60 people thats alot! I think we got ole about 15 10 of it kids LOL.. thats awesome girl sure he will get lots of good things

yea been so sick and it sucks lol.. one day I'm ok and the next im a couch potatoes cause I can't get up to do anything lol.. I have to force myself like this morning lol. I just decided on what cake im getting her it will be some sort of princess since that her theme. man I still can't belive our babys are truning 1 I could cry lol I know what you mean about running around. I have alot to do on saturday that is going to be my day of running for everything since her dad is off work this weekend. well I hope the party truns out well and tell Gage I said happy 1st Birthday!!

hey girl hows it going? man have I been sick with this one lol... I'm trying to get ready for Brianna's frist birthday party were having it this sunday! can you believe it she will be a year old in 7 days! where has the time gone?? were having a princess party! I'm so excited my little one has grown so much and so fast! she is walking everywhere getting into everything lol she loves her ride on toy, and gumball toy lol.. she also cutting her 3rd tooth which on the top! wow she been cranky and poor runny nose I hope she feels better by sunday. lolcause she has a big day ahead of her. how are you and Gage doing? ready for his big party?

he is getting so cute girl! well I better get my butt off here and get some things done lol I have been very lazy since bening sick lol...ttyl bye

Hmmm at Travis' 1yr appointment it was pretty much the same as all of the rest of the checkups. They asked if he was walking, saying words, waving, can't remember what else. He also got three shots, two vaccines and a flu shot. I'm a little uneasy about the flu shot but I decided to go with it this year and see how it goes. I'm still breastfeeding so I probably should've just said no but then there's always this voice in my head that says "what if" he gets really sick and I could've prevented it.... I guess that's the fun of being a Mom! The vaccines were prevnar which this was his fourth and final of that one and varivax which is the chicken pox vaccine. No blood work or any other tests. Oh and Travis finally gained weight! He is now in the 20th percentile for weight at 20lbs 10oz and still 90th for height at 31 inches.

OMG where has the time gone!!!! Gage is going to be a year old on Sunday!!! Are you excited about the party, are you still doing the beach theme?? I'm still trying to figure out what Im doing for Ryan...maybe gymboree...idk...I hope your doing well!! How is Gage these days?
